Said a lot of good things coldly

Xia Nuo wanted to eat by herself, but he shook his head and refused, insisting on feeding her.

He would take a bite if she wanted to, and he wouldn't eat if she didn't.

Xia Nuo was helpless. In the end, she ate half of the meal and she was full.

After eating, the two rested for a while and then worked separately. Now that the company is on the right track, Leng Yan has also hired a few salesmen, so Xia Nuo has very little work to do.

She quickly handles the things at hand and has nothing to do.

There were still two hours before she got off work. She told Leng Yan that she wanted to go home. Leng Yan agreed and said that he would drive to pick her up after get off work later.

Xia Nuo nodded in agreement.

She came to the community where her parents lived and knocked on the door.

Xia's father opened the door for her and when he saw it was her, he asked doubtfully: "You didn't go to work today?"

Xia Nuo smiled and said: "I'm on, but I'll get off work early to see you."

"Come in, your mother is making dumplings. She will eat before leaving in a while."

Xia Nuo felt very happy when her father said this. Her parents' anger towards her was no longer so serious.

Are they gradually beginning to forgive her?

Putting down her bag, Xia Nuo rolled up her sleeves and walked to the kitchen. She smiled and said, "Mom, let me help you."

"No, I can do it alone. Don't make things more chaotic by helping me." Xia's mother said calmly.

Xia Nuo stayed close to her and refused to leave: "No, I want to help. Mom, do you dislike the dumplings I make because they don't look good?"

"That's right." Xia's mother didn't even raise her head.

Xia Nuo wasn't sad either. She picked up a piece of dumpling wrapper and said with a smile while wrapping it: "Mom, it was you who taught me how to make the dumplings. My wrapping didn't look good because you didn't teach me well."

Mother Xia stared at her speechlessly and let her go.

Xia Nuo is very smart. She was just talking nonsense with her mother when she was making dumplings. Then she accidentally told a lot of information. For example, Leng Yan cooked all the food at home and almost all the housework was done by him.

The performance of the company he runs is getting better and better, and his family has added a nanny car. He also said that he would find an opportunity to take them on outings.

She said many nice things about Leng Yan, just hoping that her mother would like Leng Yan and accept him.

Mother Xia knew what she was thinking, so she listened quietly without revealing anything.

At the end of the conversation, Xia Nuo asked tentatively: "Mom, are you still unwilling to tell me the grudge between you and Leng Yan's mother?"

Mother Xia put down the dumplings, washed her hands, and then threw the dumplings into the boiling pot.

"Mom, tell me, I don't want you to hide it."

Mother Xia glanced at her and said, "What can I do if I tell you? You and Leng Yan are already married. Besides, aren't you living a good life? Don't mention the past."

Xia Nuo was stunned.

Did her mother not want to ruin her current happy life, so she didn't want to speak out?

Her eyes suddenly became moist.

She lowered her head and pinched the dumplings, feeling very guilty. Her mother seemed to be against them, but in fact she was very considerate of them.

She was so unfilial that she even made them sad.

"Mom, I'm sorry..." Xia Nuo said in a low voice, tears rolling down her eyes. She quickly reached out to wipe them away, but Xia Nuo's mother still saw her actions.

She sighed and pushed her body: "Go out and sit with your dad for a while. I'll take care of it here."

"Oh." Xia Nuo washed his hands and walked out of the kitchen, then went to drink tea with his father.

After eating the dumplings, Leng Yan also came to pick her up.
