100. Swamp Room

Everyone has their own unique way of dealing with things.

This is the assessment, or the purpose of "The Adventures of Terry and Tesla": to know the behavior of each newcomer.

Lu Li's caution and Duoma's directness were one of them.

As for whether the newcomer's behavior style is suitable for investigators, that is something to be considered later.

Doma threw away the head of the poor dwarf puppet whose neck was broken, but kept its body. He grabbed his legs with one hand and pushed open the wooden door on the left.

The remaining people looked at each other and followed Duoma. Lu Li still walked at the end, closing the door behind him.

"Is this swamp an illusion? It's too real." Frank looked around and couldn't help but exclaimed.

The others had similar expressions, with their eyes wide open and observing the surroundings with disbelief. They huddled in a small area behind the door, as if the surroundings were a dirty and dark quagmire except under their feet.

Lu Li noticed something from these words and their performance. He looked around the room. There was no difference between this room and the previous room. The only difference was that this room had only one wooden door, directly opposite them.

Did you have hallucinations due to absorbing the "ghost's mind"?

Lu Li made a guess in his mind.

This is indeed the case.

Putrid bubbles emerged from the dark purple mire, surging with viscosity. A few twisted dead trees were rooted in the mire, and a few black crows landed on the bare branches, making unbearable strange calls. A solitary door

The wooden door stands on the other side of the swamp. Just like the previous level, the door leads to the next level.

A narrow path bypassed the center and extended intermittently to the other side. In the middle of the swamp, there was a wooden sign standing on what seemed to be a foothold on the ground.

There seems to be writing on it.

This is what the four Franks saw.

[A dangerous swamp blocks your way. You must move through the dangerous swamp flexibly and quickly to reach the next area]

Tristan's voice echoed throughout the swamp.

"There may be problems with the swamps. Please be careful not to step into the wrong-colored swamps."

Owen, who was stolen the spotlight by Doma in the previous level, couldn't wait to speak out.

He clearly knows that everyone's performance in the assessment is being watched by the four persons in charge. The better the performance, the greater the chance of joining the investigators.

"Just walking over!"

With a low hum, Doma whipped up a stream of air and rushed into the swamp path again.

It is somewhat difficult to understand what the investigator who recommended her to join the investigator was thinking in his head when he recommended her to join the investigator.

Equally difficult to understand is this awkward sentence.

"Be careful." Frank warned nervously, raising his arms as if crossing a single-plank bridge, and followed Doma cautiously.

"If it were a maze, this guy would definitely smash through the wall..." Owen sighed, and the third one followed.

Only Lu Li and Daniel were left on a small piece of "land" in front of the door.

Feeling Daniel's gaze, Lu Li said to him: "I'll go last."

Without saying a word, Daniel turned around and followed Owen.

Lu Li followed them at the end, stepping on the footprints they left to avoid stepping into unseen dangerous swamps.

Nervous? Thrilling? He only saw the bare red brick walls.

Lu Li is like a bystander outside the story.

Of course, at best, Lu Li is the only one among everyone who can see through the illusion and observe the essence.

As agile as a female leopard, Doma arched her body, easily jumped over the protruding rocks in the swamp, and jumped to the other side of the path.

Behind him, Flando stretched out his arms, carefully stepped on the rocks, swayed from side to side, waited for his body to stabilize, then jumped to another block, and finally jumped onto the path.

Owen and Daniel were pretty good, but Lu Li was the most thrilling. He didn't pause, nor did he adopt a Doma posture, but was as calm as if he was stepping on stones in the stream to cross the other side. It was obvious that his shoes had almost touched the swamp a few times.

edge.

Is this guy so powerful...

Owen muttered in his mind. He had been observing these people. Doma, who was stubborn, understood Frank well, who wanted to make friends with everyone. Daniel and Lu Li were the only ones he couldn't see through. It just so happened that they were both driven.

Demon.

But now it seems that Lu Li is more powerful?

In fact, Lu Li just didn't want to be like them, jumping around in an empty room - something a child would do while playing house.

Especially when a few people from Tesla don't know where to hide and peek.

"I still can't see clearly what's written on it..."

This is the closest position to the ground in the center of the swamp, but it is still about three meters away. Frank leaned forward, trying to read clearly what was written on the wooden sign.

Owen analyzed: "The color of the ground there is different, so it may not be that dangerous. There is also a sign with warnings written on it. There should be a way for us to get there, or to see the content clearly."

There can be no meaningless wooden sign at this level.

"I can jump over there."

Doma suddenly said.

When the voice sounded, she had already thrown the headless dwarf puppet onto the central bank. When the voice fell, she had already bent her legs, and her explosive muscles were highlighted in her legs. They tensed up instantly and jumped to the other bank.

Landing on the edge of the opposite bank, Doma shook the tiny braid on his head, picked up the dwarf puppet and walked to the edge of the wooden sign.

A line of small words appeared in the middle of the wooden sign: You are weak and need to be supported by teammates.

Just as the question emerged in his mind, Doma's entire strength was suddenly drained, and he collapsed to the ground unable to do anything.

"Doma!"

Frank shouted when he saw this scene.

Owen stopped Frank, who seemed to be about to jump over: "Calm down, she's not really dead, that might be a trap set by the level."

Doma raised his head with difficulty, looked at the people on the path, gritted his teeth and said weakly: "You can't read the wooden sign...!"

"You wait for us, we will rescue you now!"

Frank suddenly ran forward for a distance, turned around, took a deep breath, and accelerated towards them. When he got close, he suddenly changed direction, stepped on the edge of the path, and jumped to the other side.

He almost fell diagonally to the other side. His landing position was ugly, and he was even stained with a pile of mud, but he still made it over successfully.

"I'll go over and help..." Owen sighed helplessly, and the scholar Frank jumped to the other side, helping Thomas up together.

"I have regained some strength... I can go back on my own!" Doma pushed the two of them away bravely, shook his body a few times, and barely stood still. "My weapon...!"

"It's really troublesome... I should have known I wouldn't have made it." Owen complained, picking up the puppet that Doma dropped in front of the wooden sign. He still remembered Doma's reminder and didn't read the content on the wooden sign.

There was a sound of hurried running, followed by a heavy step. Doma, who had regained some strength, jumped high and landed on the path with her feet. But her momentum did not dissipate, and she threw herself uncontrollably towards the outside of the swamp -
