Prologue

There was a "pop" sound.

A thin figure jumped into the river, causing a splash of water.

The owner of the figure seemed to be a boy of thirteen or fourteen years old. He was dressed gorgeously, but half of his body was stained with blood. As soon as he entered the water, his legs stirred up and he swam down the river to the bottom.

Boo hoo hoo…

Arrow after arrow shot from behind with a threatening sound, piercing the water one after another.

The sharp arrows, with their remaining power, quickly chased towards the young man, making cuts on his cheeks, arms, thighs, etc. The blood instantly dyed the surrounding water red. Fortunately, he did not hit any vital points.

The young man clenched his teeth, used his hands and feet together, tried his best to squeeze out the last bit of strength from himself, and dived desperately towards the bottom of the river.

The water flow nearby suddenly became turbulent, and a strong undercurrent wrapped around his body, instantly carrying him several feet away.

The young man was not surprised but overjoyed, and swam quickly in line with the undercurrent.

The rain of arrows from behind continued to chase him, but when he got there, he was too weak to catch up. He was washed away by the undercurrent and could no longer pose a threat to him.

The young man in colorful clothes secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but without any relaxation in his movements of hands and feet, he quickly dived to the bottom of the river and continued to move forward.

The further he can escape, the more likely he is to escape.

In the blink of an eye, he walked half a stick of incense under the water, and there was no movement behind him.

But after being underwater for so long, he was almost able to hold his breath to the limit. There seemed to be thunder in his chest, and his head was swollen, and he was about to risk coming up for air.

However, the surrounding undercurrent suddenly became several times stronger, and a loud splashing sound could be heard under the water. The young man was unable to steady his body and was swept out.

The sound of the rushing river in front was louder, like a water dragon circling, forming an undercurrent vortex dozens of feet in size.

Many jagged rocks stand in it, like the teeth of a giant beast, tearing apart and swallowing everything.

The young man in colorful clothes was shocked. Although his water ability was good, he was seriously injured and was about to run out of breath. He didn't have much strength anymore. If he was sucked into such a huge undercurrent vortex, he would definitely die.

In panic, he hurriedly thrust his hands into the soil below, trying to grab something to steady himself. His right hand hit something hard, which seemed to be a rock.

The young man exerted force with his ten fingers, and his figure caught in the torrent stopped slightly.

However, the object in his hand was not strong, and before he could completely stabilize it, it fell off the mud at the bottom of the river. His whole body was swept away by the undercurrent whirlpool, and he hit a black rock with a loud "bang".

The young man could no longer hold on, and a mouthful of blood mixed with large bubbles spurted out, and blood gushed out from multiple arrow wounds all over his body.

At this moment, he felt that all the bones in his body seemed to be falling apart, his mind was getting more and more dizzy, and his breath had been released, and he had no strength to resist anymore, and he was about to be completely swallowed by the huge whirlpool.

A ball of blue light suddenly lit up from his right hand, illuminating the seabed within a few feet. The originally turbulent undercurrent vortex suddenly subsided and disappeared silently.

Everything around him also became silent at this moment.

The young man in fine clothes vaguely felt as if a cool feeling was injected into his head. He was refreshed and his feeling of shortness of breath was relieved by much. He suddenly looked at his right hand in surprise.

Vaguely, the glowing object was exactly what was picked up just now, it seemed to be a simple green incense burner the size of a bowl.

The blood flowing out of the wound on his right hand was like a strand of thread surrounding the incense burner and quickly seeping into it.

Just as the young man was about to take a closer look, the green light on the incense burner suddenly erupted.

His mind felt like a heavy blow, much more powerful than when he hit the rock. At this moment, strange pictures began to swirl in his mind.

The torn sky, the devastated earth...

Under the bloody sun, the west wind stirred up thousands of miles of wild sand, and a huge snake-like creature covered with sharp thorns and claws twisted its body, tumbling up and down, and large lightnings gathered around it...

A half-naked, huge figure covered with strange tattoos was tied to a cliff soaring into the sky. His eyes were closed tightly, and two tears of blood had dried up...

The stars in the sky were shattered in an instant, and the moon was dimmed. It seemed that there was only endless darkness left between the sky and the earth...

These images flashed through the young man's mind without leaving any trace.

Before any thoughts could arise in the young man's mind, he instantly lost consciousness.

The green incense burner turned into a ball of green shadow, blended into his right arm, and turned into a light green mark...
