Chapter 50 Military War Department

After a simple inspection, the watchman took Rhode into the castle.

The castle is brightly lit, and staff can be seen hurriedly coming and going everywhere.

They are all dressed in the same uniform, with cyan cloaks and dark green robes. The only difference is the mark on the collar and the color of the robe.

Rhodes followed the watcher to a room in the middle of the second floor of the castle.

The room is not big, and the decoration is very simple. The surrounding walls are covered with various maps. If you look carefully, they are all maps of the royal city, with different sizes and proportions. Some are just partial maps, and some are even just like construction drawings.

.

In the middle is a larger mahogany long table, with three people sitting behind the long table.

I know one of them, Rhodes.

One of the four chief judges of the House of Internal Affairs, the red-haired Iron Mask, Manolo Bana.

The watchman bowed respectfully to the three of them and said, "Lord Meso, Lord Keyes, Lord Manolobana, and the patrol team from the Iron Cross Block heading to the sewers have already arrived."

Manolo Bana stared over like a hawk.

A middle-aged man with green hair sitting next to him took a long puff of cigarette and asked:

"Is he the only one?"

The person on duty said respectfully: "Yes, Lord Musso, others have died or are being rescued. The handling of threats and the pursuit of doomsday cultists are also in progress."

Mosuo tilted his head slightly.

"Go back and report any new information in a timely manner."

The person on duty bowed again and retreated.

The door was closed and the room was quiet for a moment.

"Sit."

Mosuo pointed to the chair next to him and spoke in a calm tone, as if he was looking away from everything.

"Don't be nervous, we just want to ask you some questions. Let me introduce you. I am Musso, the Chief of Defense of the Royal City Army War Department."

"This is Chief of Defense Case from the Outer City."

A burly fat man nodded to him. Although he tried to be friendly, his face was full of flesh and blood that could still scare a child to tears.

"This is Master Manolobana..."

Iron Mask interrupted him coldly: "No introduction is needed, we are old acquaintances."

Mussol looked at him in surprise.

"Do you know each other?"

Iron Mask sneered: "Of course I know him. He is the only survivor of the destruction of the Hongshi Village relocation team. Oh, and now he is also the survivor of the Doomsday Lesson Plan in Iron Cross Block. What a coincidence. Can you explain it? Why are you always the only one?

Survived?"

His words were aggressive, but Rhodes was not afraid.

During the questioning during the day, he had already won the support of the three chief adjudicators, and he also knew that this was not just a dispute over the facts of the case, but also seemed to involve a battle over some lines.

Then, he only needs to set his stance, and there is no need to be afraid of him.

"You're not right."

Rhodes counterattacked directly.

"The others are not dead. They are just injured and comatose and are being rescued. When they wake up, they will naturally confirm my words. You directly believe that I am the only survivor. Do you plan to take the opportunity to assassinate them and then put all the blame on them?

On me?"

Iron Mask's face turned as livid as Iron Mask in an instant. He slammed the table and shouted angrily:

"How dare you slander a chief judge?"

Rhodes asked back: "Didn't you slander me first? Why do you directly think that I am a doomsday cultist?"

Iron Mask sneered: "Just because I am the chief judge, it is my prerogative to make presumptions about suspected criminals. What power do you have?"

Rhodes said loudly: "It is the duty of every Trorian citizen who loves fire and light to dig out and clean up the evil anti-human doomsday cultists!"

He suddenly raised his hands and shouted:

"Everyone has the responsibility to protect our country and fight against doomsday cults!"

To be honest, this self-created slogan is a bit embarrassing, but the two defense ministers don't think so. Musso and Case both had smiles on their faces, and they also felt that Manolo Bana was a bit excessive.

"Lord Manolo Bana," Musso said, "Let's get to know the situation first. Maybe we can find some clues and catch the escaped doomsday cultists."

Although the anger in Manolo Bana's heart was about to explode, he also knew that it would be useless to be angry at this time. The little bastard actually occupied the moral high ground first. He could not oppose the fight against the doomsday cult. This was Troli

Anyone who touches the red line of Anwang City will die.

"Humph, there's no point in just talking."

Manolo Bana sneered and sat down.

"Only actual evidence can explain everything. Those who are guilty will not escape punishment after all."

Meusso coughed: "Tell me the story in detail, don't miss any details."

Rhodes thought for a moment, went through the matter in his mind, and then he felt confident and said:

"Today is my second patrol mission. Just like yesterday, the Chief of Defense of the Iron Cross Block assigned me, Raistlin, Egger, and Caramon to a team, between White Flower Street, Stone Street, and Fifth Square.

Patrol."

Rhodes continued in chronological order.

He had clear thinking, tight logic, and clear organization. He explained the cause and effect of the matter clearly, and he did not miss anything in detail. The two defense ministers nodded repeatedly, and even Manolo Bana

There is some uncertainty in the eyes.

As things developed, the three of them were all focused. They couldn't even breathe as they heard the twists and turns of the incident. Every crisis and reversal gave them an immersive feeling, as if they had gone back decades.

They were still young and weak when they first stepped out of the academy.

When they heard that the black priest had used mind control to turn the situation upside down, the two defense ministers were equally angry and anxious.

They laughed again when they heard the black priest's declaration of eating shit.

It wasn't until Caramon betrayed him for the last time that the Black Priest was seriously injured and escaped, that the two defense chiefs heaved a long sigh of relief.

Musso smiled and said: "Little Rhodes, don't worry, your three good friends will be fine. Please believe in the Healing Order and the Church of the Soul, they have never disappointed anyone."

Big guy Keith even hammered his chest to the point of banging.

"Little Luoluo, that hateful black priest can't escape. I will definitely catch her and crush her to death!"

This title was so disgusting that it made Rhodes feel as if his heart was filled with fat, and he was unable to speak for a while.

Manolo Bana also remained silent and did not speak.

Meursault glanced at him and asked, "Do you have that profane ritual medium on you?"

"In."

Rhodes took Caramon out of his arms and gave him the misty crystal ball, then took a step forward and handed it to him.

Keith tapped his temple, turned on his spiritual vision, and said disappointedly: "Why didn't I see it?"

"Idiot!"

Musso cursed.

"How can you see if your spiritual vision doesn't even reach 9?"

Case squinted at his old boss: "Can you see it? Mr. Chief of Defense Staff."

Musso waved his hand: "I don't want to look at such dirty things. Let the people from the appraisal department come over."
