Chapter 3 Galactic War

Chu Di was sitting at the dining table of the Ding family, holding a bowl of Yangchun Baixue Noodles in both hands. He was thinking about how to go to the military academy as per his mother's request. Suddenly, he heard some movement outside the entrance door. He couldn't help but be a little surprised at the speed at which this couple bought wine.

It's fast enough.

Unexpectedly, the person who walked in was a boy of similar age to himself. He was very handsome and a little taller than himself. He was nearly 1.9 meters tall, but his figure was thinner because of it. Like most boys of this era, he was slightly taller than himself.

Thin and weak.

The boy was stunned when he saw Chu Di sitting at the dining table, but then he screamed strangely: "You are my mother's nephew, right? I heard that you beat up the security guard at the gate of the community? You can! But the security guards at the gate are not

Too bad doesn't mean anything. If you can defeat those retired special forces soldiers, Brother Chao will hang out with you from now on."

Living under someone else's roof, Chu Di felt that he had to be polite to the young master of the family, so he stood up and said hello: "Hello, brother Chao, my name is Chu Di. I didn't fight with the security guards. I just broke free when they arrested me."

Brother Chao changed his shoes and walked to the dining table and said: "My name is Ding Junchao. I am seventeen this year. If you are younger than me, you should call me Brother Chao. Where did you go to Wu Chu? How much energy and blood are you?"

Chu Di shook his head: "What is Wu Chu? I never went to school. I went to Changbai Mountain when I was five years old. I just came back today. I don't know how much energy I have."

Ding Junchao suddenly looked disappointed and said: "So you are from the mountains. No wonder you don't know what Wuchu is. Wuchu is the martial arts junior high school. Since you have never been to Wuchu, you must not have been to Wuxiao. So

Are you saying that you are the proud disciple of a worldly master?"

He said "Extraordinary Master" in his mouth, but his face showed no respect for the "Extraordinary Master" at all. Suddenly he took a deep breath and asked in surprise: "Is this bowl of noodles cooked with bone broth?"

?Why does it smell so good?”

Without asking Chu Di whether he agreed or not, he put the noodle bowl in front of Chu Di under his nose. Then he looked happy and said, "Well, this noodle is so delicious. I'll eat it first."

After saying that, he grabbed the chopsticks placed on the bowl and started eating the noodles. While he was devouring the noodles, he was full of praise: "Is this still my mother's craftsmanship? Well, it's definitely not. This is a takeout, right? That's not right. It's near Central Park.

Where can I find such a good noodle shop?”

Chu Di did not explain, but quietly watched Ding Junchao eat a large bowl of noodles, and then asked: "Brother Chao, do you know how to go to military academy without spending money?"

As if he heard the stupidest question in the world, Ding Junchao slammed his chopsticks down on the table, pushed the empty bowl in front of him back to Chu Di, and then pointed at Chu Di's big glasses and asked: "What do you want?"

Going to a military academy? Your eyes are like this and you still want to go to a military academy?"

Chu Di said patiently: "I'm asking how I can go to military school without spending money if there is no problem with my eyesight."

Ding Junchao suddenly laughed, as if he had heard a funny joke, "You don't have to spend money to go to a military academy? Why do you go to a military academy without spending money? Are you looking for abuse?"

Chu Di didn't understand what Ding Junchao meant and continued to ask: "Even if I'm looking for abuse, can I go without spending money?"

Ding Junchao said: "Of course it's impossible! Unless you can get a scholarship from the military school. But you haven't even attended Wuchu or Wuxia Primary School, and you certainly haven't taken the entrance examination. Who can give you a scholarship without grades? You won't even receive a scholarship."

There’s no chance of abuse!”

After hearing this, Chu Di couldn't help but feel a little irritated and said, "So, I still have to find a job to make money first."

"Looking for a job? Making money?" Ding Junchao's eyes lit up.

Chu Di said helplessly: "Yes, I can't live and eat in your house for free, right?"

When Chu Di went down the mountain this time, he originally thought that he would return to his mother, live in his own home, live on his mother's salary, and then follow his mother's arrangements to attend the military academy.

He kept his master's teachings in mind, to be a filial child, and to obey his mother's arrangements. Who would have thought that not only would he not see his mother after he came back, but he would also lose his home. If he doesn't make money, who will he rely on to support himself? With Uncle Ding and Aunt Mi.

What? Even if others are willing, I would be embarrassed to accept it.

So no matter how much he wants to obey his mother's arrangements, he must solve the problem of survival. He has to choose between survival and filial piety, and he can only choose survival. How can he be filial if he cannot survive?

"It's good to find a job, can you play Galaxy War?" Ding Junchao's interest suddenly became high.

Chu Di shook his head: "What is Galaxy War Chronicles?"

Ding Junchao looked at Chu Di in surprise, as if looking at a monster, and asked again: "You don't even know the Galaxy War Chronicles? Do you have a personal terminal?"

Chu Di said with some uncertainty: "No, right? Does the laptop count?"

Ding Junchao laughed loudly: "How many years ago was the laptop computer an antique? Are you still using it? Personal terminals are the mobile phones of the past. Now they are made into biochips and installed in the brain. If you don't have a personal terminal, no wonder you don't

I know about Galaxy War."

Chu Di asked slightly embarrassed: "Then tell me, does the Galaxy War have anything to do with making money?"

"It's so relevant!" Ding Junchao immediately started to popularize science: "Galaxy War Chronicles is a cosmic war simulation game. People in the entire solar system are playing it. Three Six One Zero..."

Ding Junchao said a password and at the same time reached out and pointed at the TV wall. A TV picture immediately appeared on the originally white wall. The picture showed a deep night sky, and a rectangular metal ship was slowly moving in the night sky.

Ding Junchao began to explain: "Look, this is the space carrier of our Earth Federation! Now it is heading to Orion. The mission is to recover a star system in Orion, but we will be ambushed by the enemy on the way..."

Following his "but", the picture on the wall suddenly changed its content, and a huge triangular thing replaced the space carrier just now, "This is the enemy's mothership, they are here to ambush."

When the scene changed again, it was still the rectangular mothership of the Earth, but the camera was zoomed out a little further. A crystal light shone on the belly of the mother ship, and hundreds of black dots flew out from this crystal light.

"This bright light is the fighter module of the mothership, and what is ejected is our space fighter group. Their mission is to bomb the enemy's penetration ships, transport ships and supply ships..."

The screen changed again, and another bright light opened on the side of the mothership, and a centipede-shaped space battleship moved sideways out of it. "This is the frigate module. What comes out is our landing ship, which can be attached to the enemy's cruiser or destroyer.

Capture their capital ships."

The next moment, the camera turned to the airspace between the motherships of both sides. Our fighter planes were already fighting fiercely with the enemy's fighter planes. The space was full of blue and orange beams. From time to time, fighter planes from both sides were hit by each other and exploded.

It turned into a ball of dazzling white light, and then shattered into metal debris, floating in space.

Immediately afterwards, the screen switched to the centipede-shaped landing ship. Under the cover of interceptors, the landing ship avoided enemy bombers and gunboats, and successfully "sticked" to the deck of an enemy destroyer.

The laser device cut open the deck of the enemy ship and connected the two ships. Soldiers wearing metal suits jumped into the hinterland of the enemy ship and started a hand-to-hand battle with the oncoming mechanical warriors.

"Did you see it? These are the special forces of our Space Force. They are all warriors with a minimum of three stars or above, and their combat effectiveness is absolutely powerful..." Ding Junchao's explanation followed the screen.
