Let’s talk about the country Khotan

PreviousBack to directoryNext
I finally understand why no one wants to write about the Western Regions at this time. There is so little information!

These official positions in the Kingdom of Khotan are almost blinding, and they were finally found in the Book of Jin. Gaozu Ji San recorded that Khotan congratulated the envoy and paid homage to Shi Jingtang in the list of congratulations.

We can also get a glimpse of some of the political systems in Khotan at that time, which were very Chinese!

What is even more lamentable is that among the thirty-seven people from Khotan who were recorded in the official history, almost all of them were Han Chinese.

Among them are many high-ranking military attachés such as Taiwei and General Huangmen who hold the highest military and palace confinement powers, as well as civil servants such as the imperial edicts and the Imperial Academy.

I'm afraid that the country of Khotan is more Chinese than we thought, and there must be a lot of Han people.

Unfortunately, he was destroyed by the Kara Khanate's invasion, and his religion and race were changed.

At that time, the Central Plains Song Dynasty was forced by the threat of Xixia, and because of its lack of force, until the last moment when Li Shengtian's descendants died and the country was destroyed, there was still no soldier to support it.

Ever since Li Shengtian, Khotan has longed for the arrival of heavenly troops from the Central Plains to clear away the evil atmosphere in all directions, but until the end, they failed to wait.

On the contrary, the Gaochang Uighurs and Guiyi Army and even the Shazhou Uighurs and Qiangtang Tibetan tribes tried their best to support them, but they were unable to save their lives.

When the Kingdom of Khotan was destroyed, it took 859 years until Duke Zuo Wenxiang led his descendants from Huxiang to defeat Aguba and regain the great rivers and mountains of the Western Regions, before the style of the Han and Tang Dynasties returned to the homeland of our ancestors, which makes people sigh.

!

This is also the biggest reason why Tiger wanted to write this partial history. The descendants of Emperor Li Sheng stayed alone in the Western Regions for two hundred years, safeguarding Han culture, and were sincere until their death. We cannot forget them!

We should also let everyone know that the Western Regions belong to the people of all ethnic groups. In terms of indigenous people, we Han and Tibetan people of all ethnic groups in the Central Plains are the real indigenous people of the Western Regions.

Originally, I should have waited until the release of these words to express my acceptance speech.

But today I re-read a few of the complete works of Duke Zuo Wen and Xianggong of the later Jin Dynasty and the Records of the Envoy to Khotan by Gao Jujie of the later Jin Dynasty. There are some things that I don’t want to say, so let’s just treat this as Tiger’s acceptance speech! I won’t say it when it is released.

Finally, I would like to ask for everyone’s support, mainly subscriptions when it is released. Your support will give Tiger more motivation to write this book and reproduce the style of the Guiyi Army and the Khotan Kingdom, the two lonely loyalists in the northwest.
