Chapter 3 Where to Go

Going through a door from the lobby is the sleeping room. There are two large bunks lined up on both sides of the wall. Each row can sleep a dozen people. Since there are not many guests, the six of them occupy one side and the other guests occupy one side.

The third brother slept near the door, and the driver slept near the window. The two brats, one on the left and one on the right, sandwiched Zhou Wen and Xu Dacheng between them.

Zhou Wen didn't pay attention to the little thoughts of the third brother. He had a brief exchange with Xu Dacheng on the way to calm his mood. Dacheng fell asleep as soon as he went to bed, as quietly as a baby.

This guy is like this. Once Zhou Wen makes up his mind, he becomes careless. Coupled with last night's troubles and the injury of his friend today, he is indeed very tired from the inside out. Thinking of this

Here, Zhou Wen reached out and helped Dacheng pull the quilt.

Zhou Wen was not in the mood to sleep, because there was a major discovery that made Zhou Wen uneasy. The problem was that the pain in his chest had not gone away.

I got a small hole in the back of my head last night, and it was still bleeding this morning. Now it feels almost healed, except for a scar. I haven’t taken any medicine, and there are medicines that can heal the scar in just one day. Damn it.

Is this? Zhou Wen thought to himself.

He couldn't help but reach out and unbutton his clothes. He had been forced to change out of his original student clothes on the road. Now he was wearing double-breasted clothes worn by ordinary people. He looked down at his chest and was immediately stunned.

I saw a bead looming on his chest, and it was still glowing slightly. "Buddha bead!" Zhou Wen almost shouted out, the feeling of ecstasy came from the prayer bead.

Zhou Wen stretched out his hand to touch it, but felt nothing. It was as if the Buddha bead was integrated into the flesh and blood of his chest. His soul that traveled through another time and space was probably brought by the Buddha bead, Zhou Wen thought.

He quietly observed the beads and found that the slight glow seemed to be a kind of energy. This energy gave people a warm feeling from the inside out, and the injured area on the back of the head felt the most obvious, even a little warm.

Looking at it, I unconsciously let my mind go in...

A space gradually appeared in front of him, and six familiar objects appeared in front of him, "Talking device." Zhou Wen almost shouted again, and he backed out with a shock. He once again felt the beads with his mind, and soon saw them again.

Got to that space.

The space is a cube in size, and six communication devices are lying there quietly, just like his brothers. Zhou Wen's nose is sore again.

Zhou Wen tried to take out the intercom and stared at one of them. Just thinking about it, suddenly a intercom appeared on his chest. This one belonged to him. Zhou Wen only touched it lightly to confirm that it was his.

judge.

Unknowingly, tears flowed out. The past of mercenary Zhou Wen and the faces of his brothers flashed through his mind like a movie. After just a moment, Zhou Wen quickly gathered his mood. Now is not the time to be sad.

Zhou Wen tried to send the intercom back to space again, and found that it had to be placed around the prayer beads on his chest. He put it in as soon as he thought about it. After practicing it many times, he finally turned his thoughts back to the present.

It is now the 18th year of the Republic of China, that is, 1929. The future direction of history is clear to me. The warlords' melee, the encirclement and suppression of base areas, the Anti-Japanese War, the War of Liberation, the establishment of the Republic, etc. are all clearly remembered. I should remember them clearly.

Where to go?

Joining the National Army? He was immediately rejected. Just kidding. I am a citizen of the Republic who was born in New China and grew up under the red flag. I also joined the People's Army. How could I join the National Army to fight against my own people?

But now is not the time to join the Red Army, and it is impossible to go to the base area without incident at the moment.

Or should we build our own team first? A mercenary group? Yes, a mercenary group. Zhou Wen suddenly thought about it. He decided to develop a small force first and wait for the time to mature before considering others.

At present, a mercenary group is the most suitable. Thinking that there are still 6 communicators that are far beyond this era, I silently thought in my heart: "Brothers, I will lead you to fight the Japanese."

After clarifying the direction of the future, now you can use the warlord army to practice your skills and find talents, and then wait for an opportunity to leave and go home to develop. This is using the shell to lay eggs.

Is this the first talent...? Zhou Wen turned to look at Xu Dacheng. This guy was sleeping soundly, with a silly smile on his face, but he didn't know that his future had been naturalized by someone. Zhou Wen felt hey.

A smile.

After clearing his thoughts, sleepiness came over him. Zhou Wen turned around and fell into sleep. In his sleep, he faintly felt like there was a little mouse running around in his body. He felt warm and refreshed both physically and mentally.

In the early morning of the next day, Zhou Wen and the others got up early, bought some more flatbreads and steamed buns in the store, and set off on their way.

Several guests who stayed in the hotel together yesterday also set off together within a few minutes of each other. Zhou Wen saw that there were four of them. They had no carts and only drove three donkeys loaded with packages. It seemed that they were businessmen.

Zhou Wen and Xu Dacheng were still sitting in the carriage. Feng Dian had been sleeping in the open for several days, and Xu Dacheng was still sleepy-eyed and fell asleep again on the swaying carriage.

However, Zhou Wen found that he felt a little strange today. He seemed to have particularly good eyesight, and the surrounding scenery was not as clear and bright as usual. The lines on the leaves of wild flowers and weeds on the roadside could be seen.

Hearing is also different from the past. Even the slightest movement dozens of meters away can be clearly transmitted to my ears.

"I'm afraid this Buddhist bead is extraordinary!" Zhou Wen thought. He also vaguely felt that this might be the change brought about by the hot breath that ran through his body like a mouse in his sleep last night.

After walking for about an hour, the early morning sun made Zhou Wen drowsy.

Suddenly, a palpitating feeling went straight through his forehead like an electric current. Zhou Wen subconsciously grabbed Xu Dacheng, turned over, and the two of them rolled out of the car.

Immediately afterwards, the sound of "bang---bang---" gunshots and the "swish-swish" of the wind passed through the head. Only the miserable howls of several merchants behind were heard one after another.

Xiong San shouted: "We've been bandited! Run." He ran towards the woods on the side of the mountain.

Zhou Wen reacted instantly and immediately dragged Xu Dacheng, who was knocked dazed by the fall, and ran towards the woods with Xiong San. He heard gunshots ringing out from behind, and "swish-swish" bullets flew over his head.

The bandit's voice came from afar: "Stop, if you try to run away again, we'll all be killed."

Another scream came from behind, "It's the fatter braised bug." Zhou Wen judged as he ran.

Xu Dacheng next to him was really frightened. He was dragged along by Zhou Wen in a daze. His head was blank, tears were streaming down his face, but he was speechless.

Although Zhou Wen was nervous, he knew from experience that if he wanted to shoot a few of his people in the woods, he would basically have to rely on a blindfold. While running, he felt his physical condition. It felt surprisingly good.

Dragging Xu Dacheng and running through the woods, shuttling left and right, jumping forward and back, he was extremely flexible. His speed, sensitivity, and body coordination were all far beyond normal. He felt even better than when he was a mercenary.

However, when I heard Xu Dacheng's breathing getting heavier and heavier next to me, I also felt that the body he was dragging was getting heavier and heavier. The gunshots and yelling continued from behind. I knew that things would get worse if this continued, so I tried my best to drag him.

Xu Dacheng caught up with Xiong San in a few strides.
