Chapter six hundred and fourteenth trench

"What a passionate and good bear." Kahn looked at the burning giant bear Tibers and smiled against his will: "Aren't you afraid of me Anne? I've scared many children to cry like this."

"You are not afraid of Tibers, why am I afraid of you?" Anne smiled on her face, and she looked sweeter under the reflection of the flames.

"The little girls we met before were also not afraid of us." Kasha remembered the little girl they met when they returned to the ground. For the children's unformed values, there is no absolute good or evil in this world.

Kahn looked around and saw that Tibers had left the Juvasque boar, and moved his heavy steps behind Anne, leaving behind a charred but generally complete body.

As a magically condensed flame monster, Tibers did not belong to a real creature, so flesh and blood were not within its recipe. Kahn, who was planning to take it alone, found an excuse and tried to send Anne away to avoid letting her see the indescribable devoured void.

"Annie, go away with your sister, I'll clean up the wild boar that is blocking the way."

"Annie, come with me." Kasha immediately understood and naturally took over the topic, and successfully took away Annie, who had no opinion.

The girl jumped away, and the monster followed her clumsyly, emitting a terrifying high temperature, melting the snow around her.

"Annie, let your good friend go back, or it will cause an avalanche again later."

"But Tibers finally came out, and he wanted to play with me..."

"There will be a chance in the future." Kasha said. They took Anne with them just to train her control over her magical talent. Tibers will definitely have a chance to play in the future, but now may not be the time.

They had just entered Freljord, and they were not clear about anything around them. They were not suitable for such a swagger in a crisis-ridden environment.

Although Anne was not very happy, she still followed Kasha's advice. The flames around her gathered, and the corresponding flames on Tibers' body gradually faded.

The Shadow Bear's breathing slowed down, his shoulders collapsed, his limbs shrank, and the thick tendons exposed to the flames turned into stitches for sutures, and finally turned into the tattered teddy bear, held in Anne's arms.

"Anne, this second skin is the secret of my brother and sister. Just like your Teebos will transform, don't tell others casually."

"Oh." Annie looked at her bear without much expression.

I don’t know if I really remembered it, Kasha sighed silently.

Kahn told her that teaching Anne a child with an unformed view of her can only teach her how to deal with people and things in a straightforward way. But she was really anxious when she could not see the results in a short period of time.

It was almost time, and she took Anne back to her original place. The wild boar corpse blocked on the mountain road had been cleared by Kahn. If it weren't for the melting snow, there would be no sign of two giant beasts fighting here.

"Stay going, this journey is almost over." Kahn's skin armor had shrunk back. He put on his scarf again, looked at the darkening sky and urged him.

Anne was carried on his back, and she showed no fear of Kahn, who had just shown another form. They walked down the mountain road, and when they reached the foot of the mountain, the bleak sun was already approaching the horizon.

Kahn looked around and observed the surrounding terrain.

There was a frozen glacier in front of them, and there was a sparse forest near the bank. The too wide spacing of trees could not stop the cold wind blowing by Ferrelljode throughout the night, and it was not suitable for overnight stays.

He looked further away and accidentally found two parallel trenches next to the frozen riverside. Because they were very hidden in harmony with the earth, they could not see it at first sight.

"That seems to be a temporary trench built by the Noxus army, go and take a look."

The road at the foot of the mountain is much easier to walk because there are no cliffs on both sides to cover it. The sunlight during the day shines on the open terrain, and does not allow the snow to accumulate too deep. You can step on the thick ground with one foot.

“It feels so good to be down-to-earth.”

Anne also walked down the ground, and her small snow boots finally came in handy. They walked straight to the riverside, crossed the spike fence, stood on the edge of the trench and looked down, but what they saw made Kahn frown.

Various types of arms were scattered throughout the trenches, covered with mud shields, heavy plate armor, as well as axe blades and machetes.

There must have been an urgent battle here, with some of the soil dyed dark red by dry blood. In addition to these Noxus equipment, some bone spears were inserted into the snow walls of the trench, and the polished bone armor was chilling in the moonlight.

Bone spears and bone armor, obviously these are all equipment of the Frelljords.

Kahn's face looked a little ugly. He said to Kahsha, who was also watching the inside of the trench, "We have no choice, and there is no ready-made cave nearby. We can only stay here for one night."

"Well, I know." Kasha nodded. They did not have the ability of Taliyah and had many choices.

"Change this place, at least it doesn't seem that bad."

As he said that, Kahn took materials locally, crossed the spears and used them as a bracket in the middle of the trench, and hung all the shields he picked up to form a shield wall on the front and back. After Anne and Kahsha jumped in, they covered their heads with shields to block the cold wind blowing on the ice field.

"It works quite well." Although the corners are a little air leaking and making a whimpering sound, it is much more comfortable than standing outside and blowing the air, at least not in the open air.

While Annie didn't see it inside, Kasha moved to Kahn and sat down, and quickly kissed him on the cheek as a reward.

She should have been next to Kahn and shouted: "Annie sat on her sister's lap, be careful not to push her head."

Anne sat on Kasha's lap and was held in her arms. Karn didn't say anything, breathing the cold air, wrapping the warm scarf around the hand she and Kasha were holding.

In the dark and narrow space, the three of them snuggled together tightly, and the distance between their hearts seemed to be much closer.

...

The next day, the sound of horse hooves in the distance woke Kahn up.

He opened his eyes, and the temperatureless sunlight shot in through the gaps of the shield, slightly illuminating the interior of the trench. He saw the shield above his head shaking, and the shaking snowflakes fell on his face and the coldness appeared.

“It snowed last night?”

"Are you fighting outside? Why are you so densely sounding horse hooves?"
