About the sixth sense
In Kurumada's Saint Seiya story, the sixth sense, seventh sense, and eighth sense are all quoted from Buddhist scriptures.
Therefore, the name is very special.
If you don’t believe it, you can go to Baidu and check it out.
The sixth sense is actually ‘consciousness’.
However, the saints with the sixth sense can already use the small universe (silver and bronze are the sixth sense, and the seventh sense is gold), which is obviously different from ordinary people.
If it were called "consciousness" like ordinary people, I feel it would be too ordinary.
Compared with the seventh sense 'manas consciousness' and the eighth sense 'alaya consciousness', the style is even worse.
In order to highlight the uniqueness of this sense, I took the words "root" and "jing" from the Buddhist explanation of the six senses and renamed the sixth sense as "root-jing consciousness".
Although it still feels a little less flavorful, at least in terms of word count, it is close to the three-character Seventh Sense, hahaha.
Of course, in order to highlight the differences of the sixth sense, I also added some special definitions (see the following chapter for details).
In fact, I personally think that my sixth sense setting is quite interesting (proud).
