Chapter 689: Buddha Yanshan?(1/3)

Kutuo Temple.

Also known as Nalanda Temple, Nalanda Temple, and Alanta Temple.

It is the largest temple in Kutuotian and the highest school of Buddhism in Kutuotian. It is located in the Kingdom of Magadha on the Kutuo River.

The Kingdom of Magadha is one of the Thirteen Infinite Buddha Kingdoms in the Kutu Heaven.

It is also one of the four great kingdoms of Kudu heaven.

Its capital city is called Rajagaha.

More than a hundred miles north of Rajagaha, there is a garden with an elegant and quiet environment called Amara Garden.

It is said that the Buddha once preached the sermon here for three months, leaving behind the miraculous relics such as the monastery where he preached the sermon, the hair-claw pagoda, the bird-leaving pagoda, and the Avalokitesvara Buddha.

Over time, the present Kutuo Temple was established.

Kutuo Temple is large in scale, with a collection of more than ten million volumes of books. Buddhist scholars have emerged in large numbers throughout the ages, and at its peak, millions of monks gathered here.

It is not only a holy place for studying Buddhism, but also an important holy place for cultivating Buddhist practice and Buddhists.

Here, it has not only become a holy place for preaching and learning Buddhism, but also an important place for studying causes, statements, medicine, astronomy and calendar, craftsmanship, agriculture, etc.

It is the center of Buddhism in Kutuo Heaven.

Buddhist holy place.

Look from a distance.

Kutuo Temple is like a huge crimson city hidden in the green forest.

There are long corridors around the huge city. Most of the buildings in the city are ten stories high, and they are all made of dark red bricks and white stones. Each floor is more than ten feet high.

The beams are made of wooden boards, and the roof is tiled with bricks.

On the four sides of each temple in the city, there are nine monks' rooms built on each side. The rooms are square in shape and about one foot wide. There is a high door in front of the monks' room and there are windows, but no curtains are allowed to allow them to look at each other, leaving no room for a moment of privacy.

.

The back wall of the monk's room is the outer wall of the temple, with windows leading to the outside.

The wall is about three to four feet high, and there are life-sized statues on it, which are exquisitely carved and beautiful.

Yan Shan also discovered that the roof, eaves, and courtyard floor of Kutuo Temple were all covered with special materials. After asking the old monk about his sufferings, he learned that the covering material was made of broken bricks the size of walnuts and clay.

become.

After it is covered and rolled flat, it is then coated with lime soaked for many days, mixed with hemp and hemp leather, and covered with grass for three to five days. Before it is completely dry, it is polished with talc, and then coated with a layer of terracotta.

juice, and finally paint it, and it will be as bright as a bright mirror.

The temple ground treated in this way.

It is solid and durable. It has been trampled on for tens or hundreds of years and remains as strong as ever.

Yan Shan held a writing brush in his hand and recorded what he saw and heard one by one, thinking that one day he would bring it back to the Zhou Dynasty to let the world know about the Kutuo Heaven behind Tianbi Mountain.

Kuda Temple is divided into eight courtyards, where you can study the Eighteen Parts of Mahayana and Hinayana, Vedas, explanations, statements, medical prescriptions, magic, etc.

The eight courtyards are divided into monastic areas and teaching areas.

The monastery area is composed of roughly similar courtyards, with hundreds of them in total.

Surrounding each courtyard are narrow and cramped monk rooms. There are stone tables, wells and kitchens in the courtyard.

Each courtyard has a corridor leading to the outside.

The teaching area has temples and pagodas.

Monks mainly study Buddhist scriptures in temples, and there are many pagodas scattered around.

These pagodas are divided into several floors, with exquisite carvings on the exterior. The niches in the turrets are carved with stories about the Buddha's preaching in Bodh Gaya, Rajgir and Sarnath.

Yan Shan recorded them one by one.

But in the past two days, he found that the old monk was always a little restless and seemed a little anxious.

"Master of Suffering, why are you so restless?"

Yan Shan asked curiously.

"The Buddha went through all kinds of suffering in the world and came back to save the suffering people. How can the poor monk's mind be calm?" The suffering elder looked to the northeast from time to time, as if expecting the Buddha to return as soon as possible.

Yan Shan was not very interested in Buddhism, but he was somewhat interested in what the Master of the Suffering was talking about.

As far as he knows.

The Buddha in the Kudā Heaven is equivalent to the saint of the Holy Path.

Is there really a Buddha who has returned?

This past half a year.

He also understood something about Kutuo Heaven.

It seems that after the saint went into seclusion, the Buddha in Kudua Heaven also went into seclusion and left Kudua Heaven.

If the Buddha really returns now, does it mean that the saints all over the world may also return?

This made him quite looking forward to it.

However, he always felt that something was impossible...

but.

Everyone in Kutuo Temple was extremely excited, waiting for the Buddha's return. Countless monks even left the temple and went on the road to welcome the Buddha's return.

Many old monks have not stepped out of Kutuo Temple for several years or decades. But in the past two days, many old monks have walked out of Kutuo Temple to welcome the return of the Buddha...

So he had to believe it.

In Kutuo Temple.

There are quite a few old monks in the Bodhisattva realm, and there are actually dozens or even hundreds of them.

Very scary.

This is only what he knows. He doesn't know how much he doesn't know.

However, according to his observation, he found that most of the monks in Kutuo Temple do not know how to fight, or even do not know how to fight. In other words, these monks in the Bodhisattva realm have nothing but Dharma, but they do not know how to fight, let alone how to kill.

It seems that there are countless monks who have never killed a living being in their lives, let alone killed anyone.

In Zhou Tianxia.

This is unimaginable.

Although there are many old Confucian scholars in the Zhou world, and even in Confucianism, who do not know how to fight, let alone fight, they have at least learned a lot of Confucianism or magical powers.

When in danger.

He also knows how to destroy Confucianism and supernatural powers.

But many monks in Kutuo Temple may really just wait to die when they encounter danger.

He also heard that some monks in the Bodhisattva realm died in this way, without knowing how to resist, let alone killing them...

The first time he heard it, he was stunned and stunned.

This is simply unimaginable.

And at this time.

Yan Shan took a writing brush and notebook and recorded everything in Kutuo Temple as he walked.

In Kutuo Temple.

There are more than a hundred pulpits every day, and sometimes there are thousands of them. Under the pulpits sit countless listening monks...

Generally, one needs to be at the Vajra realm or above to be able to step onto the platform and preach the Dharma.

However, in the past two days, there were fewer pulpits in Kutuo Temple. There were only dozens of pulpits left. Most of the monks went to welcome the Buddha back.

And at this time.

On the way back from the Buddha, there were already crowds of monks and common people.

Everywhere the bullock cart arrives, there will be a grand pilgrimage, with countless Buddhists kneeling down to welcome the return of the Buddha.

After experiencing all kinds of suffering in the world, for the monks in Kutuo Heaven, there is no longer suffering.

This is the Buddha's Dharma.

but.

Jiuge and Qingmang were stunned.

They could see the enthusiasm in the eyes of monks and common people, and saw countless people kissing the road that the bullock cart walked.

If it were not for the Bodhisattva-level monks such as Elder Kuci who guarded the ox cart, the crowd of monks and people on the road would have overwhelmed the ox cart.

At this moment, around the bullock cart, in addition to Elder Kuci, there are also several Bodhisattva monks, all of whom are Bodhisattvas from Kutuo Temple. Although many Bodhisattvas in Kutuo Temple do not know how to fight, there are also many Bodhisattvas who, except for
To be continued...
