Chapter 690: Nirvana Without Leaving All Dharmas(2/4)

At this time, they vaguely understood why the abbot designated a Zhou person as a Buddhist disciple. It turned out that there was such a relationship.

Just being a disciple of the Great Compassionate Buddha is enough to be a disciple of the Buddha in Kutuo Heaven.

How bad can the disciples of the Great Compassionate Buddha be? One day, just like the Great Compassionate Buddha, he will go through all kinds of suffering and become a Buddha and return...

This made them admire the abbot's vision.

Could it be that the abbot already knew that Yan Shan was the disciple of the Great Compassion Buddha? Otherwise, why would he choose Yan Shan, who had no Buddhist teachings, to become the disciple of the Buddha in Kutuo Temple?

The disciples of Buddha in Kutuo Temple are also equivalent to the disciples of Buddha in Kutuo Heaven.

He has the highest status in Kutuo Heaven.

Although the status of a Buddhist disciple is not as high as that of an abbot, in terms of status, the status of an abbot is not as noble as that of a Buddhist disciple.

One is a Buddhist and the other is a monk.

Naturally, the Buddha is noble.

This is just like Feng Qingyan in Zhou Tianxia. After all, Xusheng belongs to the "holy position". Even the leader Wangchen has to call Feng Qingyan a saint when he sees him.

So after Yan Shan spoke in anger, the old monks in the hall did not dare to stop him. But Yan Shan still could not walk in, and was still blocked by the Buddha's light in the hall, which made him even more angry.

This scene surprised the old monks in the hall, and they all looked at the monk sitting at the head.

The leading monk is an old man with a sad face, who is the abbot of Kutuo Temple.

The name of the Dharma is Kutu.

Although the old monks in the main hall did not dare to stop Yan Shan anymore, Master Kutuo did because he was the abbot of Kutuo Temple.

He has the responsibility to teach and teach, and he is also the teacher of Buddhist disciples.

"Everyone who is a Buddhist, whether at home or a monk, the first important thing when entering Buddhism is to receive ordination." Abbot Kutuo said softly at this moment, without looking back at Yan Shan, his eyes kept falling on Feng Qingyan on the lotus platform.

, "The precepts are of great use and can produce all kinds of extraordinary merits, just like today. It is not the poor monks who prevent the Buddha's disciples from entering the temple, but the Buddha himself who blocks himself. The day the Buddha does not obey the precepts, he will not be able to enter the temple.

In the main hall, the poor monk also hopes that the Buddha will receive the ordination as soon as possible..."

"I, Yan Shan, am a disciple of the Great Zhou Holy Way of the East, and I am not a disciple of Buddhism. Abbot, please don't make a mistake."

Yan Shan said coldly, he didn't admit that he was a Buddhist at all, so how could he become a Buddhist?

At this moment, he did not force his way in. After all, he could not break in, so he motioned to Feng Qingyan on the lotus platform and said: "The person on the lotus platform is Yan Shan's senior brother. Today, Yan Shan wants to ask why my senior brother is doing this.

Like? My senior brother is a false sage of the holy way. He has never practiced Buddhism, how can he become a Buddha? Aren't you afraid of admitting the wrong person and making others laugh?"

"We are Buddhist disciples, how can we recognize the wrong Buddha? Buddhists, please don't joke."

An old monk said displeasedly.

"Buddha, if you give up the precepts and learn the holy way, you will have no wings to fly, and no boat to cross." Abbot Kutuo sighed, and now turned to look at Yan Shandao: "I hope you, the Buddha, will remember the precepts.

, this is the supreme bodhicitta."

"absurd!"

Yan Shan shouted angrily.

Abbot Kutuo was not angry and continued: "The precepts are the root of all the merits and virtues of all actions. They are the root of all actions on the right path to Buddhahood. These precepts can eliminate all great evils. The so-called seven views and six attachments, the mirror of the true Dharma, now serve as the basis for all Buddhas. The root of precepts; the so-called three doors of acceptance, which capture the good dharma and precepts; the so-called eighty-four thousand dharma doors, which capture the precepts of all sentient beings; the so-called compassion, joy and equanimity, and the transformation of all sentient beings into peace and happiness; the so-called ten paras of law..."

Abbot Kutuo's voice was like a yellow bell, vibrating Yan Shan's soul, making Yan Shan's soul shake a little.

It seems that it finally turned into several golden characters and was imprinted on the soul.

"You must first take the dharma precepts."

But at this time.

The Junzi Cauldron in Yan Shan's mind suddenly burst out with dazzling white light, shattering the golden characters, causing him to slowly wake up.

Abbot Kutuo sighed when he saw it.

In the past six months, Yan Shan has been unwilling to take the ordination, and he has not forced him. That's why.

The Buddha cannot force him.

If you force it, it will be counterproductive.

He didn't know that Yan Shan had a gentleman's tripod in his mind, but a Buddhist was always a Buddhist, how could his identity be simple?

Even if a Buddhist does not have the Dharma, he will still resolve all adversities in the dark.

This is the Buddha.

How could he say "I have a predestined relationship with the Buddha" just casually? He indeed saw the virtue, kindness, compassion, and suffering of the Buddha from Yanshan Mountain...

That’s why he said, “I have a predestined relationship with my Buddha.”

Therefore, he is a "Son of Buddha".

And at this time.

The monks inside and outside the hall all looked at Yan Shan in surprise, as if they did not expect that the Buddha could resolve the abbot's seal.

If a Buddhist disciple can dissolve the abbot's Buddha seal, it means he is a true Buddhist disciple.

Otherwise, how to resolve it?

After all, the Buddha can resolve all difficulties in the dark.

"May I ask the abbot, what does this mean?"

Yan Shan said coldly.

"Oh, the poor monk is worried."

Abbot Kutuo shook his head and faced the Great Compassion Buddha on the lotus platform with his eyebrows lowered and his eyes lowered. At this moment, the old monks in the hall did not look at Yan Shan anymore. They all turned to face the lotus platform with their eyebrows lowered and their eyes lowered.

At this time, Yan Shan had nowhere to fire, so he had no choice but to endure it and said: "Excuse me, abbot, my senior brother is now lifeless, but there is no life force at all. What kind of state is this? My senior brother is the most virtual person in history. The Saint is the best gentleman in the world and will never die easily..."

Abbot Kutuo pondered for a moment and then said softly: "Human beings are empty and imageless, and all things are nothing but my own creation. Those who understand all things to become oneself are the only Buddhas! Why?"

"If there is no reason, there is no Buddha. If it is not the Buddha, then it is the Buddha. The Buddha is not different from the principle. Therefore, where should we seek Prajna? Shanji said: Prajna cannot be sought in form, nor can it be sought apart from form. He also said: To see dependent origin is to see the Dharma, and to see the Dharma is to see the Buddha. This is the result of the indistinguishability between things and myself."

"Therefore, the perfect person can hide mysteries in the absence of signs, hide the destiny of the underworld in the instant, combine the six directions with the mirror center, and come and go to form the body. The past and present are connected, and they are always connected. If you are poor at the end, you can't compare them with two. The great balance is the great balance. It’s called Nirvana. The Sutra says: One can achieve Nirvana without being separated from all dharmas. It also says: All dharmas are boundless, so Bodhi is boundless. In order to know the way to Nirvana, there is a wonderful understanding. The result of the wonderful understanding is originally oneness, but things are not different from me. , I am not a foreign object, and my understanding of things and myself is bound to the infinite. If I advance, I will not be the first, and if I retreat, I will not be behind. How can I end up in the middle? The goddess said: How long will it take to be liberated in old age?"

When Abbot Kutu finished speaking, he closed his eyes and said no more.

The monks outside the main hall were obviously stunned for a moment, and seemed to have some understanding.

However, Yan Shan couldn't understand it at all. He had never studied Buddhist scriptures at all, so how could he understand it?

Many of what Abbot Kutuo said were Buddhist terms, and he could not explain them literally.

At this moment, he had no choice but to look at Elder Kubu, hoping that Elder Kubu could explain what the abbot meant.

Although Elder Kuang did not look at Yan Shan, he seemed to know that Yan Shan was looking at him, so he explained softly: "What the abbot said is that people who have reached a certain state must have the experience of emptiness, tranquility, and spiritual ignorance.

, then I will not care about all the things in the world. All things flow out from my heart, and all things are unified with me. Only the Buddha can do this! Why do you say this?"

"Because if you don't master this truth, you cannot become a Buddha. On the contrary, if you are not a Buddha, you cannot know this truth. It is precisely because you master this truth that you can become a Buddha. Therefore, Buddha and truth are inseparable."

"No Buddha can depart from this truth! This is just like what Prajna Contemplation says about the non-duality of form and mind, phase is separation, emptiness is color, and color is emptiness. From the perspective of dependent origination, all things are empty, and emptiness is

All things are dharmas. When you see the Buddha, you see the Dharma. When you see the Dharma, you see the emptiness. When the nature of all dharmas is empty, you become the Buddha. You forget the two things and the self. They are neither one nor different."

"Therefore, the Buddha who has access to the realm of space always explores mysteries in the omens, hides the future in changes, and unites the east, west, north, and south in one mind, and the past and the future become one. It has been the same throughout the ages, and there is no difference between the origin and the end.

.To unite the vastness of things with my mind is Nirvana.”

"This is what is said in the sutras, 'Nirvana without being separated from all dharmas'. And because all dharmas are boundless, the pursuit of liberation is also endless. The way to Nirvana lies in maintaining the 'wonderful agreement' of understanding the wonderful principles. With the 'wonderful agreement'

', it is to know the truth that all things are one and the same. There is no essential difference between all things and me. I am the same in essence as all things. Things and I are mysteriously connected, and Wuji is their final destination."

"Nirvana means advancing without going forward, retreating without going back, having no beginning or end, and the beginning and the end are not in between! The goddess said: The liberation of the elderly also has no beginning and end."

After the elder suffering pain finished speaking, he pondered for a moment and then said: "Buddha, do you understand?"

Yan Shan frowned tightly, still not quite understanding. He always felt that the old monk in front of him always liked to play up mysteries and would not explain it directly. He pondered for a while and said: "What the abbot means is that my senior brother is now in Nirvana."

status?"

The suffering elder smiled and said nothing.

"May I ask, Master of Suffering, what is nirvana?"

Yan Shan asked.

"The state of perfection and silence is Nirvana." Elder Kuang said with a smile, "And in Nirvana, there will never be all the troubles, pain, asceticism, inaction, great freedom, neither birth nor death in life..."

Yan Shan thought hard, and it seemed that his senior brother's current state was perfect and peaceful, without birth or death. However, he was still unable to confirm whether his senior brother was alive or dead, so he had to ask: "In this case, when can my senior brother wake up?"

?”

Elder Suffering didn't speak any more, just shut his mouth and eyes and sat quietly.

At this time, Jiu Ge walked up cautiously and asked with confusion on his face: "Mr. Three, what are they talking about? What is nirvana? What is neither birth nor death?"

"What the abbot said is that senior brother is currently in the state of Nirvana." Yan Shan pondered and explained, as if he already believed what the abbot said, "The so-called Nirvana is a complete and silent state, that is, great freedom.

Birth and immortality…”

After hearing this, Jiu Ge had more questions on his face, looking like he didn't understand.
