Chapter 1 Nine Young Masters

The muffled thunder rolled over the clouds and crushed all the water vapor out. It took only two breaths from the first drop of rain to the downpour of rain.

In this brief moment, Li Yunxin saw a corner of the eaves in the distance with the lightning. A black-green chiwen was lying on the eaves, and glanced at him in the heavy rain. So he covered the sword wound that was wide on his arm and stumbled over.

If there were anyone in the house, he might have saved his life. If there was no one, it would be better to be his burial place tonight than to the wilderness.

After his clothes were torn into strips of cloth by plants and trees, Li Yunxin fell into the door.

Even on such a wet and dark rainy night, there was still a fog of dust rising from the ground. The big house was drowsy, filled with the smell of rotten mold for years and the smell of blood on his body.

No human voices, no lights.

Before he fell in, he knew that it was a dilapidated temple.

Li Yunxin gasped on the ground like a wild beast for a while, struggled to get up, rubbed his hands and feet against the long-abandoned incense table with his hands and feet, and turned around and sat down to the door.

He felt that he might not be able to escape the pursuit tonight.

But it is better to sit and die like this than to be killed from behind.

The lightning lit up again. Li Yunxin gasped and looked up at the incense table with difficulty.

The temple worships an unknown statue of god, with paint eroded and most of its body sank. He sighed, reached out to pat the statue's legs, and smiled bitterly: "There is no incense in the wilderness, I think you are very miserable."

As soon as he finished speaking, he heard the sound of cloth shoes that had been sucked in full water falling to the ground.

Two Taoist priests rushed in from the rain curtain, holding two fingers wide swords. The rain gathered from the sword body to the tip of the sword, and made a series of sounds on the bluestone floor tiles.

"Super it." said the Taoist priest, "I will spare you."

The lightning crossed the sky again, and Li Yunxin saw the faces of the two people clearly. At the age of eighteen or nineteen, there was even childishness between his eyebrows.

Li Yunxin sighed in his heart. His fate was too realistic and cruel. Shouldn’t it be that Yunyou’s master was loving talent when he saw him, so he would make him prosperous?

At this point, it shouldn’t be that some gods and monsters in the mud womb in this temple show their saints and save themselves!

He gritted his teeth and sighed: "Why is this? You are not saying that those who practice Taoism should pay attention to the supreme love--you can't let me go?"

The Taoist priest stretched his eyebrows slightly and lowered his voice: "It's okay. As long as you tell me where you hid that thing."

Only by believing in him will there be ghosts.

Li Yunxin just wanted to delay time and restore some strength. He always wanted to die tonight, so he wanted to pull one, so he would not lose money.

But the other man saw through his mind and handed the sword forward. The sword edge was only one hair away from his throat: "I said it, I will save you a life. If I don't say it, I have various means to ask you to speak. If you know the truth-"

When he said this, he paused slightly. Because he found that Li Yunxin's eyes stagnated, as if he had found something amazing behind them. But the Taoist priest immediately smiled sarcastically: "You really do it like this trick in front of me-"

This time he has not finished speaking.

But it wasn't that he intentionally paused.

Because his head suddenly rolled down from his neck, splashing blood all over the ground. Another Taoist priest hesitated for a moment because of the scene - he didn't believe it was true.

It was not until he saw a huge palm with a blue-gray hard armor leaning over from behind and holding his companion's body that he suddenly widened his eyes, turned around and stabbed a sword backward!

Another lightning light came up with his sword, and he saw clearly the thing behind him.

Or, I could see clearly one of the eyes of the thing behind me. A huge blood-red eyeball was half his height. There was a slender black pupil in the eyeball, staring at the person in the room, reflecting his frightened face in the lightning.

The Taoist priest's long steel sword was stabbing in this eye.

But you can't move forward in a slight way.

The monster outside the temple waved his claws casually, and his long sword became fragments. The Taoist wanted to abandon the sword and escape, but the other claw penetrated and grabbed him. The Taoist began to scream and tried to break free from the giant claw. Such a move seemed to annoy the owner of the eyes. As soon as the claws were used, the Taoist's head exploded like a watermelon.

He didn't shout anymore.

Once the screams stopped, there were only overwhelming rain and thunder.

Li Yunxin widened her eyes, stared at everything in front of her, and forced herself not to make any sound.

The huge eye blinked, then moved away. Its claws held the two headless corpses tightly and retracted into the rain curtain.

Li Yunxin saw a huge existence swimming in front of the temple. The night and heavy rain plated its hard skin into blue-black. But he couldn't even see the shape of the thing clearly - it was too big!

And now he can't even be a gaze in the leopard.

After two or three breaths, the thing disappeared from the door.

Li Yunxin waited for a while, but still didn't dare to get up. He was afraid that the sound he made would lead the monster back. But the next moment, he realized how stupid his decision was.

A black shadow walked into the door in the light of water.

Black Shadow was dragging two things in his hand, rubbing against the bluestone floor, making a silence. But the rustling sound soon turned into a more viscous and muddy sound, and Li Yunxin smelled the suffocating smell of blood.

He knew what those two things were - they were the headless corpses of two Taoist priests.

The visitor dragged the body to him and looked at him, making a deep, cold laugh: "You can do late-night snacks."

Li Yunxin, who was occupied by panic in his heart, realized that this thing was most likely something that was transformed from the giant thing outside the door just now, and he was not planning to kill him for the time being.

But he didn't dare to run away. In the face of the terrifying unknown power like gods and demons, he felt that the wisest choice was to stay here and wait for the opportunity.

As for the timing... he didn't dare to think about it.

The black shadow sat cross-legged in the middle of the lobby, laughed strangely for a while, and said, "Come in the middle!"

Li Yunxin was stunned for a while and realized that he was talking about the incense table he leaned against. He quickly gritted his teeth and endured the pain, moved the incense table full of dust into the middle, and then quickly took a few steps away from the thing.

The black shadow reached out to the incense table and a fire rose up.

Li Yunxin finally saw the man's face with the firelight - he was stunned again.

It’s not because the other party was terrifying and hideous, but because he was too ordinary!

It was obviously the face of an ordinary handsome young man, not the big ghost who looked like a melon-skinned person as he imagined!

But what the other party did next quickly realized that it was just a piece of human skin covered by the terrible thing.

The handsome man reached out and pulled his hand on the body, then tore off one of his arms. Then he began to roast the arm with the fire lit up on the incense table.

Soon, a scent that made Li Yun feel disgusted was spreading in the big house. The man smiled and looked at him, put his arm to his mouth, opened his mouth-

The corners of his mouth grinned to the ears, revealing two rows of sharp teeth like razors inside.

He swallowed half of his arm in one bite, and the unripe blood and human oil flowed between his lips and teeth. He chewed the bones until they were clattering, and said, "You boy is very brave."

"A person with courage is fat and good fat, so he cannot eat it like this. He needs to steam it slowly over low heat, then slice it finely and dry it. Wait until it is cloudy and make some wine and vegetables."

Li Yunxin gritted her teeth and prevented herself from shaking too hard. He mustered up the courage, suddenly looked up and stared at the other party's eyes, and asked, "What the hell are you...?"

The young man pulled one arm and baked it, narrowed his slender eyes and smiled, "Are you afraid?"

His eyes rolled again: "You call me Jiu Gongzi."

Li Yunxin suppressed his beating heart and said tremblingly: "I was chased by these two people all the way... Thank you for your help from the Ninth Prince."

The Ninth Young Master opened his bloody mouth and smiled strangely: "No need to thank you, I always want to eat you tomorrow! I can thank you with your body."

Li Yunxin gritted her teeth, took a deep breath, and said, "Young Master Ninth saved me tonight, it is your fate. If you eat me again tomorrow, wouldn't this fate be a pity?"

The young man laughed strangely: "You stupid, are you worthy of being connected with me? You are just one person-"

When he said this, he suddenly stopped laughing. Not only did he stop laughing, but he suddenly frowned, as if Li Yunxin suddenly became a monster, but he was a mortal.

The Ninth Master stared at Li Yunxin for a while, blinking: "What a wonder, you have an interesting fate."

He shook his head, looked at Li Yunxin again, and said lazily: "Then let's save your life for the time being."

The cold wind outside the house blew in with water vapor, making a whimpering sound, and the fire light flashed and dark. Li Yunxin's heart also beat violently with the fire light.

He survived temporarily.

But he knew that the reason he could survive was perhaps because his "destiny" was really interesting, or maybe because of the murderous and cannibal monster "Jiu Gongzi", he thought his attitude was interesting.

Perhaps what he often likes is the kind of person who trembles and kneels down and begs for mercy!

He was afraid that the terrible monster would change his mind, so he forced himself to move to the fire and sniffed off a piece of clothing from a corpse.

The Ninth Master looked at him in surprise and didn't say anything.

Li Yunxin then wrapped the sword wound on his arm with his fingers and teeth. Then he flipped through the body and pulled out a few pieces of sorghum rice cakes from his waist bag.

The cakes are wet and soft - not only are they soaked in rain, but also some blood.

The Ninth Young Master stared at him with interest with his slender and dangerous eyes.

Li Yunxin picked up the Taoist sword that had fallen to the ground before, skewed the cakes, and put them on the fire like the Ninth Prince.

After the pancake was slightly burnt, Li Yunxin picked one from the sword and took it to her mouth and took it to her mouth for a bite.

With a slight crack, the burnt aroma and dough filled his mouth. But he tasted something else, unique - it was the taste of human blood.

He chewed carefully without changing his face and swallowed it.

The Ninth Young Master suddenly slammed the high five and laughed: "What a wonderful person! I have seen a human demon who likes to eat the same kind of flesh and blood, but it is not as interesting as you!"

Li Yunxin felt that he had figured out his temperament, so he forced himself to say, "I have never heard of human devils. The Ninth Master is knowledgeable, I must-"

He said halfway, and suddenly a thunder erupted above his head, and the ground seemed to be shaking.

The thunder seemed to have scared the Ninth Master. He put down the human flesh in his hand and stood up, raised his head and looked up. After looking for a while, he suddenly frowned, and then turned into a dark and gloomy wind and rushed out of the door.
