Chapter 79: What's hidden in your chest?

The cave is 3 meters high and 2.5 meters wide. There are traces of excavations on the ground and walls. Wires connected from the outside are hung on the walls, and a light bulb is installed every ten meters or so to provide lighting.

There were tracks laid on the ground. Not long after walking, the two heard a noise. A mine car was being transported along the track. It was not filled with ore, but excavated soil.

Fifty meters deep underground, the terrain is narrow and the oxygen is thin, so people will obviously feel uncomfortable breathing.

But neither Xu Cheng nor Qiu Gongyue felt this way. Instead, they felt that their breathing was fresh and natural, and they even vaguely felt a light cool breeze blowing from the cave.

After going tens of meters deep, another hole appeared in front of them, and several workers were digging soil with small shovels.

There is another hole on the opposite side, the track goes deep into it, and there are two soldiers at the entrance.

However, they were sitting together playing handheld devices. When they saw Xu Cheng and Qiu Gongyue coming in, they raised their heads and asked in confusion: "Why did you get in?"

Xu Cheng had a sullen face but did not speak. Qiu Gongyue coughed lowly, and her originally moving voice changed to a deep male voice: "Let us go in and take a look."

The two unsuspecting soldiers did not have any suspicion. They did not even ask. They just glanced at Akimiya Yuehou and said teasingly: "Sakata-kun, why does your belly grow up to your chest?"

The other one laughed rudely.

Xu Cheng: It’s hard to collapse.

Qiu Gongyue has no expression, but her emotional control is still very strong.

At most, she could silently sentence the soldier who dared to tease her to death.

Passing the guard post easily, the two of them entered a deeper cave. As the distance went deeper, the cool breeze blowing in their faces became more obvious.

Immediately afterwards, their eyes suddenly opened up, and a huge underground cavity appeared in front of their eyes. It was at least as big as half a football field, and its shape was similar to that of a basin, showing a terrain that was wide at the top and narrow at the bottom.

High-power construction site lighting illuminates the space brightly. A large number of rectangular and square holes have been dug into the ground at the bottom of the cavity. Nearly a hundred people are excavating inside, and work sheds and military camps are also built in the corners.

This is not so much a construction site as a large-scale archaeological site.

There was no turbid air in the entire underground cavity. Instead, it was filled with fresh air, which made Xu Cheng take a deep breath subconsciously.

However, Qiu Gongyue immediately dragged him to hide, and then pointed downward: "Look over there."

There was obvious surprise in her voice.

Xu Cheng turned around and looked over, and saw a door at the bottom of the cave.

The door is about seven meters high and looks like stone. The two door leaves are carved with complex reliefs, much like the lower half of some kind of snake-like creature.

There were two slightly shorter statues standing on both sides of the door - Xu Cheng thought they were statues at first glance, but upon closer inspection he realized they were not.

They were two corpses with hand-held weapons and full body armor. The armors still maintained their full appearance, but the corpses inside had turned into skeletons.

However, the height of these two corpses is about five meters. Where did these giant humans jump out from?

Maybe it's fake, but is it necessary to make it so lifelike?

No wonder Qiu Gongyue was surprised. Even Xu Cheng himself suspected for a moment that he had arrived at a fantasy movie set.

"New Moon..." he whispered, "Do you think this is an ancient tomb?"

"Maybe, but it definitely has nothing to do with Japan."

Qiu Gongyue reminded: "Don't be in a daze, we haven't touched the real core yet."

The two giant corpses have been surrounded by steel scaffolding, but several dark green military tents have been built in the middle of the stone gate, blocking the lower half of the stone gate.

There were two armed soldiers standing guard at the entrance of the camp, but they did not relax their vigilance as much as outside.

Xu Cheng asked: "How are we going in?"

"No, the last level will definitely be very strict. You can't get past it by just making excuses."

Qiu Gongyue observed from a high position and found that many of the people who were excavation work in the pit were wearing white coats.

After they unearthed some items, they would collect them and send them to the military tent under the stone gate.

This allowed Qiu Gongyue to find a way to get in.

"follow me."

In a rectangular pit, six or seven people were digging with shovels and brushes.

Whenever scattered fragments of suspected antiquities are found, they will be sent to two young men, who will collect them and later send them to the camp for testing.

A faint smell of orange suddenly appeared in the pothole. Everyone felt dizzy and fell down one after another.

Xu Cheng and Qiu Gongyue held their breath and jumped down the pit. About ten minutes later, they had put on new fake faces, put on white coats, and walked towards the military tent in the middle of the stone gate.

Qiu Gongyue lowered her head, holding instruments containing various scattered ancient objects in her arms to cover up her too obvious chest.

Although the two soldiers at the entrance of the camp were not lax in discipline, they could not be said to be overly vigilant, and they easily allowed the two researchers who frequented the camp to enter.

In this way, the two of them successfully sneaked into the camp.

The interior area is not small, and is divided into many compartments. You can see that each compartment is filled with incomprehensible instruments or computers, and many people are busy inside.

Xu Cheng and Qiu Gongyue walked straight in, and a fat man with glasses suddenly walked out of a compartment in front.

He glanced at the two of them and said in surprise: "The test is outside, what are you doing in here?"

Qiu Gongyue said calmly: "We think these things are very special and want to show them to the teacher."

The term "teacher" is too common in Japan, and the man with glasses did not doubt it. He waved his hand and said: "Professor Fujiwara is not free now. Please send the things for testing first."

Qiu Gongyue and Xu Cheng looked at each other, turned around and walked out, trying to fool this guy first.

However, the next moment, the man with glasses stopped them and pointed at Qiu Gongyue: "Wait a minute, your chest is bulging, what is hidden in it?"

Xu Cheng: It’s hard to break down.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with her appearance and acting skills, but the size of her chest is exposed.

Qiu Gongyue cast a sharp look at Xu Cheng who was suppressing a smile.

Xu Cheng winked at her: "Don't worry, I have received strict training and will never laugh no matter how funny it is."

Did you smile less before?

Qiu Gongyue said angrily: "Do it."

The man with glasses felt his eyes dazzled, his hands had been locked behind his back, and his mouth was covered.

Xu Cheng leaned close to his ear: "Tell me, where is Professor Fujiwara?"

The bespectacled man’s eyes flashed with unyielding color, he wanted me to betray Professor Fujiwara, no way!!

The military camp was cut into more than a dozen compartments, and the innermost compartment was the most secretive and the highest security level.

There is a password installed on the door, and no one except Professor Fujiwara and a few senior executives are allowed to approach.

Professor Fujiwara was working in the cubicle with his two assistants when he suddenly heard the sound of the password door being opened. He looked back and saw two young researchers walking in and closing the door smoothly.

Professor Fujiwara suddenly wrinkled his gray eyebrows and scolded in a stern tone: "Who let you in? And you."

He pointed at Qiu Gongyue: "Your chest is bulging, what is hidden in it?"

"Ha ha ha ha!"

Xu Cheng couldn't hold back any longer and burst out laughing.

Qiu Gongyue ignored him, threw a throwing knife with a wave of her hand, and knocked down the assistant who was about to press the alarm.

Professor Fujiwara opened his mouth to shout, but Akimiya Yue had already arrived in front of him, stretched out his hand and put the knife on his neck: "Professor Fujiwara, you don't want to die either, right?"

Professor Fujiwara's eyes darkened: "Did you kill someone?"

"Not yet, your assistant was just knocked unconscious by me with the hilt of the knife."

Qiu Gongyue threatened in an indifferent tone: "But if you don't cooperate, people will die, including yourself."

Professor Fujiwara looked at these two guys who obviously had bad intentions, and suddenly sighed: "No matter which faction you belong to, I don't want to be involved in your internal struggle. As long as you don't hurt innocent people, I won't hide anything."

"Thank you for your cooperation."

Qiu Gongyue asked about the purpose of this mission: "Where is this place? What are you doing here?"

"Now that you are here, you still don't know anything?"

Professor Fujiwara was a little surprised. He ignored the knife Akimiya put on his neck, walked to a console, reached out and pressed a button: "Behind this wall is the truth you need."

With the sound of the machine running, the wall in front slowly rose, and a gust of cold wind blew out.

Xu Cheng and Qiu Gongyue looked up and were stunned.
