Chapter 1 Delicious magic like never before

As the sun sets, two figures, one big and one small, are walking on Diagon Alley carrying large and small bags.

This is a very strange combination because their body shapes are so different.

The adult carrying most of the things seemed to be more than three meters tall, almost a giant.

The child was small, pitiful and skinny.

"Harry, I'm so sorry. I should have come to see you last month. But Dumbledore had something to do and needed me to run errands."

'Giant' said apologetically.

"No, no, no, Hagrid, you have given me enough surprises. I am very grateful."

The kid called Harry said with a smile.

Before today, he was just a poor man who had lost his parents and stayed at his aunt's house.

He was bullied by his cousin every day and was even locked in a closet.

The arrival of Hagrid and the Hogwarts admission notice changed everything, opening a door to the magical world.

All this was so incredible that when he thought about it now, he still felt like he was in a dream.

"But, can I ask?" Harry said again, "Dumbledore, what did that Mr. Headmaster ask you to do?"

"It has something to do with a dark wizard's stronghold. Dumbledore discovered it two months ago and reported it to the Ministry of Magic. As a result, two months later, the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic not only failed to investigate the matter clearly, but also destroyed all the evidence.

They were all destroyed. Dumbledore asked me to go to the Ministry of Magic to complain, but unfortunately, there will probably be no results."

Harry nodded.

He actually didn't understand what Hagrid was talking about. He had never heard of dark wizards and Aurors.

But he was not prepared to ask any further questions.

After all, he had asked enough questions today, and he was worried that Hagrid would be annoyed if he asked him any more questions.

The two quickly returned to the Leaky Cauldron.

Although this bar is shabby, it is the entrance and exit of Diagon Alley to the Muggle world.

Harry still remembered the scene when he entered here earlier today.

At that time, all the wizards in the bar rushed to shake hands with him and respectfully called him the savior.

He had never experienced such treatment before, which made him both scared and excited.

But the Leaky Cauldron looks different now than it did earlier in the day.

Most of those enthusiastic customers had left, and the Leaky Cauldron seemed empty now. Except for the bar owner Tom, who was still behind the counter, there were only two children around Harry's age, a man and a woman.

The two of them were leaning on the counter eating.

Among them, the boy ate very carefully, chewed slowly, and had a straight waist. His whole person exuded a sense of gentleness and elegance.

Girls, on the other hand, are completely on the other extreme.

She was like a prehistoric beast that had been hungry for hundreds or thousands of years and was frantically attacking the steak on the plate.

Frankly speaking, this eating style is really rude.

But coupled with the girl's delicate face and cute movements, it makes people feel disgusted.

On the contrary, it's a little cute.

Even watching her wolfing down the food, Harry felt his appetite was aroused.

"Gulu——"

There was a rumble in Harry's stomach.

This made Harry lower his head in embarrassment.

Hagrid smiled understandingly.

"We still have time to eat something." Hagrid said to Tom, "Tom, bring us some food."

"Oh! Is our savior hungry?"

Old Tom knocked on the counter and said fiercely to the boy and girl, "John, business is coming, go to work quickly!"

Hearing this, the girl made no move, while the boy put down the half-eaten food, got up and went to the kitchen.

After a while, he came out again holding a tray full of all kinds of steaming food.

"Please use it, gentlemen."

As John spoke, he placed the food in front of Harry.

This made Harry a little confused.

He thought the boy and the girl were both guests of the Leaky Cauldron.

But judging from the current situation, they are clearly helpers here.

Looking at John and Michelle, he almost immediately remembered all the tragic stories about child labor that had been told in school (China also has a very tragic history of child labor).

A surge of anger surged from Harry's chest.

He liked this boy and girl very much. Although this was the first time they met, the temperament exuded by each other made him instinctively want to get close.

But now, these two people are being 'enslaved' by that vicious boss.

This made him empathize.

You must know that he was treated similarly miserably at his aunt's house.

"Old...boss!"

Harry mustered up the courage and said loudly, "You...how can you still employ child labor here? This is illegal!"

As soon as he said this, everyone in the Leaky Cauldron focused their attention on him.

Even the girl who was obsessed with cooking raised her head and looked at him in surprise.

This made him a little panicked.

But for the sake of the boy and the girl, he still mustered up the courage to look at the bar owner.

"Uh, Harry." Hagrid's voice suddenly sounded, a little embarrassed, "There are no child labor laws in the wizarding world."

Harry's expression froze and he looked at Hagrid in disbelief.

After being stunned for almost ten seconds, he blushed and continued to the bar owner:

"Then...that's not okay! Anyway, you can't bully these siblings! It's immoral!"

"Pfft!"

Old Tom couldn't help laughing.

The girl in front of the counter said angrily:

"I don't allow you to talk about Boss Tom like that. Tom is a good man. He lets us work here just to help us!"

Harry stopped talking.

He lowered his head with red eyes, feeling very aggrieved.

"Michelle, you can't be rude to your guests."

John stopped Michelle who wanted to say something more, strolled over to Harry and Hagrid and said, "Please forgive me, she is so outspoken and straightforward, which is very troublesome. But I think it is necessary to explain it to you.

.Boss Tom is indeed a good man. Just as Michelle said, he hired us in order to help us, a pair of orphans without relatives."

"Is...is that so? Are you orphans too?" Harry blurted out excitedly, but soon realized something was wrong and said awkwardly, "I mean, I'm an orphan too...I'm sorry, no offense."

mean."

As he spoke, Harry lowered his head again.

But unlike the previous grievance, what made him bow his head this time was shyness.

"Don't say that. Try my craftsmanship first. You won't be disappointed."

John was looking at Harry back and forth as he spoke.

He had already recognized it.

This is the protagonist of this world - Harry Potter!

And the giant next to him should be Hagrid.

Hearing this, Harry finally focused his attention back on the dishes in front of him.

Only then did he realize that although these foods were not exquisite enough, they exuded a deadly aroma.

Harry took a tentative taste.

Then, he couldn't stop anymore.

Seeing him wolfing down the food, Hagrid smiled from ear to ear.

John is laughing too.

But unlike Hagrid who was watching Harry smile, John's eyes were always focused on Hagrid.

To be precise, it's Hagrid's pocket.

He could clearly feel that an extremely pure magic power was constantly emerging there.

The most important thing is that the taste of this magic is more delicious than ever before.

John worked as a temporary worker in the Leaky Cauldron for two months and met hundreds if not thousands of wizards.
