Chapter 77 Stupid people(1/2)

"laugh--"

The invisible blade whizzed through Ms. Gray's chest.

But it failed to cause any harm to it.

Ms. Gray turned around in surprise and murmured:

"How dare you attack me?"

John did not answer, but continued to approach Ms. Gray with his wand in hand.

Seeing this, Ms. Gray said angrily:

"I am the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw! My mother, she founded this school! If it weren't for her, you would have no chance to receive magic education! And you white-eyed wolves, how dare you attack your benefactor?

Daughter? Who gave you the courage?"

As she spoke, Ms. Gray also floated towards John.

He even puffed up his chest and roared at John:

"Come! Come and kill me! I want to see if you despicable guys are capable of this!"

Seeing Ms. Gray's furious look, John frowned and said:

"Professor Dumbledore, are you sure she is the daughter of Ms. Ravenclaw? Why is that..."

Although John didn't finish what he said, Dumbledore still understood.

That word that John concealed is stupidity!

Dumbledore also had to admit it.

Ms. Gray had just brought up Ms. Ravenclaw's name to make matters worse, and now she was taking the initiative to get John to attack her. It did seem a bit stupid.

"This is absolutely true." Dumbledore said with a wry smile, "But John, I advise you to give up the use of force. Ms. Gray has died long ago, and she is now a ghost. You cannot let a dead person be hurt again.

"

"I don't think so."

John said calmly and took out Slytherin's locket from his arms.

"Hold her."

A creepy snake voice sounded from John's mouth.

Upon hearing this, the locket opened automatically, and the thick and sticky darkness inside quickly poured out and turned into a black python, flying towards Ms. Gray.

This time, the black python did not directly penetrate Ms. Gray's illusory body like the invisible blade before, but tied her up extremely smoothly.

"This...how is this possible?"

Dumbledore said in disbelief.

What happened before him was something he never expected.

"Nothing is impossible. Ghosts are not invincible. They also have energy in their bodies. It can even be said that it is precisely because of the existence of energy that they can continue to exist in the world.

And as long as a sufficient amount of special curse magic is used, the energy in the ghosts' bodies can be contacted and harmed, which is the source of their survival.

It just so happens that the Slytherin Locket in my hand can produce this special curse."

"So that's it!"

Dumbledore suddenly realized.

And at the same time.

Ms. Gray, who was tied up, no longer had the confidence she had before.

She was still struggling hard at first, but when she found that she couldn't break free no matter what, and the cursed magic emanating from the black python's body was still eroding her spirit body, she panicked completely!

"Are you a descendant of Salazar Slytherin? Oh my God! No! Don't do this!"

Listening to Ms. Gray's panicked shouts.

….

John took two steps forward and whispered:

"Then tell me about the crown."

Ms. Gray's voice stopped abruptly.

She stared at John's handsome face and the locket in her hand, as if she had remembered something, and her expression sometimes turned to hatred, and sometimes to regret.

But in the end, she still said in a hoarse voice:

"The crown is a treasure! My mother cast a spell on it, giving it the ability to increase the wisdom of others..."

"We already know this."

john hits

Broken road.

Upon hearing this, Ms. Gray trembled and said painfully:

"I wanted to be smarter and more famous than my mother. So... I stole the crown and fled Hogwarts with it."

John and Dumbledore looked at each other, not knowing what to say.

At this time, Ms. Gray, who was trapped in painful memories, obviously didn't care whether anyone responded.

She continued:

"They say that my mother never admitted that the tiara was missing. She kept pretending that it was still there. She even hid her loss and my terrible betrayal from the other founders of Hogwarts.

Later my mother became ill... very ill.

Even though I did something unfilial and unjust, she still desperately wanted to see me again.

So she sent a man to find me.

That man loved me for a long time, but I rejected him.

My mother knew that that man still loved me, and for my sake, he would never reveal that I had stolen the crown, and would find me and take me back at all costs.

This is indeed the case, he hid it from everyone and found me.

But something unexpected happened in the end...I refused to go back with him, and he became furious.

Barrow has always been a bad-tempered man. He hated me for rejecting him and was jealous of my freedom, so he stabbed me to death."

"Barrow...are you talking about, Bloody Barrow?"

As John spoke, a translucent figure with blood on his body automatically appeared in his mind.

He is Slytherin's resident ghost.

The Slytherins respected him.

This is not only a concubine. His appearance is really ferocious, but he is taciturn and always looks serious.

What's more, there are rumors that he may be a disciple of Salazar Slytherin.

"Yes, that's him." Ms. Gray said, lifting up her cloak, revealing a black wound on her white chest. "After he woke up, he regretted it so much that he picked up the weapon that took my life and committed suicide.

.

After so many centuries, he is still in chains because of his repentance... He deserves it."

In the last sentence, Ms. Gray's tone changed from vague to a bit angry.

It can be heard that just as Bloody Barrow still regrets it to this day, Ms. Gray also still hates Bloody Barrow.

However, John was not very interested in their love and hatred, so he nodded and said:

"What about the crown?"

"I heard Barrow stumbling toward me in the forest, so I hid it, and it remained there ever since. Hidden in a hollow tree."

….

Ms. Gray said, "To be more precise, it was in a forest in Albania. That place was desolate and remote, and I thought the only way to escape my mother was to hide there."

"Obviously," John said slowly, "you told Voldemort the same story, right?"

Hearing this, Ms. Gray closed her eyes in pain.

"I...I don't know...he...is very likable. He seems...seems to be understanding...sympathetic..."

John waved his hand and controlled the black python to retract into the locket.

Ms. Gray, who was free again, collapsed to the ground.

The conversation just now seemed to have exhausted all her energy.

John originally planned to apologize to Ms. Gray for his previous tough behavior.

After all, this was just a drastic move made in order to find the Horcrux as soon as possible and eliminate Voldemort.

Most importantly, he also respected Ms. Ravenclaw.
