341 Leisure Days in Houhai

Xia Hongjun and Chen Zhaodi began living together in this small courtyard in Yanjing.

Chen Zhaodi was called out early in the morning, and the two of them left the alley together, ran along the lakeside of Houhai Park, and returned home with buns and wontons for breakfast.

After dinner, Xia Hongjun began to organize the translation manuscripts of the Book of Songs in his study, while Chen Zhaodi took a basket to the vegetable market to buy vegetables and prepare lunch.

After lunch, they took a nap together, and after getting up, they learned to read books. At night, when the weather was cold, they would stroll on the streets of Houhai in the night breeze, or enjoy the cool under the osmanthus tree in the yard.

Life is simple and leisurely.

Chen Zhaodi likes this kind of life very much and is happy every day. More than ten days later, the girl suddenly said that she would go back to her hometown that morning.

"I have to go back and see my parents. My third sister graduated from high school this year and I don't know how she did the exam."

Chen Zhaodi's third sister is Chen Huandi, who was supported by Xia Hongjun to go to high school. According to Chen Zhaodi, her academic performance is also very good. This year's first choice for the college entrance examination was Yanjing Post and Telecommunications College Computer Major, right next to Yan Normal University.

"Ha, I didn't expect that that little girl was about to become a college student back then, and time passed so quickly." Xia Hongjun sighed.

Chen Zhaodi gave him a blank look after hearing this.

We have not graduated from college, but we have a home in Yanjing.

Xia Hongjun hoped that Chen Zhaodi would stay for a few more days. She would have to spend a few more months of her life as a monk when she left. She would go home for the New Year. She didn’t know if she could sleep together.

However, Chen Zhaodi was very determined, and Xia Hongjun could not pack her luggage that day and took her to the train station.

"Be careful on the way. I probably have left when you return to school. I have to go to Anxi to find something. I will write to you at that time. Also, when you go home, visit my parents. Don't say I want to go to Dingxi to teach." Xia Hongjun reminded.

He was afraid that his parents would worry.

In the eyes of Han Lakers, there was yellow sand everywhere, and there were places where poor beg for food.

Chen Zhaodi agreed one by one after another.

The girl wanted to take a hard seat, so Xia Hongjun bought a hard sleeper and sent her onto the train.

Since Xia Hongjun has returned to his single life and is too lazy to cook. In addition to three meals a day, he went out for a run in the morning, and every day he sorted out his translation manuscripts in the study room. Another week has passed, and it has reached the end of July, and it has finally been sorted out.

Looking at the neat manuscripts, Xia Hongjun stretched his waist long and finally finished it in almost a year.

Early the next morning, Xia Hongjun changed into clean clothes, walked out of the house with his schoolbag and took the bus to Yanda. He wanted to go to Professor Xu Yuanchong to check it out for him.

Professor Xu lives in the professor building inside Yan University. Xia Hongjun walked into the school. It was time for holidays and there were not many students on campus. He didn't go far and saw a girl wearing a red dress.

It's Yang Li.

After Yang Li graduated with a doctorate last year, she stayed at school as a lecturer and started her own business.

Yang Li didn't expect to meet Xia Hongjun. She was stunned and quickly rushed to him, questioning with a fierce look, "Xia Hongjun, do you still care about the poetry club?"

this.......

Xia Hongjun felt a little ashamed.

Since he was in his senior year, he has not come to Yan University to participate in the activities of the poetry club. In the next semester, he simply slapped his butt and directly calmed down for an internship, and did not say hello to Yang Li and the others before leaving.

Later, I received a letter from Yang Li, saying that he always didn't come to participate in the poetry club activities, so I went to Normal University and asked the people in his dormitory to find out that he had gone to the Northwest.

After returning, Xia Hongjun was busy, and later Chen Zhaodi didn't pay attention to these things while living a small life.

Seeing Xia Hongjun showing a shameful expression, Yang Li sighed: "Actually, our poetry club has not carried out activities for a long time. Haizi went to Tibet again. Xichuan and Luo Yihe were busy working all day. You ran to the northwest, and only Gome and others supported me... If this continues, the poetry club will be closed."

Xia Hongjun was silent after hearing this.

This is not a problem that Yanshan Poetry Club has said.

Although the poetry clubs of Yan Normal University, including the Chaohua Poetry Club, are still in operation, are not as grand as before. Some small poetry clubs in the school have stopped their activities because fewer and fewer people have participated.

In fact, the "Chinese Poetry 1986 Modern Group Poetry Exhibition" held in Shenzhen in the autumn of 1986, and the "Top Ten Middle-aged and Young Poets in China" selection event held in Chengdu at the end of the year pushed the Chinese poetry movement to a climax.

From then on, the poetry movement began to decline, and the poetry club of Yan Normal University is just a microcosm of this phenomenon.

Times have changed.

"Okay, I won't talk about this. Hello, I heard that your Poetry Magazine will hold a "Youth Poetry Festival" in September. You will get the moon first when you are close to the water. You must attend it at that time." Yang Li said again.

Magazine wants to hold a "Youth Poetry Conference"?

I don't know? I haven't reported it yet.

Or September?

Xia Hongjun became even more embarrassed when he heard this. He hesitated for a while before saying, "Yang Li, I'm afraid I can't participate. I have to go to Xiling to teach for a year."

"Ah?!" Yang Li looked surprised.

Xia Hongjun briefly explained the situation.

Yang Li listened, her surprised expression slowly turned into admiration.

"Xia Hongjun, I admire you completely today. In the past, your literary talent, knowledge and even your handsome appearance fascinated me... But today, you made me sincerely admire you. Xia Hongjun, why are your approaches so unique? Others are squeezing their heads and running abroad, but you are going to such a remote place."

Xia Hongjun smiled and didn't explain anything.

"Hey......You did this and made me even more fascinated by you? What should I do? I would just leave my salary and stay in my post and go to the Northwest to teach?"

ah?

I won't come true, right?

Looking at Yang Li's cunning gaze, Xia Hongjun smiled slightly: "No, because you can't bear the hardship."

"Yes, I really can't bear that hardship. I heard that there was no electricity lights when you went there, there was wind and sand everywhere. I could not stay there for a day when eating potato buns and steamed buns every day." Yang Li was also very frank.

"I like to wear clean and beautiful clothes, sit in a spacious and bright office, or go to Sanlitun to have coffee, read poetry and write poetry... Xia Hongjun, do you think your ideas are vulgar??"

Xia Hongjun shook his head, thought about it and said seriously: "Actually, I am not as noble as you think. I think the meaning of life lies in experience and experience. Maybe one day, I will also walk away from a foreign country with my luggage and see the prosperity of the world."

"Oh, when you said you went abroad, I suddenly remembered someone! A few days ago, I went to the airport to send me a friend, and I actually met your beautiful pen pal."
