424 When we read all books, the ultimate goal is to read ourselves.

Poetry prose culture is a very popular word in poetry creation in the past two years. The so-called poetry prose culture refers to the language of poetry prose culture, which refers to the use of the language of prose into the language of poetry in a conditional, regular and rhythmic manner. This creative method has been constantly arguing and mixed in praise and criticism since the birth of new poetry.

There are all those who agree and oppose it. Among them, the representative figure who strongly advocates this kind of writing is the famous poet Ai Qing. His representative work "Dayanhe - My Nanny" is a typical representative work of the poetry prose culture.

Poets who opposed poetry prose culture include the Indian poet Tagore, as well as the Crescent School poets Wen Yiduo and Xu Zhimo during the Republic of my country period.

Xia Hongjun explained from two aspects: "The emergence and development of new poetry" and "I think of new poetry and prose culture".

"Students, the questioning of new poetry is caused to a certain extent by the excessive tendency of "prose culture" in the new poetry."

The "prose culture" proposition does have certain historical achievements in the emergence of new poetry, but some drawbacks have emerged in the process of development. When new poetry needs to move forward with its head raised along the path of a relatively perfect combination of new content and new forms, the new poet ignored the construction of the ontological artistic nature of poetry. The great poet Ai Qing even said: "If it is a poem, no matter what form it is written, it is a poem."

"I think this is wrong. This will lead to some new poetry's language being complicated, chaotic, and poor rhythm. Some even become prose in branches. It seems that "branches" are the essential characteristics of poetry, but poetry must not be prose in branches!"

"Then, what is the difference between poetry and prose?" A girl who stood up was a long-haired girl.

Xia Hongjun thought for a while and said, "This summer, at the Yanshan Poetry Awards ceremony held in Chengdu, Mr. Yu Guangzhong explained the difference between poetry and prose. I am quoting a poet's opinion here:

"The French poet Valeri once said: "Prose is walking, poetry is dancing." Prose is narrative, one step forward, one step forward, can be fast, or slow, but it is still walking. Poetry is jumping, and like dance, it must have a rhythm... I wonder if this classmate understands?"

Xia Hongjun asked with a smile.

"I understand!" The girl's face turned slightly red, she sat down, and there was warm applause in the classroom.

The questioning stage was followed, which basically revolved around poetry, and Xia Hongjun answered patiently one by one.

"Xia Hongjun, can I ask a question that has nothing to do with poetry?" Suddenly a thin boy wearing glasses stood up.

"As long as it is related to literature, it's fine." Xia Hongjun smiled.

"I want to say the book "A Chinese Odyssey" you wrote not long ago! I really can't figure out that a writer who won the Mao Dun Literature Award would write such a work! The frivolous language and the chaotic structure are simply unintelligible! Is it like this "Journey to the West", one of the four great Chinese classics to blaspheme?!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the audience was in an uproar.

It’s not that this boy criticized "American Journey", but that this tone of speaking is too arrogant, right?

Xia Hongjun was also secretly angry.

If you want to debate the pros and cons of this novel, I warmly welcome it.

But he always puts a hat and beats a stick. Who do you think you are? Red Wei soldier?

He was about to speak when he suddenly saw another boy standing up and shouting: "Student, if you really think that this book "A Chinese Odyssey" is as simple and ignorant as you said, it only means that you have not read this book well, not a book, but a simple and ignorant!"

It's Wu Yong.

"You..." The thin boy's face turned red just now. He originally wanted to refute the novel in front of Xia Hongjun and let himself show his face, because the lecture would at least be published in the school's publication!

So he used very intense words.

What happened to the Mao Dun Literature Award winner?

This novel is badly written!

But unexpectedly, Cheng Yaojin came out halfway, speaking as sharply as himself.

"If you really don't understand this classmate, then you don't need Brother Xia, so I'll tell you a good talk!"

Wu Yong began to talk endlessly, from the deconstruction of novels to language, the use of postmodernist techniques...

Ha...I didn't expect that this kid has the potential to be a literary critic!

Xia Hongjun was secretly surprised.

Wu Yong and the boy's debate over the novel "American Journey" immediately caused low discussions in the classroom.

Have you read that novel "American Journey to the West"?

"No, I only like the poems he wrote."

"I've seen it, but I don't understand it, it's messy."

"Nonsense! It's definitely a good book! But you have to read it at least three times!"

Most of the people who came here to attend the lectures were poetry lovers. Not many people have actually read the book Xia Hongjun. After all, it has not been published for a long time, but after the debate between the two, it has aroused the curiosity of many people.

What about this novel that was made into shit by an individual and regarded as a divine book by another person?

Well... I went to Haizi Bookstore to buy a book and read it.

The two debated with gunpowder, but in the end, Jia Shu came forward to stop him and brought back the poetry lecture that almost went astray.

Xia Hongjun briefly talked about the motivation and ideas for writing this book, and finally said with a smile: "I originally wanted to talk about it in detail, but I was worried that someone would say that I would take this opportunity to advertise and sell books. What I want to say is that if you are interested, you can take a look, but you don't have to force me if you are not interested."

"Every book that can truly touch us and make us remember is hitting our hearts. We will see our own shadows in it, or see the self that longs for us. While we look at other people's stories and lament the fate of others, we are looking for ourselves. Our ultimate goal is to read ourselves."

"Thank you everyone!"

Amid the applause, Xia Hongjun walked off the podium.

After the lecture at the Normal University, Xia Hongjun declined Jia Shu and said that he would entertain him at night, and drove Santana to the yard of Houhai. Instead, he drove to the Haizi Bookstore at the east gate of the Normal University. He hadn't come here for a long time to sit there.

Lu Weihai's bookstore has expanded much larger than before, and there are also various books, paintings and newspapers selling nearby the bookstore.

After Xia Hongjun parked the car, he looked at the door and found that they were basically best-selling books, such as Qiong Yao's new "Xue Ke", Sanmao's "How many flowers fall in the dream", and Wang Shuo's new book "I am your father".

His own book "Desire" is also listed. What surprised Xia Hongjun was that the newly published "American Journey" was also listed!

The advertising slogans in the pictorial also attract attention: Sun Wukong's love story! - The latest masterpiece of Xia Hongjun, the winner of Mao Dun Literature Award, subverts your imagination!

Damn it!

Isn't this a bit too vulgar?

But thinking about it, it is indeed how Sun Wukong falls in love.
