Section 126 Six Ears Mission

Xuanmu Island, in Xuanmu Mansion.

Li Song was closing his eyes and practicing calmly, but suddenly his mind moved. When he thought about it, Li Song knew what was going on. He smiled and continued to sit quietly!

Suddenly, when a green light flashed, a figure came to Li Song, knelt down and bowed to Li Song, "Disciple Liuer pays homage to the teacher! Thank you for your kindness in enlightenment!" It was the six-eared macaque, the tenth disciple of Li Song, the four great spiritual monkeys in heaven and earth!

When Liu'er Mihou was drunk and hell, Li Song saw that Liu'er Mihou was extremely arrogant, so he punished Liu'er Mihou to return to Huaguo Mountain. He recited three or three times every morning and evening to "calm and calm" nine times until he had realized something.

Liu'er Mihou did not dare to neglect it, and from then on he stayed honestly on Huaguo Mountain and began to cultivate his mind and nature. At the beginning, Liu'er Mihou thought it was boring to recite such a word, just to complete the task. But later, Liu'er Mihou felt that it seemed that he was not as impulsive as before!

There is no time in the mountains, and hundreds of years have passed in a blink of an eye. The impulsive nature of the Liu'er Mihou has been reduced a lot, but has he realized something and is still far away?!

On this morning, the rising sun was rising, warm and shiny on Huaguo Mountain. The plants and trees on Huaguo Mountain were bathed in the sun, full of vitality and smiles. A breeze blew, carrying the fragrance of flowers mixed with the earthy smell throughout the mountains.

Groups of monkeys were sucking the dewdrops on the plants and trees, and their laughter was cheerful and loud, and they greeted the Liu'er Mihou from time to time.

The Liu'er Mihou suddenly realized something, and immediately ran to the top of the Huaguo Mountain where it transformed itself. As before, it absorbed the spiritual energy of the heaven and earth in the Huaguo Mountain. It felt refreshed and happy, and every pore became comfortable.

The "peacefulness" that teacher Li Song, who asked him to recite nine times every morning and evening suddenly flashed through his head, suddenly flashed through the head of Liu'er Mihou, who asked him to recite it nine times every day. He was very excited at the moment, so he turned over to Xuanmu Island and came to pay homage to Li Song.

Li Song saw Liu'er Mihou's expression, and just smiled and nodded, signaling Liu'er Mihou to stand up and talk.

Liu'er Mihou worshipped: "I used to be narrow-minded and had no tolerance. But I was wrong!"

Li Song said: "You have realized it now, and you are deeply relieved to be a teacher. However, since you already know that it is right now and yesterday is wrong, why should you be addicted to the past?"

Liu'er Mihou bowed and said, "Teacher teaches you a lesson!" After pausing, Lin Lei said, "Teacher. I heard that Zhang Bairen's nephew wanted to go to the west to promote the Confucian and Legal thoughts of Xuanmu Island. However, Zhang Bairen's nephew is an ordinary mortal. I am afraid that the journey to the west is long, so my disciple came to ask for his orders and escort Zhang Bairen's nephew to the west to the west!"

The six-eared macaque is born to listen to the sound, be able to observe the principles, know the past and the future, and all things are clear. Now that he has realized it, he also understands his own responsibilities. So he asked Li Song to order the protector Zhang Bairen to go to the West to promote Confucianism and Law.

Li Song looked at the respectful six-eared macaque in front of him and suddenly felt a lot of emotion. When Li Song was thinking about the story of "Journey to the West", he had never understood one thing, that is, on the way to Tang Monk's journey west, a monster who could really fight with Sun Wukong. Either the mounts of various gods descended to earth. For example, the King of Golden Horns and Silver Horns, the King of Unicorns and the King of Taishang Laojun was the disciple of the Shang Dynasty; the Green Lion (King of Lions), the White Elephant (King of Fans), etc. were Buddhist Bodhisattva mounts; or they were guided by Buddhism, such as Red Boy, Bull Demon King, Peng Demon King, etc., were all guided by Western Buddhism.

There is only one exception. This person is the six-eared macaque, who is known as the four great spiritual monkeys in the world, and was beaten to death by Sun Wukong in front of the Tathagata's ground.

What Li Song even more confused was that Liu'er Mihou and Sun Wukong's martial arts were both seventy-two changes. You should know that the seventy-two changes were infinitely powerful, and they were the magical skills of the two Buddhist and Taoist sects. Where can ordinary people learn it? Obviously, Liu'er Mihou could not be a Taoist disciple, otherwise, how could he be beaten to death like this?

Some people say that the four spiritual monkeys in heaven and earth occupy all the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and cannot coexist. This statement is not true at all. Don’t you see that when the seven great saints of Huaguo Mountain were sworn, the fifth red-butt horse monkey and the seventh monkey king and the seventh monkey king drank and ate meat and fought together, and they were very happy?

It was not until later when Li Song collected the Supreme Treasure on Huaguo Mountain that he saw Liu'er Mihou lying on the top of Huaguo Mountain that he realized: it turned out that Sun Wukong and Liu'er Mihou were entangled in cause and effect, and were a pair of life and death enemies. Liu'er Mihou's death was just a Buddhist plan, and he wanted to strengthen Sun Wukong's heart towards Buddha. Liu'er Mihou was born by a trace of yin and yang energy in Huaguo Mountain. Because of the special status of Huaguo Mountain, Buddhism may be protected by Liu'er Mihou.

Unexpectedly, Nuwa made a mistake in refining stones to repair the sky, and Liu'er Mihou was robbed of the land of the mountain by Sun Wukong, an outsider. Sun Wukong and Liu'er Mihou have the same qualifications as Liu'er Mihou. The difference is that Sun Wukong has a great merit that Liu'er Mihou does not have. Behind Sun Wukong is a saint of Nuwa.

It is precisely because of these two points that Liu'er Mihou suffered all the grievances, his temperament was biased, and he deeply hated Sun Wukong. Later, when Sun Wukong went to the West to seek the scriptures, Liu'er Mihou's enlightenment was small and everything was clear, so he came out to find trouble and demand cause and effect!

When Sun Wukong was studying at the Fangcun Mountain of Lingtai, he once said: "There are no Liuer here, only one disciple..." Unexpectedly, the monkey said it was a spirit word. At that time, the six-eared monkey was learning the skills with the monkey!

How could the saint Subhuti (Cunti) not knowing that the Liu'er Mihou is by his side? But Cunti also knows that the two monkeys are entangled in causality and cannot be involved clearly! Cunti comes to collect Sun Wukong as his disciple, which is already covering up the secrets of heaven. He hides the people of Dongtu, so he naturally cannot be as good as Li Song! It is obvious that when only one of the two is chosen, the Liu'er Mihou is destined to be a victim.

When Sun Wukong killed the Liu'er Mihou, the Buddha Tathagata who helped Sun Wukong conquer the Liu'er Mihou once said something worthy of fun: "You are all one mind, let's see the two minds fighting." Tathagata had long known that the Liu'er Mihou would die!

The meaning of this sentence is that the Liuer Mihou was trained to be the other side of Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong was unruly, wild and difficult to tame, and refused to enter the Western Buddhism side. If Sun Wukong wanted to truly integrate into Buddhism, he had to remove the "this side" in his heart!

When Sun Wukong was seeking the scriptures before meeting Liu'er Mihou, he had just brought a tight curse and wanted to kill Tang Monk many times and left Tang Monk. After Sun Wukong killed Liu'er Mihou, no matter how difficult the road was, Sun Wukong always kept on the Tang Monk.

Buddhism talks about the unity of heaven and man, and the process of practicing the earth is the process of constantly defeating oneself. The six-eared macaque is a reflection of Sun Wukong's psychology. A Sun Wukong denies his past and devotes himself to the opportunity to go to the earth in the prosperity of Buddhism.

It can be seen how successful the Buddhist plan to survive and perish! The poor Liu'er Mihou gave his life in an unknown way!

After Li Song met the Liu'er Mihou on Huaguo Mountain, he used Li Song's cultivation to think through these things thoroughly. How could Li Song use Buddhist methods to plot against this innocent Liu'er Mihou? But he was unwilling to take advantage of Buddhism, so he simply took the Liu'er Mihou back to his disciples! He used his own strength to resolve the cause and effect between the two monkeys.

Li Song has infinite merits, and the Supreme Treasure can also be regarded as born from Li Song. Li Song can take over this cause and effect for the Supreme Treasure!

Li Song brought the Supreme Treasure back to Xuanmu Island to practice and returned the Huaguo Mountain to Liu'er Mihou. Apart from the meeting in Xuanmu Mansion, the two monkeys could not meet each other. Li Song spent hundreds of years to enlighten the resentment in Liu'er Mihou's heart, making Liu'er Mihou understand his mission!

It's yours, but it will be given to you in the end!

Li Song heard the words of Liu'er Mihou and nodded, "It's best if you have this idea for your disciple! The journey to the West is long, so I will ask your senior brother Niu Mowang and Supreme Treasure to prepare everything along the way!"

After saying that, Li Song reached out and touched Liu'er Mihou's head and said slowly: "Disciple, it doesn't matter whether the Confucian and Legal thoughts are spread, but remember that in the heart of the teacher, the safety and harmony of your brothers' lives are the most important!"

Liu'er Mihou wanted to say something, but she felt a heat in her heart and her throat was blocked. So she only looked at Li Song and nodded heavily...

The six-eared macaque bid farewell to Li Song and went to find Zhang Bairen to discuss the matter of Confucianism and Fa’s advancement in the west! At that time, Zhang Bairen had already bundled all the classic books of Confucianism and Fa and were drying in the sun to avoid resurgence! Just waiting for the people who traveled west to come, they would go to Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty to meet Emperor Taizong of Tang, and officially start the journey to the west!

Among them, the Confucian scriptures are works represented by the Four Books (The Great Learning, The Doctrine of the Mean, The Analects of Confucius, Mencius), and the Six Classics (The Book of Songs, The Book of Books, The Book of History, The Book of Rites, The Music Classic, The Book of Music, The Book of Changes, and The Spring and Autumn Annals, with a total of 7749 copies.

The Legalist scriptures are 4832 stories of reforms of kings in the Dongtu period.

The two Confucian and Legal scriptures are combined together, with a total of 9981 books, which fills the number of 99 to be unified.

Li Song stood outside Xuanmu Mansion, watching Zhang Bairen fiddling with all this with interest, and thought to himself: I'm afraid this is what later generations talk about cultural invasion!
