The ultimate realm is no different from the best, but the plain people in the world know so much. In their minds, those Buddhists and Taoists who "entered the world" are all "rookies" who are just newcomers. How can they be as convincing as those great scholars who "entered the world"? If you give them a free choice, the result will be self-evident.

The stage of cultivation that Confucianism often says includes "investigating things, seeking knowledge, correcting heart, sincerity, cultivating oneself, managing the family, governing the country and pacifying the world", among which "investigating things, seeking knowledge, making small and correcting the heart and sincerity. The four stages can also be classified as "cultivating oneself". Only when one's own "cultivation" is enough can one "manage the family" and then "governing the country and pacifying the heavens.
