40 First Training (Part 2)

The summer day always comes very early. Before 6 o'clock, the sky is already bright, and there are also coaches on the training ground in the Tillingen.

Yang Cheng brought the coaching team to the training ground early and began to arrange the facilities of the training ground in advance.

There are 6 people in the coaching staff so far. Paul and Bayer are responsible for the team's defensive training arrangements; Tim and Hank are responsible for the team's physical training arrangements; Monitz and Mullensteen are responsible for the team's technical and offensive training; Schmidt is responsible for assisting Tim, and at the same time, he has to communicate with the team's team doctor to understand the physical condition of each player on the team. If there is any injury, he also needs to understand their recovery status and come to the training ground one hour in advance to arrange the rehabilitation training of the injured.

Yang Cheng has communicated and contacted the responsibilities of the coaching team with each coaching team member. At the same time, he has conducted repeated research with each coach for many times, and then he has formulated this 10-day pre-season training plan.

Among them, many other games such as walking the monkey were proposed by Yang Cheng based on his memories of his previous life. They were immediately recognized and praised by other members of the coaching team, and they also looked at Yang Cheng with admiration.

After the training ground was arranged, Yang Cheng and the coaching team met again, and focused on explaining that they must examine the players' technical and tactical characteristics during training and make detailed records to help the team get better running-in.

At 6:30, Yang Cheng and his coaching staff stood outside the locker room in Tillingen, watching the players return one after another.

Bremer and others also appeared on time. When they saw them, Yang Cheng nodded to the team captain, and the latter walked into the locker room with a look of indifference.

After changing clothes and taking a short rest, the team went to the restaurant at the training base for a group meal.

"Hey, are there any toast bread?" Rutz waved to the restaurant staff.

The staff member seemed a little timid and hesitated not to know whether he should walk over. Instead, Yang Cheng came over after hearing this and shook his head.

"Sorry, Roger, starting today, the team's restaurant will not be allowed to have fried foods such as wine, fries, chocolate, pies and toast. Instead, you should eat more pasta, chicken and vegetables."

Rutz was a little annoyed when he heard this. He was impatient and thought that Yang Cheng had to limit his meals.

Yang Chuang pretended not to see his expression, turned around and said to the players: "From today, Chris and Schmidt will serve as your nutritionist, and develop catering for you during training and competitions. I hope you all understand that scientific nutritional habits can ensure that your body can play better!"

"I won't eat anymore!" As soon as Yang Cheng finished speaking, Rutz threw out a fork in his hand, and there was a clang.

Yang Cheng winked at the staff, "It's okay, put it away!"

The staff had obviously been instructed by Yang Cheng for a long time. Although they were a little afraid of Rutz, they still did it.

"You have the right to choose not to eat, but I will not be polite to you. The training will be the same. If you can't stand it, get out of the second team!" After that, Yang Cheng turned around and left the restaurant.

"It seems that it is not easy to tame them!" Paul followed behind with a wry smile, and they could still hear the swearing voices of the players in the restaurant.

"I expected it, but it's okay, they will regret it soon!" Yang Cheng said with a treacherous smile.

Between 7:40 and 8:00, Yang Cheng asked the players to conduct a simple warm-up under the leadership of Tim and Hank.

From 8 o'clock, the team entered the first training event on time and ran back with a 30-meter sprint.

If you think that Yang Cheng’s request is only these, you’re wrong!

During each group of sprints and back runs, Tim and Hank will use a stopwatch to record the time spent by each player, and then ask these players to keep their time within the range of the first run in the next round, which can only be better, not worse, otherwise they will be punished.

A total of 10 minutes of back-back runs were performed, and each player was out of breath and looked exhausted.

After Yang Cheng asked them to take a break, they immediately dribbled the ball and quickly walked around the tip-cone obstacle training. Monitz and Murenstin were staring at each player in the training and making various records in their notebooks.

15 minutes later, the players returned to the middle of the training ground, and used three people as a group, in a triangle standing to conduct one-foot pass training. Yang Cheng only had one requirement for this training, that is, he could only touch the ball with one kick, and whoever fouled would be punished.

After the previous two trainings: sprint and obstacle course, the players consumed a lot of physical strength, and they made frequent mistakes when passing and receiving the ball, which made Monitz and Murenstin shook their heads incessantly.

As a professional player, under normal circumstances, anyone can pass the ball accurately, but under severe physical energy consumption, those who can accurately touch the ball accurately and ensure that the technical movements do not deform. That is Yang Cheng's requirement. There is no doubt that many players cannot meet this requirement.

Monitz and Murenstin also realized that they had a great responsibility because they had to arrange appropriate programs in training to help players improve this as soon as possible.

After completing the pass training, Yang Cheng summoned the players and conveyed the advantages and disadvantages he got from Monitz and Murenstin to the players, then commented on their performance in training, pointed out the mistakes of many players in passing and receiving practice, and then Monitz and Murenstin demonstrated separately what to do.

Yang Cheng will definitely not be able to do anything by example.

After the two coaches finished their demonstration, Yang Cheng walked out and stood in front of the players.

"I don't want to say anything extra. I took advantage of today's training class to tell you all that the next one will be hell-style training. Each of you must be mentally prepared because I have always believed in the principle of enduring hardships before and enjoying later. When the season begins, you will definitely understand that today's efforts are worth it!"

"My football purpose is offense. I pay great attention to technical details and emphasize that one foot touching the ball. I don't care how you played football before or what your previous playing habits were. In short, from today on, I, Yang Cheng, are your head coach. You can only follow my instructions and arrangements!"

"Of course, I'm not the kind of unreasonable person. My office is right there!" Yang Cheng pointed to the office upstairs of the locker room not far away. "You can find me there any time. You can tell me any problems or difficulties you encounter. I will do everything possible to help you solve the problem. Whether it is on or off the court, I have no choice but to welcome you!"

"But as long as you walk onto the training ground and onto the football field, I'm sorry, everyone can only listen to me!"

Speaking of this, Yang Cheng glanced at the players again and walked past each one by one. He could already call out each person's names very familiarly.

"I believe you should have known me. In my team, I have no distinction between main players and substitutes, no distinction between big names and rookies, and no difference between local German and outside the EU. The reason why I require everyone to speak German in the team is because German is the official language of Kaiserslautern, that's all."

"I don't care whether you were in Kaiserslautern or other teams, whether you were the main players or substitutes, or you are famous European stars or unknown rookies now. Nothing is important to me. What's important is what my assistants and I saw on the training ground and on the court!"

"Whoever performs poorly and has a bad attitude will go to the stands!"

After saying that, Yang Cheng clapped his hands hard, blew the whistle, indicating that the first training class this morning was officially over!

The players clapped their hands exhausted, and then scattered back to the locker room.

This is just the first training class, but all the contents are arranged very tightly, the rest time is very short and the intensity is very strong, which makes these players who have just returned from vacation scream and can't bear it. Rutz, who didn't eat in the morning, turned blue. Fortunately, with the help of Schmidt, I drank a little more water just now, otherwise I wouldn't be able to bear it at all.

The two training classes at noon and afternoon were also very intense, and all training events were arranged in an orderly manner. Obviously, Yang Cheng communicated with the coaching team in advance. The order of each training was arranged reasonably, one after another, and the intensity gradually increased. In the end, the players almost couldn't stand it.

It’s like running. Although it’s jogging, Yang Cheng requires every player to ride the ball, run and play the ball, and during the running, he requires the players not to leave the ball. It’s not difficult to see his emphasis on ball training.

I originally thought it was just a game-like monkey walker, and the introduction was very simple. The players secretly thanked that as long as they didn't go to the circle to grab the ball, nothing would happen, but unexpectedly, Yang Cheng still played tricks.

In addition to goalkeeper Reinke, the team has a total of 21 players. Yang Cheng divided the 21 players into 3 groups, each group formed a circle, and there were exactly 7 people. Then they were asked to play the monkey walking game of 2-gamble 5 and 3-gamble 4.

This kind of game is undoubtedly more difficult than when one person grabs it. It requires faster passes and catches, and naturally more mistakes. However, Yang Cheng's punishment for the mistaken person is very strong.

As for the 7-player game that was later carried out, the players were all miserable because they lacked tacit understanding and could not be neat in their movements and were always running inconsistently. However, because of the hands holding each other, the ball kept landing.

So at the end of the game, the players found that the game that they thought was the easiest, but in the end they were tortured the most.
