Section 405, 406 Chungwu Jingu Yuan Army is defeated(1/2)

When Zheng Sixiao saw the ancient pre-Qin bamboo slips in Shijing Pavilion, he was so excited that he couldn't stop it, so he burst into tears. Zheng Sixiao was different from Wen Tianxiang. He was a pure scholar. Although he was crazy like a literati, he was also more emotional.

Therefore, the impact of the lost ancient sword on him was even more than that on Wen Tianxiang.

"Your Majesty, this is the destiny of heaven!" Zheng Sixiao laughed again, "It's not just the destiny of the Tang Kingdom, but also the foundation of China. This is the destiny of Xia!"

Li Luo smiled and said, "Mr. Weng, can these ancient books be released, clear the origin, reform the principles and teachings, and correct the literary way?"

"But!" Zheng Sixiao said without hesitation, "These ancient simplified scripts are where the literary system is and the source. Those who speak on behalf of the sages must be ashamed of themselves. I have always believed that Confucianism is Tao. Tao is the foundation of Confucianism. However, now it has become Zhucheng Neo-Confucianism, which is simply a thousand miles apart!"

The Chinese literary and Taoism began to change since the Song Dynasty, and the "Sinology" that had been passed down for thousands of years was replaced by "Neo-Confucianism". The essence of Neo-Confucianism is "moral religion", advocating that morality is the law of nature, thus educating the original heart and then governing the country with virtue! The sage inside and the king outside!

That is...the way of virtue!

Isn't it very tall?

Compared with the study of the philology of classical meanings, Neo-Confucianism has made great progress, and has made a qualitative leap at the ideological level, rising to the height of philosophy and religion. Neo-Confucianism was not created out of thin air, but was "retro" based on pre-Qin Taoism and Confucianism.

Principles and religions are religions that worship moral and natural laws. The highest god is "God of Haotian", which is the way of heaven. The second is the emperor who represents the way of heaven, the ancestors and parents who inherit the way of heaven, and finally the teacher who teaches the way of heaven. It belongs to the worship of hierarchical divine nature, similar to Buddhism and Christianity.

The religion of the Tao is a very delicate and rigorous religion. The temple of the Tao is the ubiquitous Confucius Temple. The religion of the Tao is a local religion that combines Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.

Therefore, Li Luo thought that many time travelers completely deny the Theorem and shouted to fight and kill, which made them very embarrassed. Do you understand what the Idea?

Like the imperial examination, Science and Technology is a good form. However, like the imperial examination, the content is too narrow, which ultimately causes more harm than good.

The content of the imperial examination is too narrow. The same is true for Science and Technology.

Neo-Confucianism only regulates moral personality, but completely ignores natural philosophy (studying things). At the same time, Neo-Confucianism promotes universal benevolence ideas that transcend race, which is too advanced, weakens the national martial spirit and suppresses the spirit of expansion and enterprising.

Second, the norms of Neo-Confucianism are too harsh and rigid, especially when they are moral, and even develop to the point of perverting, imprisoning thoughts.

Therefore, Li Luo always planned to completely deny Theory, but instead wanted to undergo major operations to reform and improve the content, and put Neo-Confucianism into the big basket of Taoism.

The new principles and teachings are Taoism. Don’t you regulate the way of people (morality)? Okay. Warriors are also humans, so you can add another martial arts norm. Warriors will also be given to you.

Don’t you worship the way of heaven? Okay, the way of nature is the way of heaven. Then, you must also manage the way of nature. You can’t just manage people, regardless of things. All things naturally have spirits, and you can’t favor one or the other.

Didn’t you say that the way of nature is natural? Okay, it is against nature for women to bind their feet, so you have to worry about this too.

Finally, benevolence is good, but it depends on whom. Is the way of benevolence and forgiveness of the saint also set for enemies and robbers? What does it mean to repay kindness with kindness? Therefore, you must advocate the debate between China and the barbarians and advocate differences between inside and outside.

...

Li Luo told Zheng Sixiao these thoughts one by one. Zheng Sixiao's eyes became brighter and brighter when he heard them. Many of what Li Luo said were what he had thought of, and it was even more grander than he had thought of.

Unexpectedly, Mr. Tang was so young and had such insight. He was really a talented person.

Even Wen Tianxiang was stunned when he heard this. Although Confucianism and Taoism have a connection, they are indeed a kind of Tao. Is it really feasible to turn Confucianism into Taoism?

"I just said, can I complete it?" Li Luo asked expectantly.

Zheng Yiweng said, "With ancient scriptures in hand, the emperor recruits famous scholars and advocates great righteousness. When the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty suppresses Confucianism, this matter will be accomplished!"

He said it was right. If the Song Dynasty was still there, it would be difficult for Li Luo and his ideas to be implemented. But now it is different. Since the Mongol Yuan entered the Central Plains, the Han people lost their country, and scholars in the world were reflecting painfully, reflecting on why they were destroyed by the barbarians.

In addition, Kublai Khan, the "master of Confucianism", canceled the imperial examinations, suppressed the Han Confucians, and regarded the Han people as slaves, so the Confucians are currently very unconfident and are in unprecedented confusion.

At this time, reforming Neo-Confucianism and turning Confucianism into Taoism not only had the least resistance, but also allowed Confucian scholars to see hope and find excuses to comfort themselves.

"Okay! Then I'll ask Mr. Yiweng for this matter!" Li Luo expressed his joyfully, "I plan to appoint Mr. Yiweng as the great master of the Heavenly Dao Mansion and the minister of the sacrificial temples. I am fully responsible for reforming the principles and religions and turning Confucianism into Taoism."

Zheng Yiweng said, "Five Temples to worship ministers?" Although he had never heard of the official position of the Great Heavenly Master of the Heavenly Dao Mansion, he knew what it meant. Although he was a great scholar himself, he believed in Taoism, and this position was suitable for him.

But what is the constitution for sacrificing ministers in the five temples?

Wen Tianxiang took the initiative to explain, "My Tang Dynasty regards Taoism as the national religion, but this Taoism has also been reformed. Taoism has five major temples, namely the Taishang Laojun Temple that worships the Heavenly Dao, and the Yanhuang Temple that worships the Emperor and the ancestors... Together, it is called the Five Dao Temples."

"The five major Taoist temples are headed by Laojun Temple, which worships the Heavenly Dao. The second is the Yanhuang Ancestral Temple. In addition to worshiping the Yanhuang Ancestor, the Yanhuang Ancestral Temple also worships the wise kings of all dynasties..."

"The five major Taoist temples are also divided into levels. The smallest one is called the She, and then the temple, and the largest one is called the Palace. The Taishang Taoist Palace and the Zhongwu Divine Palace have been completed. The three palaces of the Yanhuang Emperor Palace, the Shisheng Wen Palace, and the Lumo Divine Palace are still under construction."

Zheng Yiweng understood that Mr. Tang’s thoughts were so wild. He asked again, “Since the Taoist temple is classified, then the Taoist priests in the temple should also be classified?”

Li Luo replied, "Yes. Taoist officials and Taoist ranks are divided into Daozi, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, Taoist priest, real person, heavenly master, great heavenly master, and the tenth grade of civil and military. There are regulations for the "Daoguan Code" to regulate it. How to do Taoist officials and what to do for sacrifices, there are rules to follow."

"Good!" Zheng Yiweng said happily, "I am willing to accept the position of a minister of the Great Heavenly Master of the Heavenly Dao Mansion and the Five Temples!"

Li Luo smiled and said, "That's thank you for your hard work. The Grand Heavenly Master is the same as the Prime Minister and the Grand Marshal. He should have been the first rank. But now my Tang Dynasty is only a priest, and the highest rank is the third rank. This Grand Heavenly Master can only have a third rank position."

Zheng Yiweng laughed and said, "Your words are serious. How can I care about official rank? But I can serve you and restore the Central Plains. My wish is enough."

…………

On the edge of Luoning City, a tall building with an area of more than ten acres with white walls and black tiles has been completed. This building seems to be like a temple, but because it uses white walls and black tiles, it looks very solemn and solemn, and the overall style has a gloomy and sacred feeling.

There is also a archway at the entrance of the temple, with four large characters written in the official script, Zhongwu Shen Palace.

After passing the archway, there are nine steps. Upon the steps, it is a double-eaved hall in the style of Sui and Tang Dynasties. It is not tall. The plaque has three large characters written on it.

The Wudao Pavilion is three halls, displaying various weapons, armor, and a large number of murals on the walls, painting historical stories.

The mural stories include Jing Ke assassinating the King of Qin, Nie Zheng killing Xia Lei, Lang Xie bravely plotting to avenge his shame, Shu Liang He lifted the city gate, Qin Jinfu three times climbed and hung cloth, Tian Heng 500 soldiers, champion Hou defeated the Xiongnu, Ban Chao killed the envoy to attack the enemies, Guan Yunchang shaved his bones to cure the poison, Zu Ti heard the chicken dance, Ran Min destroyed Hu, Chen Qingzhi's lonely army to fight the north, etc.

After the Wudao Pavilion, there is the taller main hall, the Zhongwu Temple.

There are two statues of gods standing side by side in the hall, both as high as one meter. The one on the left holds the Qinglong Yanyue Sword and the Liquan Divine Spear on the right holds the both of them are majestic and solemn, and they are the statues of Guan Yu and Yue Fei.

There are three incense burners in front of the statue, and the smoke is shrouding in smoke, making the entire hall more solemn.

On the side of the Temple of Zhongwu is a martial arts training ground covering an area of two acres. There are five different colors of target people from north to south. There are also five different colors of feather arrows in the bow pavilion next to it.

In addition, there are also buildings such as the Spirit Hall of the Chinese Warriors, as well as the Xinshi Academy, Taoist Officer Academy and other buildings used to live in.

At this time, it was almost dusk. However, there were still a group of officers coming to Zhongwu Temple, each wearing new black armor and a Tang sword on his waist, and he was full of energy.

They came to the pool in the small square in front of the Wudao Pavilion, washed their hands first, and then wiped their hands with a white cloth. This first ceremony was called "cleaning hands and clearing dust".

After they cleaned their hands, they then walked up the steps together to salute the newly appointed Taoist official, then entered the martial arts pavilion and quietly observed the mural figures on the wall. There was no noise throughout the whole process, and they were not allowed to talk and make a sound, striving to travel with the heart. This second ceremony is called "The Heart Enters the Painting Sacrifice".

Afterwards, they came to the main hall of Zhongwu Temple, took the Tang sword together, held it with both hands and held it up slowly, and came to the gate of Zhongwu Temple.

At the entrance of the hall, there is also a new Taoist official sitting cross-legged on the cushion and looking at them quietly. In fact, it is to supervise their worship ceremony.

On both sides of the gate, there is a huge whetstone. There is a sand table next to the whetstone. They pulled out the Tang sword, half-kneeled, symbolically grinded on the whetstone three times, then stood up and wrote the word "zhong" in the sand table with the Tang sword.

Then, half-kneeled down, sharpened the knife three times, and stood up and wrote the word "道".

This was performed five times in a row, and the five samurai virtues, "loyalty, bravery, wisdom, trustworthiness and righteousness" were written on the sand table. This third ritual is called "Sharpening the sword and honoring the Tao".

After the ceremony of "Sharpening the Sword and Reigning the Tao", they put the sword in the sheath again, still holding it with both hands across their chests, and entered the hall one after another.

Then, they bowed one by one, and bowed three times to the two statues of gods. This fourth ceremony is called "repeated bows again and again".

Then they sat upright on the futon, leaned on the Tang sword with both hands, faced the statue of God, closed their eyes and meditated and prayed, and opened their eyes for about half a cup of tea. This fifth ritual is called "Praying God to cleanse the heart".

In fact, it is a ceremony of self-reflection and secretly praying to the gods.

Next, they bowed their heads three times again, then raised the Tang sword flat, pulled out half of the blade, facing the statue of the god, reflecting their faces. Then, with a sudden "clang" sound, the knife was sheathed, and stood up straightforwardly. This is the sixth ceremony, called "Swords to the Heart".

After completing the "knife learning of the mind", they held the knife in both hands, slowly retreated from the hall, then turned around, and then carried the Tang sword to their waists again.

Could it be that the six rituals are over?

Of course not.

Next, they came to the "Wu Soul Hall" behind the Zhongwu Temple. The Whale Oil Eternal Light was burning in the Wuhu Temple, and a newly appointed Taoist official was also in charge.

The Spirit Hall enshrines the spiritual thrones of hundreds of Haidong soldiers who died in the battle against Japan since Li Luo Jianjun, the killing of life, the destruction of pirate Han Gong, and the expedition of Japan. A pattern of the Tang army battle flag was painted on the wall.

Each spiritual card contains the names, origins, clans, and military positions of the soldiers who died in battle.

There is a couplet on the pillars in the hall

"The loyalty of the country is here to serve the heroes, and the souls of the war will remain when they kill the demons and defend the way."

That's right, the Chinese warrior phone number says that the enemy of China is a demon, and the evil bandits are a demon. The greed, timid, shameless, ignorant, unfaithful and unfaithful ones are also demons.

The guardians' way of defending the way not only kills demons like the enemy of the country and the people, but also kills the demons in their hearts. In order to cultivate both inside and outside, they can achieve the true way of warriors.

With the cigarette smoke surrounds, the group of warriors and officers coming in face the spirit position, took off their helmets, lowered their heads to mourn for a while. This is the seventh ceremony of silent sacrifice to the spirit.

Then they turned around and left, after stepping out of the threshold of the hall, turned around, bowed to the hall, and shouted, "Meet the Yellow Spring!"

This was the first time they were allowed to speak after entering the Temple of Zhongwu Temple, and they could only say the four words "Meet in the Yellow Spring".

This is the eighth ceremony called "Meeting in Nine Springs".

After saying goodbye to Huangquan, they came to the martial arts field in the east, picked up the bow, and shot five targets of different colors with different colors of loyal arrows, brave arrows, wise arrows, righteous arrows, and faith arrows. The names of the five targets of different colors are called infidelity, cowardice, ignorance, unrighteousness, and untrust.

The target was ten feet away, and all five arrows were shot in one round, and the ceremony ended.

This is the ninth ritual, called "The Arrow of the Tao to Kill the Demons". Loyalty, courage, wisdom, trustworthiness and righteousness are the five paths. But unfaithfulness, cowardice, ignorance, unrighteousness, and untrustworthiness are the five inner demons that must be killed.

Only when the ceremony of "Dao Arrows Killing Demons" is over, can we register with the Taoist officer who manages the Taoist arrows, leave the name, military post, unit, and sacrifice date on the sacrificial record. Then, receive a "peace talisman".

These nine rituals are the current standardized process for the Tang Dynasty warriors to worship the Martial Temple. They are just beginning to become popular now.

Among the nine rituals, except for the eighth ceremony, "Meeting in Nine Springs", which must say the four words "Meeting in the Yellow Springs", the other eight procedures cannot speak and remain silent.

Civil officials and the people can also come to Zhongwu Temple to worship, but there are only four rituals, and the other five rituals do not need to be held.

Anyone who comes to Zhongwu Temple to worship is a believer.

As soon as these samurai left the Zhongwu Temple, another group of samurai came to the door.
