Chapter 397 US Air Force(1/2)

Captain Moore and his two men walked in the jungle in fear. They had to be on guard against the Japanese who might appear at any time and at any time!

Damn, they were shot down.

Two whole planes!

How many people can survive?

Captain Moore didn't know.

But he knew that he could never fall into the hands of the Japanese.

Since the Japanese "Ward Zero" was revealed, all the Allied forces knew that once it fell into the hands of the Japanese, life would be worse than death.

They are considered lucky.

While skydiving, they fell into this jungle.

So they have not been captured by the Japanese yet.

But they are unfamiliar with this place.

The only weapon for self-defense is the pistol they carry.

But the Japanese will definitely arrest them on a large scale.

Three pistols?

That's ridiculous.

"Shh!" Kyle, the leader, suddenly made a gesture to stop moving forward.

All three men drew their pistols.

"Captain?"

From the opposite side, a low voice came: "Is that Captain Moore?"

"Jim? It's Jim!" Captain Moore recognized the other party's voice immediately: "Jim, I'm Moore!"

"Captain, my God, you are all alive."

Jim and Huntley came out of hiding.

Looking at Jim, he was almost crying: "I thought I would never see you again, Captain."

"No, we are still alive and will continue to live."

Captain Moore is also somewhat relieved now.

Including Ross, there are five of them in total.

Of course, if God can be merciful, Captain Moore also hopes to find more companions.

"Is there anything to eat?" Huntley, who always has a good appetite, said, "I'm almost starving to death."

They only had half a pack of biscuits with them.

After a while, Jim, who was a sergeant, ate the biscuits carefully and asked, "Captain, what should we do now? There are jungles everywhere here, and the Japanese are definitely hunting us."

Captain Moore's head hurt: "We don't know where we are now. Our only hope is to find the local guerrillas."

But it is easy to say, but too difficult to do.

This is Manila.

The guerrillas themselves cannot be saved. Even if they are found, how can they leave Manila?

Captain Moore and his companions spent a whole day and night in the jungle.

The only thing they ate was the half pack of biscuits.

But now, even the last bit of cookie residue is gone.

They once saw a rabbit.

It was Captain Moore who reacted quickly and stopped Huntley in time as he pulled out his gun:

"Are you crazy? Do you want to attract those Japanese monkeys?"

They dare not make too big a move.

They could only watch the rabbit, no, the rich food slipped out from under their noses.

This frustrated the five Americans to the extreme.

"Don't make a sound!"

Kyle suddenly discovered something.

He listened carefully for a while: "Someone is approaching, five, no, maybe more."

"Ready to fight!"

Captain Moore drew his pistol.

The sound gradually got closer.

No matter how poor your hearing is, you can still hear the voices on the other side talking in Japanese.

After hiding for so long, those damn Japanese monkeys finally showed up!

There were seven Japanese soldiers in total.

Although the five Americans tried their best not to make any noise, such a close distance would sooner or later expose them.

Captain Moore, who never wanted to fall into the hands of the Japanese, made a bold and risky decision:

He fired first!

One shot knocked down a Japanese soldier.

And this, amidst the angry curses of the Japanese soldiers, a gun battle quickly broke out.

Although the Japanese soldiers did not have heavy weapons, six rifles were enough to form an overwhelming advantage over five pistols.

The Americans were beaten so hard that they couldn't even raise their heads.

"I've been shot, Captain, I've been shot."

Kyle screamed.

He was hit in the calf.

Captain Moore was about to rescue him, but was pushed back by the oncoming bullet.

This is not the most dangerous thing.

What Captain Moore is most worried about is that the nearby Japanese soldiers will come up with reinforcements at any time.

At this critical moment, intensive gunshots suddenly came from behind and around the Japanese soldiers.

Several Japanese soldiers were caught off guard and fell to the ground one after another.

Captain Moore was startled at first, then ecstatic.

Because he could tell from the gunfire that it was a Thompson submachine gun and that was an M1 carbine!

Reinforcements have arrived!

The firepower of the reinforcements was extremely fierce, and they were obviously well-trained.

In the shortest time, all the remaining Japanese soldiers were knocked down in a pool of blood.

"Everyone come out!"

A voice came from the other side, speaking the local language.

Captain Moore didn't understand. He could only speak English: "Don't shoot, U.S. Air Force, we are the U.S. Air Force."

He was originally worried that the other party would not understand him, but unexpectedly, he came over in fluent English: "Put down your weapons, raise your hands above your head, and come out slowly."

"Hey, do what they do!"

Captain Moore was the first to raise his hands and walked out: "We have a wounded man who needs help!"

Then his companion came out.

Especially the injured Kyle, who was worried about being beaten to death and jumped out with his injured left foot.

"U.S. Air Force, Captain Moore."

Captain Moore identified himself as soon as he came out, and then asked carefully: "Are you guerrillas?"

Fazheng looked at the other party carefully and said, "That's right."

What does it mean?

Xu Zhu whispered a few words into Fazheng's ear, and he nodded: "Let's go, the Japanese will soon hear the gunfire and support will arrive. I will take you to a safe place."

"Hey, we have some wounded here."

When he learned that the other party was a guerrilla, Jim's tone also changed: "Help us carry him away."
