Chapter 64 Birthday Cake

Lingzi was a little strange. Hu Jin took the phone several times along the way, not shy away from him. Who was the one who called this time? It made him so nervous.

After a while, Hu Jin came back, "Are you anxious? I've talked about something important." Hu Jin started the car again.

Xinbai, Hu Jin helped Lingzi pick up a few clothes and asked the shopping guide to take her to the fitting room to try. Lingzi waved her hands repeatedly, "Just buy two, don't buy so many."

"Try it first. Let's change the inappropriate ones. Today is your birthday, and you must dress up beautifully." Hu Jin smiled and his eyes were doting, which made Lingzi's heart warm.

After trying a few pieces, Suzuko's favorite thing was the white T-shirt with cartoon patterns, paired with the new style of loophole cat whisker jeans, which was fresh and cute.

The red off-shoulder dress bell was a little unacceptable, but Hu Jin thought it looked good and insisted that the shopping guide pack it up.

He switched to several more stores and bought three or four sets of clothes, two pairs of high heels, and a pair of white sneakers. Hu Jin didn't even blink when he paid. Lingzi felt sorry for him as he watched the money spent out of his hands.

"Brother, I bought too many, just wear something, why spend so much money?" Suzuko felt a little embarrassed, "I don't know, I thought I was a big shot."

"Silly! You will be the young grandmother of my Hu family in the future. How can you wear shabby clothes? If you give me a son, you will have to wear gold and silver." Hu Jin smiled.

"Hate! Brother, you are so bad!" Suzuko felt even more embarrassed.

As the sky gradually became dark, Hu Jin parked the car and held hands with Lingzi and boarded the long-booked pleasure boat.

"Miss, who is celebrating his birthday?" A young lady in Hanfu brought up the birthday cake.

"My girlfriend celebrates her birthday." Hu Jin said quickly.

"Then I wish this beauty eternal youth and happiness forever, Happy birthday!" The young lady in Hanfu helped light a candle and retreated aside.

"Brother, when did you order a cake for me? Why don't I know?" Suzuko looked surprised.

"It was the time I went out to answer the phone, haha!" Hu Jin laughed proudly.

"So that's it. I said why are you mysterious?" Suzuko felt relieved.

"Make a wish and then blow the candle." Hu Jin took the lead and clapped his hands and sang a happy birthday song.

Lingzi closed her eyes and made a wish silently, hoping that she and Hu Jin would be happy like this forever. She blew out the candle and her eyes were shining.

"Brother, you are so nice to me!" Suzuko snuggled happily on Hu Jin's shoulder, "I'm so happy today, I've never been as happy as I am today."

"Follower, you will be so happy every day from now on!" Hu Jin picked up a piece of cake, cut a piece with a spoon, and fed it into Linzi's mouth.

"This is my first birthday in my life, and my first time eating my own birthday cake. Do you believe it?" Suzuko was very moved.

"I believe that in the future, someone will celebrate your birthday every year, and you will eat your own birthday cake every year, I promise." Hu Jin felt a little distressed and hugged her tightly in his arms.

The pleasure boats dotted with colorful lanterns are slowly moving on the Qinhuai River. Lingzi enjoys the scenery on both sides while tasting the Qinhuai food.

"The smoke is covered with cold water and moon is covered with gauze. I am mooring near the restaurant in Qinhuai at night; the businesswoman does not know the hatred of the country's destruction, and still sings the back garden flowers across the river." Hu Jin couldn't help but recite.

"This is Du Mu of the Tang Dynasty's "Bai Qinhuai"." Lingzi naturally read this poem.

"My sister is really familiar with poetry and books," Hu Jinkuai Lingzi: "I always tell me that my academic performance is not good. Are you too modest?"

"No, I just like literature, and everything else is extremely bad." Lingzi's face turned a little red. Maybe it was because she had a glass of wine just now.

"Then I will assign you a homework assignment and write a review after going back. What about the scenery of the Qinhuai River?" Hu Jin deliberately teased her.

"Really? I really miss the days when I wrote essays. I haven't written anything for more than three years. I wonder if I will write it anymore?" Lingzi smiled. Tonight, she was wearing that white cartoon T-shirt. The weather was hot. Lingzi tied her hair into two small braids and raised it to both sides. She was particularly playful and cute. It would not be an exaggeration to think that she was a junior high school student.

"I'm teasing you, so I don't want you to write any essays. We won't stop drunk tonight!" Hu Jin raised the small wine cup in his hand and touched the bell's cup, "It's done!"

"Cheers!" Lingzi smiled and drank it all. The bright moon, neon lights, food, and beautiful scenery are all perfect matches for fine wine. "You must be happy when you are in your life, don't let the golden cup face the moon empty!" Lingzi smiled foolishly. Today is the first time I got drunk in my life.

When she woke up again, it was already shining with sunshine. Lingzi's head hurt a little. She rubbed her eyes and sat up. Hu Jin was not in the hotel room and didn't know where she went.

I don’t remember what happened last night, I just remember being carried back to the hotel in a daze. It seemed that I had vomited in the middle. Someone helped her clean and change her clothes, and then... it was broken.

The temperature in the room was very comfortable, and the sun was shining outside and it felt like the temperature was not low. After all, Nanjing was a fire city, but it was not built. Soonzi stretched and felt that his life was perfect.

In just over a day, so many things happened. Suzuko was savoring in the quilt, thinking about it randomly, and her face turned red as she thought about it.

Let’s get up and wash while Hu Jin is not there. The room I stayed in this time is much more luxurious than that of the family hotel. When Linzi was wearing a wide bathrobe and blowing his hair, he was surprised to find that the girl in the mirror didn’t look like him anymore.

There is no place for the fucked and thin yellow-haired girl. The girl in the makeup mirror is bright and white, her eyes are shining and her face is rosy, as if she has become much plump overnight.

"Is this me? I have become beautiful. Is this the legendary love?" Suzuko smiled secretly while covering her face.

She changed into clean clothes, candy-colored cropped pants, paired with a white chiffon sleeveless doll shirt, and applied a light layer of lipstick. The girl in the mirror was fashionable and charming, and Suzuko was very satisfied with herself.

"Are you getting up?" Hu Jin swiped his card and entered the room. "Baby, you are so beautiful!" Hu Jin's eyes lit up. He was young after all. He had to dress up and then he was reborn in just a short time.

"Brother, where are you going?" Lingzi had packed her luggage and knew she should continue to set off.

"No hurry, I've eaten breakfast, it's probably not too early to get home." Hu Jinyangyangyangyang soup buns and tofu brain in his hand.

"The tofu brain here is really delicious, much better than the ones in the north. We only poured a layer of soy sauce on it and sprinkled some coriander. Look at the many ingredients here, there are shrimps and fungus!" Linzi said as much as a child.

"The soup buns are very hot, be careful not to burn them to the crying nose!" Hu Jin looked at her and reminded her in a worried way. Seeing a tofu brain hanging on the corner of Lingzi's mouth, he quickly wiped it off.
