Johan Cruyff

Few players can compare to superstars like Pele, Beckenbauer and Diego and Dieradona. Although they have not won any honors at the national team level and have only participated in the World Cup once for the national team, John Cruyff is undoubtedly comparable to these superstars. With his talent, the legend of Dutch football has won unquestionable reputation in the history of modern football.

Johnnis; Hendricus; Cruyff was born in Amsterdam on April 25, 1947, the second year after the end of World War II. Because of his mother's work, he grew up at the Amsterdam stadium and training center in Ajax. His father died of a heart attack when John was 12. Since he was a very young man, Cruyff has focused his attention on one thing: becoming a professional football player. He started regular training at the age of 7. Despite his mother's objection, he left school at the age of 13 and has since focused on sports development.

Legendary coach Rinus Michels discovered this thin young talent and designed training subjects for him to improve his fragile physical fitness and to withstand the harsh career of the future. Cruyff soon won the position in Ajax's main lineup. In 1966, at the age of 19, he won his first of nine Dutch League titles in total.

With his superb skills, he never fears the opponent's blockade. His elegant and superb skills quickly made Cruyff the focus of international football. He combines the offensive organizer, the last passer and the killer in front of the goal, and his passing ability is almost unprecedented.

He was also a leader off the court, confident and stubborn, and never gave up his opinion because he was afraid of making enemies. But every time he did, he was removed from his position as captain after the 13-3 vote of Ajax teammates in 1972. The arrogant and arrogant he showed in interviews often became the reason for his condemnation, "I don't think there will be a day when you mention Cruyff and people don't know what you are talking about." or "I won't make mistakes at all before I make mistakes" and other words come from his mouth.

Cruyff's speech was between honesty and arrogance, and the language was also very subtle. His roundabout thinking logic was also very famous when he made long speeches. He always proved himself right when summarizing, leaving frustration to his opponents. A famous columnist commented on his language like "pure prose". His words were also included in books and published in management seminars in the Netherlands.

For the greatest player in history, Cruyff's international career was short. His first appearance for the Dutch national team was against Hungary in September 1966. By October 1977, he last helped the Dutch team to qualify for the 1978 World Cup in Argentina, he participated in a total of 48 games for the "Orange Clothes". In the end, he was only called by the national team when there were important games.

Cruyff's greatest achievement in international competitions was to participate in the 1974 fifa World Cup finals in Germany. The Dutch team was not favored by people before the game and barely entered the finals. The players were not adapted to coach Renus; Michels' tactics. This magical team was unanimously recognized by the media around the world as the most promising team to win the championship after the first round.

This is the football style of all offense and defense founded by Cruyff. Although he is the center on the court, he is everywhere on the court and gives a big blow to his opponent. Other players move and change positions regularly according to changes on the court. The team's tactics keep the overall team intact, but players in the same position often change. This is a revolution in football concepts, which brings a brand new storm to the world football world.

This is what the Netherlands and Cruyff present to us. In the second round, the "Master" himself scored a goal, and in the 4-0 sweep of Argentina, he scored his first two goals in the World Cup, which is also considered the best match the Netherlands has played in this cup. In the subsequent match against East Germany, their momentum slowed down and won 2-0. The last game of the second round of the group stage was played by the Netherlands against Brazil.

, which is actually the real semifinal. After a rough game, the Netherlands struggled to pass 2-0. Cruyff scored the second goal of the Netherlands, which was one of his best international games. The goal happened when the game was 65 minutes after Cruyff received a pass from Krol in the middle, avoiding Leao's defensive volley and scoring the ball into the lower left corner of the goal.

Cruyff's outstanding performance was once again staged in the final, which was a fascinating start. Cruyff kicked off in the middle circle. After a 14-foot pass from the Dutch player, Cruyff suddenly stepped forward, throwing the vogts who were defending him, and was mixed up by Hoeness in the penalty area. Neeskens scored the penalty kick he received, and the German team had not touched the ball before. However, the Dutch team failed.

Maintaining their lead allowed the German team to regain the feeling of the game. The hosts used penalty kicks to tie the score, two minutes before the end of the first half; Gerd Mueller surpassed the score. In the second half, the Dutch team had no chance to knock on the goal guarded by Sep; Meyer (sepp maier) and eventually missed the championship. The title of best player Cruyff won could only barely become a comfort.

During the World Cup in Germany, Cruyff had announced that he would no longer participate in the next World Cup in Argentina, mainly because he did not want to leave home for so long. This reason and a series of arguments with the Dutch Football Association made Cruyff end his national team career prematurely.

However, Cruyff performed better in the club. From 1971 to 1973, he won the European Cup championship with Ajax for three consecutive years. In 1973, he transferred to Barcelona in Spain and won the league that year. He announced his retirement in 1978 and returned to the American Professional Football League in 1979. He played for two seasons in the United States, and was the Spanish second-tier team before he returned to Amsterdam Ajax in 1981.

Levent played less than 12 games. In 1983, he transferred to Ajax's main opponent, Feyenoord, where he won the domestic double for the new team as a player. After he was 35, Cruyff still surprisingly played some of his best games in his career, while being named Dutch Footballer in 1983 and 1984. The best player in Dutch history once again in 1984 and finally got his boots.
