181. Injury problems

(Read the full text of the Reading House without pop-up windows)

With the continuous collision between Chamberlain and James, the two teams started to attack. The Cavaliers felt hot, while the Warriors played resolutely. Both sides fought back and forth, and at the end of the first quarter, the Warriors scored a high score of 34:30, and the Warriors were four points behind.

In the last two minutes of the first quarter, the head coaches of the two teams changed into a substitute lineup. Compared with the opponent, the Warriors' bench depth has always been commendable, but they did not take advantage of it today. The Cavaliers are not easy to deal with. Gibson, who is second-year-old, is like a sharp knife, leading the Cavaliers to sway across the Warriors' territory.

Those who hate Chamberlain are not only the little emperor who has destroyed the All-Star MVP, but also his former guard Gibson. This guy has played against Chamberlain not long ago in the All-Star Rookie Challenge. That show that originally belonged to them was destroyed by the two stars Chamberlain and Durant. Gibson performed well in the sophomore team. If they win, the MVP of the Rookie Challenge may belong to him.

So, for Gibson, today is also a battle of revenge.

Old Nelson obviously didn't want to lose the victory of this game. He deployed new tactics on the tactical board. After the start of the second quarter, the main lineups such as Chamberlain, Billups and Ellis, who had just sat on the bench for a few minutes, came on the court again.

Recently, West, who was brave enough to sit on the bench, was eager to try. James and Gibson's unscrupulous scores made him jealous. He was looking forward to being able to play and teach these guys a lesson, but Old Nelson didn't even watch him. Obviously, he didn't trust him very much in such a key game.

This made West extremely frustrated, but it was normal. After all, there were Azubuk, Barnes, and Bellinelli, a group of strong players sitting on the bench. These people are all people who can play shooting guards.

The Cavaliers' lineup has been slightly changed, and the organization guard has been replaced by Daniel Gibson. This guy is an excellent point guard and has strong scoring ability. He combines speed and talent, has a broad vision, and can always give his opponent a fatal blow.

Now in the Cavaliers, Gibson is James' best helper. The Cavaliers' head coach Brown gave him a position similar to Ginobili's Spurs. He usually rarely starts, but is responsible for the substitute to charge. Gibson has always done a great job in this regard.

Seeing Chamberlain, Gibson was in high spirits, he quickly advanced to the frontcourt, facing Billups' defense, he hesitated for a moment and passed the ball to James.

"This is your fan, man, you have to treat him well." Chamberlain shouted at Bilups while playing with Big Ben. The NBA player Gibson admired the most is Bilups, but the two are destined to be different in the same type, and the latter's strength is beyond his reach.

Billups smiled and said meaningfully: "Of course I will treat him well."

James slowly slapped the ball, his eyes scanning the frontcourt like a blade, looking for a chance to break through. Jackson was worried. He suffered a lot in the first quarter when the two men played against each other, but in the Warriors, he was already the best person to limit James.

Szebiak made a move forward to cover it, and James took the ball and took a step back when his teammates came up. Jackson immediately followed without hesitation.

However, James' retreat was not to open the distance to shoot, but to create a buffer belt for the charge. He took two steps back and accelerated suddenly, as if a high-speed tank was driving with all his might.

Jackson retreated, Szebiak blocked him, and James rushed to the inside with a smooth road ahead.

Chamberlain was entangled by Big Ben, who entangled him madly with his terrifying upper limbs, trying to get him stuck behind him. Chamberlain was unwilling to be stuck and naturally rose up to resist. Two men as strong as steel warriors began to compete in the narrow penalty area. For a moment, muscles and muscles collided, and bones collided, and the wind and clouds surging in the penalty area.

Although Big Ben is no longer the invincible shield of steel as he grows older, his foundation is still there and he is still a monster with a wide range of nbas. Although Chamberlain is entangled with him, it will be difficult to easily deal with James.

Someone did this work for Chamberlain.

When the young emperor saw that Chamberlain, who was the most threatening to him, was still fighting with Ben Wallace, he gave up his plan to shoot the central bank and continued to accelerate the attack on the penalty area. He put the ball away and directly dunked it with the ball.

Ellis on the wing saw that James was so arrogant. You know that he had been standing next to him all the time. However, the little emperor didn't even look at him and decided to end the attack with a dunk. This made him angry.

Auntie, I can't bear it. When Ellis saw James put away the ball and wanted to lay up, he gritted his teeth and was cruel, and rushed forward with red eyes and reached out to grab James' arms. He knew very well that he could not block James' dunk, so he would be a foul. Anyway, he couldn't let the little emperor have a good life.

As a result, he underestimated the kinetic energy brought by the little emperor during the attack and his own strength. The two of them met in the air. Ellis reached out to scratch James' arms and scratched the other person in the air. He felt even more uncomfortable and was directly knocked out of the slant.

The little emperor was almost pulled down, and staggered several steps after landing before he stood firm. Ellis was even more miserable and flew directly into the press seat at the basket.

The referee blew the whistle quickly and Ellis fouled, which was undoubtedly true, but Chamberlain was very satisfied with his performance and said to Bilups with a smile: "In our culture, there is a saying that is 'I am willing to sacrifice myself and dare to take the emperor off'. It is the most appropriate to describe Ellis."

The two of them were joking and going forward to pull Ellis up, but after they got to the basket, they found that something was wrong. Ellis crouched on the floor with pain, his hands turned around to protect his back, and beads of sweat as big as beans rolled down from his cheeks, quickly forming a small puddle on the floor.

Chamberlain's face suddenly changed. He was about to go to La Ellis, but Billups pulled him and turned around and shouted: "Team Doctor, call the team doctor up. Damn it, Monta may be injured, hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!"

Old Nelson knew that there was something wrong when he saw Ellis lying on the floor but couldn't get up. So he decisively called a timeout, and then the team doctor who had been ready to go with the team finally had a place to use it and ran over quickly to check Ellis's physical condition.

Chamberlain and others were anxiously surrounded. James hesitated for a moment and went forward and asked, "What's wrong? Is there anything you need help?"

Jackson shouted angrily: "You help a bird? You are so happy now, Monta is probably injured!"

Chamberlain glared at Jackson sternly, interrupting him and said, "Boss Jack, this matter has little to do with LeBron and the others. We should be hostile to them, but not in this matter."

Ellis' injury does not have much to do with James, although he is the direct person in charge, his dunk had already started to rush out just now. As long as people who are not confused know that there is no need to stop him, but Ellis made a stubborn moment and chose to collide with LeBron.

James knew that the Warriors players were in a bad mood now like a powder barrel, so he didn't say anything else, shrugged and returned to his bench after making a helpless posture.

The team doctor made a simple diagnosis for Ellis, then found someone to use it as a stretcher, fixed Ellis' waist, lifted it up, and left the court directly.

"Man, is Monta okay?" Chamberlain asked the team doctor with a lucky mentality.

The team doctor looked solemn and said, "If there is anything, you need to check it in detail before you can make a conclusion, but what is certain is that he will not be able to play in this game."

After hearing this, the Warriors were filled with mourning voices. Old Nelson frowned tightly, almost able to kill a fly. The injury of his players was definitely a disaster for him, especially because this person was the best outside scorer under his command. However, he didn't have time to mourn this because there was still a bunch of messes waiting for him to deal with, and the timeout was only ten seconds.

The most urgent task now is to fill the loopholes left by Ellis. Old Nelson turned his attention to the defenders around him. Azubuk hurriedly rubbed his hands, and Belinelli also held his head up and looked proud and proud. Chamberlain's words made the two of them weak: "Poss, I think Deronti should be allowed to play at this time, because we have been playing too dull and need to go crazy."

Old Nelson thought for a moment, and the three referees had already urged him, and finally he made up his mind to wave his hand: "Okay, Deronti West, go up and give these bitches a little color to the Cleveland countrymen who are raised by these bitches!"

West was not enthusiastic about Ellis' injury before. In fact, in the entire Warriors, he only had two friends, one was Chamberlain, and the other two "half friends", that is Jackson and Evans. Therefore, Ellis' injury was not bad news for him. He just paid attention to this matter purely with the mood of an ordinary teammate.

This was a very amazing change for West, and he would have gloated if his teammates were injured when the Celtics and the Supersonics were in the past, especially the shooting guard who competed for playing time.

In addition to replacing Ellis with West, Old Nelson also adjusted the lineup. Pitrus and Harrington were at the same time. They will form the Warriors' forward group. The two's mission is to jointly control the Little Emperor, hand it over to Chamberlain in the interior, and Billups and West were entertained on the outside.

The little emperor made two free throws. According to the NBA regulations, the home team had no right to call a timeout during the visiting team's free throws, but today he encountered Ellis and was injured, which is an exception.
