Chapter 23 The Hunter

The ugly prototype gradually took shape, and the pale substance became transparent, revealing the huge skeletons. The amniotic fluid-like membrane bubbles shrink and wrap around, clinging to the surface of the skeletons, slowly turning black and hardening into black fascia.

The hook claws popped up, the fangs appeared, and a void heart lit up the empty shell. The empty eye sockets were flashing with purple malice, making it a deadly hunter.

The black flames' tentacles put down the monster and retracted back to the abyss. The hunter let out a hungry roar. The abyss behind him then stretched out several tentacles again, grabbed the goat that had survived from the ruins and started to transform.

At the same time, countless eyes emerged from the abyss, and empty spirits were descending into this world.

The predator looks like a tiger bone wrapped in only a membrane, but his spine is short, his chest cavity and no abdominal cavity. It is empty and only a heart is wrapped, and only his limbs have extremely thick muscles.

It was supported by the legendary demonic head of sheep, and two rows of needle teeth with comb teeth, each of which was enough to penetrate the bones. The translucent membrane exuded a vicious purple light, and bent its forelimbs and approached Kaisha step by step.

"Is this the goat from before?"

Kesha's teeth trembled, and her huge figure, which was twice her shoulder height, made her instinctively feel fear.

But Kesha is not a little girl who can't walk because she's afraid.

While she retreated, she raised her hand to summon the fist blade.

The tip of the fist blade aimed at the hunter's chest at the angle of elevation, and the heart that pulsates with light pulsating light was beating in it, and waves of evil light surged through the internodes.

The purple plasma bomb slashed the dim space, the plasma tore the fascia, but it was re-stitched in a light mesh, becoming harder than before.

"Is this why ascenators who have been eroded by the void can all be bloody magic?"

Seeing this, Kane realized that he could never fight these hunters in a group of empty spirits, otherwise it would absorb the flesh and blood of weak creatures nearby. Not only would it not be able to kill them, but it would also become stronger and stronger as it beats.

It seems to prove Kane's guess that the monster noticed the goat at his feet.

The thick claws easily pulled open the boulder and leaned over to swallow it in one bite. The flesh and bones were corrupted into strange slurry by the void energy, becoming part of the hunter and strengthened its torso.

The bizarre Lu Li in front of him shocked Kaisha's three views. The void monster turned from a goat actually ate another goat, which was a situation she could not imagine.

The tentacles in the abyss also transformed other living sheep into huge hunters. The swarm of virtual spirit insects climbed ashore and fed the goat's corpses in groups in the ruins.

Wherever they reach, there is a terrifying stench. The sharp teeth tear open the joints, the carapace absorbs the splashing blood, and even the bones are not spared.

Kesha began to understand the nature of void.

The scene in front of her reminded her of the scene where the Kemi group hunted Scarus. Although she cried so hard for the death of the docile giant beast, she would not hate the hunter because of this.

The animals on the ground fight are just because of hunger, not evil; the reason for killing creatures in voids is purely because you are a living creature.

The void is the mortal enemy that all living beings cannot compromise on!

The crust mask covered Kaisha's face.

She quickly walked to Kane and said, "Sorry, our mutton meal was ruined..."

Kaisha was very reluctant to let go. Although the mask would swallow her tears, she rarely cried now.

To her surprise, Kane actually understood her twisted pronunciation, or guessed directly what she said.

"What else do you want to have a big meal of mutton? Escape is important!"

Kane looked at the hunters who were leaping up on the ruins, and the distance he crossed was beyond his short legs and ten steps. He was so anxious that he knocked on Kesha's helmet hard.

Kesha bent her knees and raised Kane, and the armor on her legs bounced away, limiting the terrifying speed of the explosion, and trying her best to escape from the abyss.

She ran up the slope, and the air was squeezed away in front of her, forming a purple hemispherical hood rushing into the tunnel, dragging a long glimpse behind her.

The hunters were pulled far apart in a few breaths, and even Kane's consciousness network could not be noticed.

After running for a few minutes, Kesha's speed gradually slowed down. The long-term sprint would overheat her body, as if she was in a high-temperature oven.

Void skin nails are not omnipotent. Although most of the heat can be absorbed by the second skin through sweat, if the remaining small part of the heat is not discharged in time, it may still burn her internal organs.

"Don't goats eat grass? Why did they become such a cruel hunter..." Kaisha couldn't suppress her confusion and asked while running.

"What I have taught you is that being infused with void energy that is far beyond the limit of the body will make the creature lose consciousness instantly and the body is dominated by void transformation. Not to mention habits, even gender is gone."

Kane patted Kaisha on the shoulder and asked her to listen to his next words: "But now these are not the point, the point is that I discovered the relationship between the sacrifice of living animals and the abyss."

"What is it?" Kaisha seemed very surprised. Some of her mind was thinking about how to make mutton better. It was difficult for a little girl to relate those little things when she noticed them.

The growth environment has a great impact on a person, and the education that Kesha has received has not developed her logical thinking.

"The goats did not fall on the edge of the abyss by chance, but because the cultists deliberately chose the place of sacrifice above the abyss."

Kane mentioned this and Kesha had some impression. She began to think about this, and the more she thought it was possible.

"It seems like this... The first abyss we see, the dome also broke a closed sinkhole... Ah! I understand - those people are paying tribute to the void and using live bait to lead out the monsters at the other end of the abyss."

The artificially created monsters to cause a natural disaster, and the evil level of this cult is far beyond Keisha's imagination. She used to think that the members of the clan were really using sacrifice to help them get peace.

This kind of crazy behavior can only be done by rape! It is despised! tui~

Kane looked up and seemed to have passed through layers of land and saw the precarious world on the ground.

People dance under the crescent moon, tie animals to stakes... They don't know what they are facing. Their intention is to get rid of monsters, but everything they do is ringing the bell for the meal.

"You're right, Kesha."

"The cults use this method to increase the power of the void. If the number of void creatures underground increases to a certain extent, they will spread upwards and get closer to the surface."

"In the end, they will be attracted by the movements of people on the ground, breaking out of the ground to devour the scattered villages and even towns in the desert."

"Repeat the same mistake."
