Chapter 9 Baptism

After teaching the tree house, fire and weaving, he also passed on the making of stone weapons.

Within a few months, the goblin tribe also tasted the benefits and continued to have faith in him, the God of Thunder.

When making the stone spear, a few goblins got the inspiration from nowhere and actually built a statue for him.

Although the stone looked very rough, with only a vague human shape, it was as blurry as if a large bucket of cement had been poured on the statue.

But this was the goblin's wish anyway. Lin Hai placed him in the center of the goblin tribe. Every morning, they would surround the statue and shout.

"God of Thunder!" a certain tree elf leader shouted.

"Ahhh!" This is a group of goblins in a mess.

After receiving God's care, the goblins seemed to begin to change and become a little smarter.

It's just that I can't tell it at all in these few months.

Every day you receive new things, new clothes, new weapons, and new tree houses.

All of this made them sincerely grateful for His existence.

"Ahhhh!!"

With the new weapons, they can catch more prey, such as small animals about the same size as rabbits. Although they are not as abundant as rabbits in Australia, there are still many.

There are them everywhere in the forest, and every hunt comes back with a full load.

Apex predators are rare, but not impossible. Lin Hai watched a goblin being carried back by them.

His chest had been completely torn open, his flesh and blood were blurred, and three claw marks were very obvious.

"Ahhhh..."

Lin Hai listened for a moment and then murmured, "Is it the Shadow Leopard?"

"Ahhh."

"He can't be saved." Lin Hai shook his head and watched with pity as he was buried in the earth.

He can already understand the words of the goblins. Although their expression ability is limited, they can at least communicate.

He watched these little guys burying the bodies of their companions, and looked at them with a slight sadness.

He has already lived here and has no more evasion. The goblins don't dare to go to his tree house at all.

It's just that he's not around a lot of the time, often walking in the woods and reading the endless book of heaven and earth.

Their faith in him remained unchanged, and they shouted and danced around his statue every morning.

"Thank you...the God of Thunder."

"God of Thunder..."

These thoughts are very simple and very true.

Sometimes, he would set out with the fruit-picking goblins and watch them pick fruits. He would hand over a hook to the places they couldn't pick.

Let a group of goblins easily collect the fruits from higher places, and stop them when they want to pick the green fruits together.

Take two fruits, one ripe and one green, and use your actions to tell them that the green fruit is not yet ripe and can be picked next time.

Then, he would occasionally let the goblins carry a young seedling that they considered useless, and take it back and plant it in an open field.

Sometimes, he would join the goblins who made spears, watching them use flat and sharp stone blades to cut branches, break them apart, and tie them up with hemp rope.

He would guide them with actions, such as tying a rope under the crack, and with just a slight shake, the stone blade would fall down.

Or it may not be tied tightly, and the stone blade will fall off quickly. He will use these examples of failure to tell them why it is tied in this position.

Learning these things is easy, but once he is gone, will there be no progress?

No, he wants to guide them to make progress and grow on their own.

Most goblins would just admire him and chant 'Ahhhh'.

But there are always a few goblins who exude a light called wisdom and think about why this is the case.

Although the light was weak, it was enough to make him feel happy.

He didn't know whether it was right or wrong to open up wisdom to them. He thought a little darker, whether they would think of ways to steal his power after they gained their own independent consciousness.

Will you have other thoughts, betray him, not believe in him, or even want to defeat him?

After sitting on the top of the tree all night, dewdrops wet his shawl hair, and his eyes contained an inexplicable light.

If they want to overthrow him and fight against him when they grow up, then let them do it.

So far, is the idea that has kept him going so far really the belief in becoming a god?

It is more of a mentality called farming and cultivating.

He is like an old farmer tending a field of rice seedlings and watching them grow.

What he was thinking about was the joy of harvest and the process of fighting for it.

Lin Hai, whose upper body was still bare, was wearing a knee-length apron woven with linen, and his body was toned and well-proportioned with strong muscles.

He listened to the loud shouts coming from below and slid down from the tree more than ten meters high.

Bang——

Lin Hai straightened up from the ground, leaving two deep barefoot marks on the spot.

"Ah ah ah -" the goblin at the door shouted happily, reporting the news of the new baby to the God of Thunder who had created all this.

"I know, I will baptize her." Lin Hai said with a smile.

In the house built under the tree, an old goblin's skin was slightly wrinkled, and there were spots on his light gray skin. He was already old.

He wrapped a bloody baby in a soft linen cloth, raised it high, and sent it to Lin Hai.

"Ahhh..." With a look of reverence on his face, the older goblin sent the first child born in this hot season to the God of Thunder.

Lin Hai took the little gnome, which was only a little bigger than his hand. The wrinkled skin had not yet dried, and the umbilical cord on the belly had not yet been cut.

The light gray skin is very delicate, the head looks extremely big, close to the eyes, and it makes a cry from time to time.

"ah--"

The voice is childish, yet full of life.

Lin Hai showed a heartfelt smile, "People treat me with sincerity, and I treat others with sincerity."

He freed his right hand, and a gentle energy surged, showing traces of blue-white electricity in his palm.

"A newborn of the goblin clan, this is the beginning of your legend. This mountain range cannot restrict your footprints."

"You will leave your name on this land, and you will leave traces in the history books of all ethnic groups."

"Your enemies will curse you, and that is your glory."

"Your people will cheer for you, and that is your glory."

"And you will become the most dazzling star in the sky."

In the eyes of the goblins, the God of Thunder tapped her forehead gently, and a dim lightning mark appeared.

Lin Hai gently put down his hand. He had just performed three body baptisms on this little goblin. From now on, her growth limit will be much higher than that of other goblins.

He has experienced countless thunder and lightning baptisms, and his body is no longer like a mortal. Ordinary blades cannot cause much damage to his body.

After the baptism, the little goblin with his eyes closed opened his eyes and grinned at Lin Hai, showing his sparse teeth.

"Ahh——"
