9. Chapter 9 Pressed on the bed

"woke up?"

A gentle and mellow question sounded in his ears. Looking at the sound, he saw a man in a white shirt standing in front of the window and smiling at himself. The curtains beside him were gently floating in the wind, and the sunlight surrounded him, giving people a kind of illusory warmth.

Looking at his strange and familiar face, a chaotic picture penetrated into her mind. In the evening, An Ran remembered who this person was.

"Thank you." He didn't say thank you for saving his life, but she just said thank you, but she knew that this person understood what she meant.

"You're welcome, this is what I should do." The man walked to Anran's bed with a light pace and said in a harmonious voice: "Try moving and see if there are any discomforts."

An Ran nodded, moved his body as he said, and found that except for the pain in his knees, his left hand seemed to be unable to move. He slowly raised his hand and found that his left hand, except for his fingers, was wrapped tightly in white gauze from the bend of his arms to his wrist.

"My hand..." An Ran felt panicked, looked up at him who was close to him, and couldn't continue to ask.

She has been studying music for three years and doesn't want to give up halfway.

"I'm sorry, the momentum was too strong when I saved you yesterday, and your wrist was broken." The man looked at her hand deeply, his eyes full of apology.

"No, it's not your fault, it's me." An Ran smiled sadly, lowered his head and stopped talking.

He saved her, why did she feel embarrassed to blame him? What's more, this result is better than losing her life.

"No, you are very good, you are very strong." It makes people feel distressed. The man did not say the following words, but just smiled and looked at her quietly. A light flashed through his deep black eyes, and then disappeared.

"Haha..." An Ran smiled a little reluctantly, and looked up and hit her deep black eyes. The pupils seemed to have a lot of magic power, and they were about to suck her entire body inside. Fortunately, her mind was still awake. Before she fell into the dark pupils, she pulled herself back, and missed his black eyes slightly, looked at the bright glass window, and asked, "Who are you? It wasn't a coincidence that she appeared there yesterday?"

Although the words were questions, the tone was affirmative.

This man is not like an ordinary person. Although his every move does not show anything and is trying his best to make himself look ordinary, the huge aura that occasionally emits on him is not something that anyone can possess.

Such a person appears by her side, making people doubt the chance of things.

"Oh? How do you know it's not a coincidence?" Hearing her words, a flash of surprise flashed in the man's eyes, and a curve slightly curled up at the corners of his lips.

"It may be just a coincidence when I was hit, but at the moment I fainted, you still arrived in time... I think no matter how coincidental it is, it wouldn't be that coincidental, right?" An Ran looked up slightly at him with a smile.

Although she didn't know how many roads she had walked after leaving the accident scene, she thought it wouldn't be less? If she hadn't followed her all the time, how could he have arrived as soon as she fainted?

"Haha, I really don't understand. How come you are such a smart person who can misjudgment people." The man chuckled and muttered in a low voice, and then said with a look on his face: "My name is Octavia, I came to you specially. I just didn't expect that we would meet under such a special situation."

"Look for me? We know each other?" An Ran was stunned when she heard this strange name. She never remembered that she knew such a person.

"No, you don't know me." Looking at the confusion in her eyes, Octavia knew what she was thinking. He turned around and took out a beautiful box from the briefcase placed on the cabinet, hesitated for a moment, and handed it to her: "This is the gift from your mother, she said... she can't come."

When An Ran heard the word "mother", he had already pale face, and even the last trace of blood disappeared. He just stared at the extremely exquisite box quietly, and his body was so stiff that he could not say anything.

"You..." Seeing that she was just looking at the box in her hand quietly, but she didn't take it. Mingrui's eyes darkened slightly. Just as she was about to say something, she was interrupted by An Ran.

"Tell her that she doesn't have to worry about it. The wedding has been cancelled and she is wasting her whole heart. By the way, how long have I been sleeping?" An Ran turned his eyes away and never looked at the gift box in his hand again.

That woman never appeared when she was most difficult and needed her the most. How could she expect her to appear now?

"A day or two nights, even if the wedding is cancelled, this gift is her whole heart. If you don't want it, you can return it to her in person in the future." Octavia said as she wanted to hand the box in front of her, but she subconsciously turned sideways, as if the exquisite gift box was poisonous.

"No need, there is always a reason to give gifts. I have no reason to accept them now. I have other things to do, so I have to leave first." An Ran said coldly, sat up from the bed, turned over and was about to get out of bed.

Seeing that she suddenly turned over and got out of bed, even regardless of the dropper drip on her right hand, her heart suddenly jumped, and quickly grabbed her with her eyes and pressed her whole body on the bed. The force was so strong that it seemed like a huge rock that was pressing on her shoulders, and she immediately pressed An Ran so hard that she could not move.

Unexpectedly, he would do this suddenly. An Ran brows and thrust his body upwards and wanted to get up, but he used force again and pressed her down again. He placed his hands firmly on her shoulders, controlling her body, making her unable to move. But strangely, although he used a lot of force, she did not feel any pain, but she could not move all over her body.

"What do you want? I said, I don't want this gift." An Ran was very angry and looked up and glared at the person above him.
