Chapter 78 Bargaining

"Stop, close your eyes." Harry spoke, shouting in Parseltongue.

Except the rooster.

The best way to deal with the basilisk is the Parselmouth. This creature has almost no resistance to the snake whisperer, and they obey the orders of any Parselmouth.

But it's no use.

The basilisk was still rolling and twisting, crawling towards them quickly. The snake hesitated and repeated the word "kill, kill..."

Nothing happens.

Didn't you hear it?

He shouted again, but the basilisk still didn't stop and was so aggressive.

"Snake talk is useless?" Snape's face darkened.

Scrimgeour turned his head away in surprise and astonishment, and almost couldn't help but open his eyes. The little wizard of Gryffindor could actually know the Parseltongue of Slytherin?

"It's useless. The ossicles should have been dug out." Harry shook his head. "It can't hear me. I don't know if the rooster's crow is still useful to it."

"It's me." Snape's voice was cold, "Snake Eye Potion, you can sense living things without opening your eyes, as long as you are not so stupid that you can't tell which one is the basilisk and which one is us."

"The basilisk's teeth and eyes are mine." Snape said coldly.

Scrimgeour held the medicine bottle and hesitated. He really couldn't trust Snape: "Potter, have you drunk it?"

"Don't hold back, my dear Head of the Auror Office." Snape rushed out first, waved his wand, and the four long tables twisted and moved.

He grabbed the sword, pulled it out violently, flew out, and fell heavily on Scrimgeour.

Scrimgeour was the first to open his eyes and looked at the Sorting Hat with his face in surprise: "Oh... Sorting Hat, why are you here?"

"Don't peck the basilisk's eyes!" he shouted with concern.

After a few steps, Snape sneered: "If I were you, I wouldn't be so anxious to die."

"It works!" Scrimgeour cheered in surprise.

Scrimgeour waved his magic wand, and the chairs at the Ravenclaw table suddenly transformed into several roosters with beautiful feathers.

Warm blood splashed all over Harry's face.

Fox was very reluctant and hooked the tips of his paws on the blanket in disgust.

A golden shield enveloped his body, and Harry prepared to step forward with his sword.

It took Scrimgeour a while to react.

Scrimgeour was stunned for a moment, unable to react.

"I don't have to." Harry shook his head, "Hurry up, either drink or hide."

"I need it too." Harry said firmly, "I can give you some of the snake skin, snake meat, and snake bones."

Scrimgeour was stunned: "Potter? What is this..."

He took out a bottle of magic potion and drank it.

A sword thrust down hard!

With a clanging sound, he pierced the snake's skin, but missed the skull. The bone, which was harder than steel, prevented him from piercing it.

In the auditorium.

Suddenly a burst of magic twists.

They chirp loudly.

I didn't do anything. I just used the transformation spell to transform into a few roosters. They are still crowing and annoying. I waved my magic wand to dispel the effect of the transformation spell.

The basilisk's breath gradually weakened, and it returned to light. It struggled harder and harder, and threw Harry down.

"This basilisk is enough for you to make four or five pairs of those ridiculous armors." Snape sneered, but then he waved his wand, and the evil and sharp magic struck at the same place.

Harry's expression changed: "Fox!"

Harry cast a seal again, purple runes lingered, and the twisted movements of the basilisk slowed down. Following the smell of blood, he stabbed hard with his sword.

Then press the hilt of the sword to use force to jump onto the snake's body.

The five snakes were entangled together like mating, and the basilisk struggled, but it could not exert much strength under the crowing of the rooster.

He stepped forward.

Harry followed closely behind.

"That's a very rare material." Harry waved his wand, and his robe turned into a blanket, flying high into the sky. "After we kill the basilisk later, we'll cover its eyes."

"Arden!"

The basilisk stopped and twisted in pain.

Fox let out a "croak" and was a little confused. It...it was arranged here by Dumbledore to deal with the basilisk. The Phoenix was not afraid to look at the basilisk.

"The snake is not dead." Harry shook his head and explained, "It's not dead, and it can still bite you."

Igni!

The flaming lava penetrated along the wound, burning the bones. Harry stabbed the sword again, and this time it was successful. It penetrated into the snake's brain, and then used his wrist to stir it up.

Fawkes took the opportunity to throw down the blanket, put the whole phoenix on it, sat cross-legged to hold it in place, and then cried loudly to remind Harry that I have done what you, wretched brat, told me to do.

"I'm not here, where should I be?" The Sorting Hat poked Harry's leather armor with the tip of its hat, "Harry, I'm going to kiss him. Get up quickly. I don't want this. The last one

It was Rowena who kissed me."

He gritted his teeth and took the potion.

Hiding?

As an Auror, his duties prevent him from doing such a thing.

Phoenix responded happily.

"The Big Four injected ideas into me, and Rowena chose to use this method." The Sorting Hat will always inadvertently say something that can overturn the history of magic.

Scrimgeour got up and looked at the huge corpse of the basilisk and the three huge snakes still firmly fixed on the basilisk's body, feeling a little confused: "Is it dead?"

That's Ravenclaw's name.

The Sorting Hat translated: "Hey, Harry, you can open your eyes now."

"Those things are of no use to me." Snape tried not to look at Harry's face and eyes so that he could bargain with him calmly.

After hesitating for a moment, he lowered his head, opened his eyes, found Scrimgeour's feet, quickly closed his eyes, and reached out to hand over a bottle of magic potion.

It transformed into four huge snakes and pounced on the basilisk.

And, the furthest away from myself.

Snape waved his wand again, and the basilisk hissed in pain. Huge, deep scars were scratched on its body, almost as if out of thin air, and precisely cut into its blood vessels.

It is a phoenix!

To be assigned to do such a thing.

This is an attack in a symbolic sense, and physical defects cannot be an obstacle.

After saying that, he paused: "Director Scrimgeour, your transformation is very good, but it has little effect in combat, so you can only get one-tenth of the loot. What do you think?"

The cry of the phoenix, the breath as hot as fire, was Dumbledore's previous spell.

Snape sneered: "It's the basilisk that's deaf, not us. There's no need to remind you of such an obvious thing."

He felt, stepped on the scales, Snape waved his wand, and one of the snakes turned into a handrail, placed at both ends of Harry's side, allowing him to smoothly walk to the snake's head.

A huge and elongated basilisk, the red color on its body is almost painful as it burns the eyeballs.

"Queen!"

His eye sockets felt hot, and three red shadows appeared in his empty vision. One was tall, and it was Snape, and the other was short, and it was Potter, but the red on his body was a bit brighter than Snape's.

"I don't think she will kiss you." Harry stood up expressionlessly.

This made him feel a little distressed: "Professor, be gentle and at least keep the snake skin intact."

Pfft——

"I can help you get a piece of armor." Harry threw out the chip.

Snape didn't answer at all: "I don't need that stupid stuff."

Scrimgeour was stunned.

The atmosphere of Hogwarts is really good...
