Chapter 2 Fairy Tail(1/2)

Mirajane packed up the tableware and left, and soon returned, bringing someone with her.

A man of peculiar shape.

——The body is as fat as a giant ball, but the limbs are very slender, and the face is not fat at all, which feels very uncoordinated.

Based on his previous experience of watching Conan, Rhodes suspected that the fat man was fake.

Mirajane introduced: "This is Lidas, Lidas."

After Rhodes repeated it, Lidas also greeted Rhodes.

Rhodes found that the four people he saw after waking up were all very unique, so beautiful and strange that it was difficult to forget them.

Under Rhode's puzzled expression, Lidas took out his paintbrush and drawing board and quickly started drawing on his round belly.

First I drew Rhodes, and then I drew the old man who just left.

Then... two people actually jumped off Lidas' body and started moving!

"Magical brush Ma Liang? Super beast fake painting?" Rhodes immediately thought of the story he knew.

Lidas couldn't understand what Rhodes said and just continued painting.

A forest emerged, and two little people entered the forest and started performing.

'Rhode' fell to the ground in the forest, and the 'old man''s arms stretched out, and he picked up Rhodes with both hands and took him away.

Then the pink-haired lady appears, pouring medicine into 'Rhode', and then there are familiar plots such as 'Rhode' waking up and 'Mirajane' entering the door.

Rhodes was stunned. He understood that Mr. Lidas was explaining the situation to him in this way.

He can indeed understand it, but... this method is too fantastic.

If it's not some high-tech projection technology, then it's... magic? Spells?

After a few villains demonstrated the situation, they turned into puddles of paint and flew to the drawing board as Lidas waved his brush.

Then he took out a few drawing papers and showed them to Rhodes.

The first one was a map, which marked the forest where Rhodes passed out and his current location.

The second picture shows a wooden structure building, which is probably the house where it is now.

The third picture is a ‘big group photo’, with dozens of people in the picture.

Rhodes stared at the third picture for the longest time. He easily found the short old man, Mirajane and Lidas.

Then... I also saw a few familiar characters.

Natsu, Happy, Erza, Gray!

"Fairy Tail?"

Although it was unbelievable, Rhodes finally realized where he was in the world.

If this is the case, then the strange beast, the magic of Lidas, and the special images and colorful hair of the people I have seen all make sense!

But why Fairy Tail?

If it's Pirates and Naruto, Rhodes knows more about the plot. Fairy Tail...he's really not familiar with it!

I was able to recognize the people above because a roommate posted some posters in the dormitory.

Except for those few people and Wendy and Lucy who are not in the picture, Rhodes knows almost nothing about Fairy Tail!

Mirajane noticed Rhode's expression: "What's wrong? Is there anyone you know here?"

Rhodes heard the voice and looked at her confusedly.

"Sorry, I forgot again." Mirajane said regretfully, "It would be great if Rebby was here, maybe she can understand what you are saying."

Lidas asked: "Can't you ask Wo Lian to communicate with him?"

Mirajane said: "Even Wo Lian's 'talking' magic can only transmit the sound to the other person's mind, and things that are incomprehensible are still incomprehensible."

"Then... teach him to speak our language directly?"

Mirajane nodded: "This is the only way to do it now, although it is a little less efficient. I hope Lebby can find other ways."

"If you need my help, just ask." Lidas raised his brush, indicating that he could help with the illustrations during the teaching, and they were three-dimensional animations.

"Well, I'll have to trouble you then, Lidas."

——

Rod's literacy lessons soon began.

He is in a very complicated mood now and doesn't know what to do even if he wants to go back to school.

And it's so dangerous here. Maybe you won't be so lucky next time you go out and get eaten by wolves.

For a moment, Rhodes didn't know what to do, so he simply listened to the other party's arrangements.

Since he is the protagonist's friend, he probably doesn't have any bad intentions.

After realizing that the other party wanted to teach him how to read and speak, Rhodes started learning actively.

No matter what you want to do next, you must first solve the communication problem.

Mirajane found a textbook that looked like a literacy textbook for kindergarten children from nowhere, and used the information on it to teach Rhodes how to read.

What she uses to assist her teaching is a magical pen that can write light characters of different colors in the air.

Seeing Rhode's curious look, Mirajane simply went out and borrowed a light pen to teach him how to use it step by step.

She guessed that Rhodes might have never seen magic before.

Rhodes found it strange that magic props could be used by people who did not understand magic.

Or can he be considered a magician as long as he holds this pen?

Perhaps because there was really nothing else to do, Rhodes' attention was quite concentrated.

His literacy lessons went quickly, and it didn't take long for Rod to master the basic syllables.

The next step is to move on to learning specific words.

It's just that Mirajane seems to be very busy. Every once in a while, someone comes to her with a piece of paper to register and stamp it.

It's a pity that Rhodes doesn't know the characters on it yet and doesn't know what it says.

Some people came and left in a hurry, while others curiously asked about Rhodes' situation.

Mirajane patiently explained to everyone, and also introduced the names of these people to Rhodes.

It's a pity that there are too many people, and if you don't understand the meaning purely from pronunciation, I tried to remember so many names but ended up not remembering any of them.

And the more people came to see Mirajane, the more embarrassed Rhode became.

——He seems to have delayed Miss Mirajane's work, and also caused a lot of trouble for other people's work.

Mirajane didn't care about this, after all, it was something the president asked her to do.

Moreover, everyone only came to her to register tasks, and the distance between the infirmary and the lobby was not that far, so everyone wouldn't care after understanding the reason.

"you."

"you."

"I."

"I."

Mirajane taught her word for word, and Rod was like a child learning to speak, following her like a parrot.

Mirajane pointed to her eyes: "Eyes."

"Eye."

"look."

"look."

Rhodes found that Mirajane's eyes were very beautiful. He thought they had black pupils, but upon closer inspection he found they were light blue.

Her trademark double eyelids make her eyes look big and energetic, and her eyelashes are not long but just right.

The thin eyebrows drooped slightly, looking very gentle, but paired with the droopy corners of the eyes, it seemed a bit sad.

But once she smiles, her eyes will curl into slits, making her look more approachable.

"Rod?"

"Ah, I'm sorry." Rhodes realized that he was a little distracted.

"It's okay, the class time seems a bit long." Mirajane looked at the time and stood up gently on her knees, "Wait a moment, I'll get some food."

Mirajane said it again, matching the gesture.

Rhodes seemed to understand a word or two, and by matching the other person's gestures, he could barely guess what she meant.

Only then did he notice that the sky had darkened before he knew it, and he accidentally took a half-day foreign language class.
