4. There is nothing trivial in clinical practice

The next day, early morning.
Emergency Department.
Su Jie came to the emergency department early to report. He originally wanted to go directly to Director Li, but after asking a nurse, he found out that Director Li had gone out for a meeting last night and had not been in the department recently.
And then...then he was ignored.
There is no free time in the emergency department. Everyone is busy with their own affairs, and no one pays attention to a new intern doctor.
The ringing sound was like chewing Xuanmai, and it couldn't stop at all. Su Jie felt that the nurse who answered the phone was about to cry, so he almost pulled off some tape and tied the phone to his ear.
Flat cars were coming in and out, and there was an endless stream of patients. The scene was so chaotic that Su Jie did not dare to act rashly.
After waiting for almost an hour, an enthusiastic training doctor showed up, rescued him, and brought him to the old attending doctor in charge of the internship.
Su Jie stood in the corner, as if he were a follower, looking awkwardly at the two doctors who looked at him with disgust.
"Why are you assigning me another intern? I've only taken one before and it's so annoying. I won't take this one!"
"Brother Jiang, if you don't take care of me, and I don't take care of you, who will take care of the intern doctor? It's your turn this time, don't be so shameless!"
"It's not that I'm being rude. You also know how stupid the intern doctor I brought last time was. When I was tired of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, I asked him to help me perform two rounds of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. He went straight up and broke six of her ribs! It's detailed.
You have thin arms and legs, but where does that strength come from?"
"Brother Jiang, please stop talking. The intern doctor I brought before was not much better. I asked him to help me deliver a blood sample. Is it okay if he just got lost? I rushed into the morgue. In the end, I had to go and collect it.
He caught it back, he is really my biological ancestor!"
The two haggled for a while, and finally the doctor surnamed Jiang walked up to Su Jie with an unlucky look on his face:
"you and me!"
His tone was partly unwilling and partly frustrated. He looked at Su Jie and looked at him with displeasure.
This doctor named Jiang looks to be in his thirties, has messy hair, two deep nasolabial lines, and looks very difficult to get along with.
Su Jie immediately nodded respectfully: "Hello, Teacher Jiang, my name is Su Jie."
"Jiang Wu, just call me Dr. Jiang. The emergency department is different from the department you practiced in before. The situation is very complicated and the patients are difficult to deal with. Here, talk less and work more." Jiang Wu said in a dull voice.
Su Jie was a little embarrassed, but still explained: "Mr. Jiang... Doctor, I am a new batch of clinical interns. I have never been in a clinical setting before..."
"?"
Jiang Wu looked at Su Jie with wide eyes, seemingly in disbelief: "The emergency department is your first internship department?"
"Yeah." Su Jie nodded.
"Then I shouldn't be the one to take care of you. No, no, I must have made a mistake somewhere!"
With that said, Jiang Wu ignored Su Jie's thoughts and went to argue with the previous doctor. After a while, he came back with a gloomy face: "Are you the intern who used cricothyroid membrane puncture to rescue the patient on the third floor yesterday?
Director Li personally asked you to come here?"
"Yeah, it's me." Su Jie pretended to be humble, but his eyes were quietly observing Jiang Wu's reaction, expecting that he would be impressed by him in the next second, and quickly let himself go to kill wild monsters, open a copy, and earn some money.
Go to skill point.
Unexpectedly, after Jiang Wu learned about Su Jie's experience, he looked at Su Jie with disgust as if he had met the god of plague: "Don't do anything else. Just follow me. You can go wherever I go. Don't leave."
My sight!"
"Ah?" Su Jie, who was about to swing his arms and fight in the emergency department, was stunned.
Opening method...is it a mistake?
Su Jie was puzzled. He obviously committed suicide yesterday and even Director Li looked at him with admiration. How could he be treated like this when he reported on his first day today?
Dr. Jiang Wu seems to have a lot of opinions about himself?
However, as the bottom of the clinical food chain, Su Jie felt that he had nothing to resist. Just like what he and Yang Yuchen said before, just enjoy it silently.
So throughout the morning, Su Jie followed Jiang Wu like a follower, living a life like Lin Daiyu where he couldn't hold it with his hands or carry it on his shoulders. As long as he seemed a little bit ready to make a move, Jiang Wu would kill everything with one look.
If it were any other veteran, it would definitely be so beautiful. Who wouldn’t like to win the game by lying down, playing like a cat and hanging on others, rolling Qwer in the face, and throwing the mouse in the trash can?
But Su Jie felt extremely tormented all morning!
This is his first day in the clinic, and he has nowhere to vent his passion. It is simply torture, not to mention that he has a system that can trigger missions and give rewards at any time!
This feeling is like being reborn and going back to the past. There are millions or tens of millions of opportunities in front of you, but you can only miss them... It is simply unbearable!
However, Su Jie has never been a person who likes to complain. After it was clear that Dr. Jiang Wu would not give him a chance to take action, Su Jie gave up on this idea and followed Dr. Jiang Wu honestly all morning, using [Eagle Eye]'s
Skills pondered his operations.
Don't do anything, just look at the head office.
There is no doubt that the emergency department is very busy. Even Dr. Jiang Wu, a veteran and regular attending physician, was extremely busy all morning. There were not enough trained doctors, so he had to go to the dressing room to help.
Su Jie was handing him something and learning his dressing-changing skills. It has to be said that there is a big gap between what is taught in clinical practice and what is taught in books. With [Eagle Eye]'s meticulous insight, Su Jie was able to
I gained a lot in the morning.
Su Jie found that although the junior [Eagle Eye] could not achieve the magical effect of naked eye CT, he could still clearly feel that his eyes were clearer, and he could detect more subtle problems when observing lesions.
Observe the subtle details and gain insight into the superficial... This should be the correct instructions for using the primary [Eagle Eye].
For example, for a patient who was having his dressing changed this morning, Su Jie carefully alerted Jiang Wu, allowing him to discover a hidden cavity in time.
"not bad."
Afterwards, Jiang Wu praised Su Jie, but Su Jie smiled broadly and didn't take it seriously.
During lunch break.
Su Jie took the lunch box provided by the department and went to the intern doctor's lounge to eat.
Another intern doctor also came over with a bitter smile soon. When he saw Su Jie in the same trench, he expressed his bitterness:
"It's simply too much. We are here for internships, not to work as coolies for these old gangsters. I was asked to go to the warehouse to move goods all morning, and I was not given any chance of clinical practice."
Su Jie started eating in a low voice and ignored him.
He muttered for a long time, and seemed to feel that no one was cheering him. So he turned to look at Su Jie: "Brother, why are you like a boring gourd? Tell me, I saw you this morning. You have been in the dressing room.
Handing something to Dr. Jiang, we obviously learned the dressing-changing technique in school, so why not give us a chance?"
Su Jie felt that he had gone too far, so he thought for a while and said, "Actually, this is also protecting us."
"Protect?"
The man raised his voice and said dissatisfiedly: "What's so difficult about the dressing technique? I always got perfect marks in the operation in school. Any talk of protecting us is just an excuse!"
Su Jie put down his chopsticks, wiped the grease from the corner of his mouth, and said: "The dressing change is not difficult, but the difficulty is that we have to do it on the patient. If we make a mistake in school, we will have to do it all over again. There is no chance of doing it over again in clinical practice.
If anything goes wrong with a patient, it will be a big deal."
The man didn't expect that Su Jie suddenly became serious, but he still said stubbornly: "What big trouble can happen if you change the dressing? The most serious thing is infection!"
Hearing this, Su Jie frowned and said solemnly: "There is no small matter in clinical practice. As a reserve doctor, we should always keep in mind the warning saying 'It's like walking on thin ice when you're facing an abyss'. This is what the principal said before leaving school.
I personally told you."
"For you, if the dressing change fails, the worst thing is just an infection. If you change the dressing again, the course of the disease may be extended for an extra week. Maybe these are not big things in your eyes, but why should a patient who is doing well have to suffer these things?
Just because you are an intern and a newcomer, should you be tolerated and understood?"
"There are no such things that should be taken for granted in this world. We hope that the clinical teachers will think highly of us and let us operate. This depends on our efforts and proves that we are capable, rather than just blaming others here."
At the end, Su Jie looked at his unruly companion and said lightly: "Brother, there is a big problem with your thinking."
After continuing to cook and finishing the last two bites, Su Jie was too lazy to be in the same room with such a negative energy man, so he cleaned up and walked out of the lounge.
As soon as Su Jie went out, he looked up and saw Dr. Jiang Wu.
"Have you finished eating?" Dr. Jiang Wu asked.
"Hmm..." Su Jie felt inexplicably nervous. He had not controlled the volume when he was chatting with Mr. Negative Energy. Could it be that the content of their chat was listened to by Dr. Jiang Wu at the door?
Talking about others behind their back is not what a gentleman would do.
"After eating, come to work and change dressings all morning. As long as you are not a fool, you should be able to do it. If there are easy patients in the afternoon, you can do it. It's time for me to rest." Dr. Jiang Wu said and rubbed it.
The stiff neck and the muscles on the face are slightly stretched, and he looks in a good mood.
Su Jie was overjoyed: "Okay, Teacher Jiang Wu, you can rest this afternoon, I'll just come."
"Call me Dr. Jiang Wu!"
"Oh oh oh, Sao Rui Sao Rui, Doctor Jiang Wu."
