Chapter 10 A dream?

Luo Lan smiled slightly, wiped his hands with a towel, and whispered:

"I am your princess in name now. Your life and death are related to me. How could I want to kill you? I wish you could live. If you live one more day, I can live a good life."

After saying this, she went to wash the towel again, then hung the towel to dry on the rack, returned to him, picked up his hand, put it on her leg, and gently massaged his arm.

The man pursed his lips and looked at her, with an inquiring look in his deep, dark eyes.

As a doctor, Luo Lan somewhat understands other people's psychology. She understands that if she wants him to get better, she must first let him have the desire to live, which will help the body's treatment.

Leng Yu's arms were sentient, so he could feel that her technique was very light, so light that he found it very comfortable.

She looked at his face, which was only half intact, and said softly:

"Do you have any enemies?"

This sentence stunned the man. Does he have an enemy? Of course he does, and there is more than one. If he didn't have an enemy, how could he be framed into what he is now?

But he didn't want to say more. He wasn't sure of this woman's purpose, so he couldn't tell her.

Seeing that he was silent, Luo Lan said again:

"You don't need to answer. I know that you must have enemies, and you have deep hatred. Do you want to take revenge?"

As soon as she said this, Leng Yu suddenly spit out a word from his mouth bitterly, "Think."

Luo Lan felt secretly happy in his heart, it would be easy to deal with his desire for revenge.

She asked again:

"Then do you want to be able to stand, walk, and run like before? Can you seek revenge on your enemies?"

Leng Yu looked at her in astonishment and suddenly sneered,

"Hmph! As I am now, I will die early and be released early."

Luo Lan's hand that was rubbing his arm paused for a moment, and then continued, chuckling softly in an extremely gentle voice,

"I'm not trying to make you happy. Do you believe in miracles? The less you believe in something, the more likely it is that you can do it. Why don't you and I make a bet?"

Leng Yu's eyes were full of curiosity, "What kind of bet?"

"I bet you can stand up intact. If I win, you have to promise me something."

"What if you lose?" His voice came softly, because he expected that she would definitely lose.

Luo Lan looked directly at him, blinked her big and bright eyes hard several times,

"If I lose, when you die, I will bury you with you and go to another world to accompany you. This bet is big enough."

After she finished speaking, Leng Yu suddenly looked at the cabinet not far away,

"There are some valuable items there. Take them and leave quickly. Don't come back again. I don't need you to bury them with me."

Hearing this, Luo Lan was a little surprised. She looked in the direction of his eyes, and sure enough she saw a small box at the bottom of the cabinet. When she opened the box, several jade pendants and luminous pearls appeared inside. Those things looked very valuable.

She took out a jade pendant, put the small box in, and then happily raised it to Leng Yu.

"Can you give me this?"

Leng Yu sighed silently, then nodded, "You can take them all, they are all waste to me."

A big smile appeared on Luo Lan's lips and teeth. She stuffed the jade pendant into her arms and continued to rub his arms.

For today's dinner, she ordered the kitchen to prepare porridge with rice grains for Leng Yu, and added some pickles for him. She fed him herself, but Leng Yu shook his head and refused to eat.

Luo Lan frowned and saw him,

"Eat, you'll be hungry if you don't eat, I tell you! There is no shop like this after passing this village."

Her words stunned him, and he felt his heart sink. Then he opened his mouth wide, and no matter what she fed him, he ate it all.

He suddenly felt that he would not be able to see this little girl tomorrow. She would definitely leave after taking the priceless jade pendant. Who would be willing to accompany a dying person like him?

But that's okay. He didn't want to harm such a gentle woman, nor did he want her to be buried with him.

After the meal, she changed him into a clean changing pad, covered him with a quilt, and then went to the side room next to him.

This is the room she specially ordered to clean up. It is close to Leng Yu's room and is convenient to take care of. Maybe she was too tired to take care of Leng Yu during the day, so she fell asleep directly after lying down!

The next morning, she came and fed Leng Yu porridge as usual, then cleaned up the dirt under his body, put on a clean mat, disinfected his ulcers, and changed the medicine.

After doing all this, she washed her hands and whispered to him:

"I'm going out for something, please just lie down!"

Her words made Leng Yu's heart sink to the bottom. He knew that she would not come back. She was destined to be a dream to him, and it was time to wake up.

He looked at the place where the valuables were stored again, "Take them all away, let these people know that you can't keep them."

"No, that piece of jade pendant seems to be of good quality. It can be sold for a lot of money, so it's enough."

After saying this, she tucked the quilt for him and smiled at him.

Leng Yu raised his eyes and took one more look at her. He knew he would never see her again. He wanted to remember this face, which at least gave him a day of sweet dreams.

She lifted her foot and left, and the sound of closing the door was heard. He shed tears in despair. She gave him hope yesterday, and now it was like giving him a blow in the head. Now he really wished that he could give himself a knife and end his life early. Why bother?

What about being tortured like this?

But he can't do it, he can't even die. In this case, just endure it.

Luo Lan left the house and Ruyi wanted to follow him, but she refused.

Ruyi stopped her at the door and said, "Princess, Concubine Chang said, let the slaves take good care of you."

Luo Lan sneered at the corner of his mouth and raised his eyebrows contemptuously at her, "You don't want to take care of me, you are afraid that I will run away."

Ruyi hurriedly lowered his head, "I don't dare."

"Okay, if you want to follow, then you can follow. I, Shui Luolan, am a person who always starts and ends when doing things."

She didn't say this to Ruyi, but to herself.

She quickly walked out of the palace gate and followed suit.

But she didn't intend to let her follow her, otherwise if she found out what she was going to do, she would definitely tell Concubine Chang, and then she would be unable to tell the truth.

When she came to the street, she saw a group of people gathered in front of her. Without any explanation, she ran over and squeezed into the crowd to watch the excitement.

The crowd was filled with people on three levels inside and three outside. Ruyi was so anxious outside that he couldn't squeeze in at all.

At this time, Luo Lan had already run away in another direction. She didn't stop all the way and went straight to the pawn shop.

The waiter at the pawn shop saw her coming in and asked lazily:

"Girl, do you want to pawn something or redeem something?"

Seeing his look of contempt, Luo Lan really wanted to go up and slap him, but she was here to ask for money, so she didn't want to conflict with others.

So she said to the waiter:
