Chapter 12 Tiger

I didn't tell anyone about the hunting, but others got the news and took the initiative to look for it.

Li Sanzhu felt comfortable and said with a smile: "If you try your luck, you will disturb so many people!"

After exchanging pleasantries, a group of seven people, plus those who looked down upon them, walked up the mountain along the path they usually trod.

From time to time, you can meet people who get up early to collect firewood in the mountains. Everyone knows each other from the same village, so they just say hello. There are also unfamiliar faces from neighboring villages.

Li Erzhu liked to go into the woods since he was a child. He learned how to make traps from the old hunters in the village, and dug a lot in inaccessible places. They stopped by to take a look, but unfortunately they only watched it yesterday, so there was nothing to gain today.

The group of people continued walking into the mountains, and gradually there were no trails visible to the naked eye, and not a single human figure was seen.

Pheasants and hares can be seen from time to time. They are so smart that they will flutter and run around at the slightest movement. They do not plan to spend the night in the mountains, chasing chickens and rabbits. It would take too much effort, and they will gain nothing after spending most of the day.

I picked up a few wild eggs. Li Changlei climbed up the tree and touched a lot of eggs.

Li Erzhu suddenly stopped and said, "Please be alert, there is excrement of large beasts here."

Everyone followed Li Erzhu's line of sight and looked over.

Li Sanzhu nodded: "I remember going over a hill and there is a small river to the east. This is the only way to pass. It is not uncommon to find large beast dung."

Wild animals need water to survive, and if you keep it there, you will surely gain something.

The village organized strong laborers to go hunting in the mountains with experienced hunters. Although there were casualties each time, the harvest was huge.

They followed me several times.

"Second brother, you can't go forward." Li Sanzhu stopped.

"Let's try our luck here. If we can't catch some pheasants and rabbits, it won't be in vain." There were many pheasants and rabbits around, and Li Sizhu agreed with his third brother.

Li Erzhu glanced at Li Qiu Sui in the basket and nodded.

Li Qiu Sui shrank her head. Her second uncle didn't look at him silently. He was really brave. He wanted to continue going in because he thought he was holding him back.

Over there, Li Changlei climbed the tree again.

Li Qiusui patted his father on the shoulder, "Dad, put me down."

Li Changshan came over and took the person out.

Li Qiusui stamped his sore and numb feet.

"I'm hungry, let's eat something first." Li Sanzhu handed over a packet of eggs.

He turned around and opened another bag of pancakes: "It's already past noon, let's take a bite."

I had something to eat in the morning and then went up the mountain. I was really hungry by now.

Li Qiusui distributed two more eggs to himself.

Li Changlei jumped down from the tree and found a few more bird eggs as expected. He came over and pulled Li Qiusui's little crotch and said, "Go home and my second brother will bake them for you."

Li Qiusui leaned back to avoid the pull, glared at her second brother, and said, "Then it must be settled."

Li Changlei smiled, "Second brother can still coax you!"

He leaned over to tease her again, "Otherwise, let's hook up."

Li Qiusui snorted and muttered "a child's trick."

"I don't know who was crying, howling, and rolling around early in the morning!" Li Changlei laughed.

The little man who spoke seriously yesterday made a scene this morning, which is very surprising.

Li Qiu Sui didn't want to mention the dark history, so he turned his back and ignored others.

The eldest brother, Li Changshan, handed over the peeled eggs, which just in time helped her out.

Li Qiusui smiled brightly and gave him the package in his hand, "Brother, you can eat it too."

Li Changshan took it with a smile.

After everyone had eaten and drank enough, they walked forward for a while.

Li Erzhu held a wooden stick in his hand and carefully pulled away the grass, muttering, "There should be a rabbit nest here?"

There are many trees and lush shrubs around. Li Qiu Sui's ears and eyesight are getting better and better. There are indeed hares here, and there are more than one nest.

She didn't plan to say it out loud. Her second uncle was an adventurer, and her second brother never stopped climbing up and down. She was really afraid that they would get a taste of the benefits and run into the mountains from time to time.

Along the way, she stayed quietly in her father's basket, getting used to everyone's looks at her.

Over there, Li Sanqian and Li Sanqian heard the words and went over to whisper a few words. They each took something like a net bag, rope, etc., and surrounded them with their waists, and quietly tied the net bag to the tree trunk.

When the two brothers Li Changshan saw this, they hurriedly ran over to help. They brought a lot of net bags.

Here, Li Erzhu and his three brothers saw that the other side was ready. They changed from their previous careful investigation and rushed in one direction with a long wooden stick in their hands, not forgetting to shout loudly.

Pushing all the way over, specifically hitting the thick bushes to make a lot of noise.

Li Qiusui sat on the branch of a tree and watched with great interest.

No one would make a fuss about a country child who could climb a tree. Li Changlei often led her to do mischief. When she was able to climb a tree and sit calmly, Li Sanzhu just glanced at her.

There was movement in the grass over there, and Li Qiusui stood up.

Brother Li Sanzhu was still shouting from behind, when something jumped out of the bushes in front and plunged into the net bag in a hurry.

The four people on Li Sanqian's side were well prepared. They knocked down one of them with a single swing of their wooden stick and hoe, with quick and accurate force.

Several people cooperated tacitly and harvested more than a dozen hares. Although the pheasants could fly, they failed to catch a few.

Just like that, the group of people were all smiles. There were so many wild animals coming and going all day long at the foot of the mountain.

Everyone did the same thing a few more times, and the baskets on their backs were all full. There were also other things on the side, and they only got a few foxes. They were not big in size and their fur was not very good.

Li Changlei greeted Li Qiu Sui and came down from the tree.

Li Qiusui said "Hey" and was about to slide down, when he suddenly stiffened.

"Sui Sui is gone." Uncle Li was the closest to her and shouted when she didn't move.

The dragon moves through the clouds and the tiger moves through the wind.

I don’t remember where I heard this, but Li Qiusui shouted to the tree with a white face: “There is a tiger, everyone should climb up the tree.”

Li Sanqian and others were still packing their net bags, and when they heard this, they all looked up at her.

Li Qiu Sui was anxious and stamped his feet: "Everyone climb up the tree first!"

Her eyesight was very good, and she could see far away from a tree branch. She could see movement in the distance with just a few words.

Li Sanzhu was the first to take action, "Everyone climb up the tree first!"

There was quite a lot of movement among the people just now. Although the stick used did not cause too much blood to flow out from the wild man, it was inevitable that he would bleed from a heavy hand.

Seeing how anxious his daughter is, it is obvious that something is wrong!

After putting away their things in a haphazard manner, everyone found a thick tree trunk and climbed up.

After delaying for a while, everyone grabbed the tree trunk and looked at Li Qiu Sui's line of sight, and their expressions changed.

The big guy, which was more than ten feet long and covered in brown stripes, was galloping toward them.

As long as everyone can detect the movement and see the big guy clearly, it only takes the blink of an eye.

Without giving everyone too much time to react, the colorful tiger quietly rushed to the foot of the tree. Its hill-like body only paused for a moment, leaned down and roared before climbing up the tree crown where Li Chunxi was.

After three or two attacks, Li Chunxi fell straight from the tree with a pale face.

Li Qiusui slapped her forehead hard. Tigers can climb trees! How could she think that the tree was safe?
