Chapter 23(1/2)

At night, the wind and rain stopped, and the autumn cold dew was heavy. Bai Jun twisted his body. As strong as he was, he didn't care about the slight cold.

The bleeding from the wound had stopped, and it was time for him to leave. Bai Jun looked at the raincoat covering him and couldn't help but smile. He picked up the small clay pot with his mouth and hid it in his jaw, and then left quietly.

However, Bai Jun still remembered the child named Baosheng. When he left, he traced the dirt with his tail in front of the raincoat and left a smiling face.

The next day, Baosheng, who had sneaked out, came to the ditch with excitement on his face, but could not see the big snake.

He shouted anxiously: "Snake Immortal! Snake Immortal! Are you leaving?"

His childish voice echoed in the vast mountain forest, which also proved that the Great Snake Immortal had already left.

Baosheng came to the coir raincoat in disappointment, and accidentally saw a smiling little human face painted on the ground. He laughed in surprise: "The Great Snake God still remembers me."

Bai Jun dragged his half-disabled body back to Wanshe Mountain, and felt at ease only after entering his own territory.

Swimming through dense water plants, snakes in the swamp retreated with fear.

The bodies of those mortals who died in the swamp have now disappeared. After all, in the Wanshe Mountain territory, only his kindred do things.

After all, there is always a gap between Bai Jun and a real snake in his heart.

Swimming through the Yixiantian Canyon, all traces of human beings have been swept away by yesterday's autumn rain.

Bai Jin passed by the boulder, stopped, bowed his head to express his gratitude to his neighbors, and vomited the snake letter in his mouth.

Just when he thought there would be no response, a low-frequency sound came from the depths of the lair, infrasound waves so low that humans could not respond at all.

The meaning is very vague, it probably means helping each other out of politeness.

Bai Jun fell in love with these neighbors more and more. Apparently there were kings and other creatures among the ants who had developed intelligence like him.

Climbing under the willow tree, he spit out the clay pot hidden in his lower jaw, then rolled it up deftly with his tail, and poured out the remaining medicinal powder on the wound.

The bleeding has stopped, and the next step is to rest.

He also placed the empty clay pots in his hibernation cave for storage.

Bai Jin then had a hearty meal in the valley and swallowed ten hares. The rabbits in the autumn were all so fat and strong that even he felt that he had been able to survive after eating so much in one go.

After eating, he climbed up the willow tree again and circled the branches, curled up in the leaves and basked in the autumn sun, and fell asleep.

The familiar and peaceful environment allowed him to sleep until late at night, when he was woken up by a gust of autumn wind at night.

Bai Jun looked around confusedly, and he didn't know when a vast white mist had risen, and a chill went straight into his heart.

In the mist, two figures seemed to be approaching, and there was a faint sound of chains.

Bai Jin's snake guts suddenly froze. His heat and vibration organs and even his olfactory organs did not capture the two figures. He could only see through the snake's eyes, one black and one white, a thin and tall figure chained in the mist of the valley.

A vague figure was taken away.

The white figure suddenly turned back and looked at Bai Jun.

But it was a frighteningly pale white face, and there was even a long blood-red tongue that was three feet long hanging from the mouth, and there seemed to be writing on it that was hard to read.

"What's wrong?" The black figure made a rough and strange voice.

"That big snake saw us." The white figure's voice was low and dark.

"So what's the matter? Are ordinary beasts that can kill so many people?" Hei Wuchang laughed strangely, turned around and said to Bai Jun: "Big Snake, you are lucky, you met my black and white couple.

Brother, according to the inheritance passed down by our ancestors, hurting someone with a snake is not considered a crime. Even if the city god judges you, Impermanence will not accept you.

But you have to take care of yourself in the future and devote yourself to cultivating yourself to become a monster as soon as possible! Otherwise, the next time you encounter a bull-headed and horse-faced man who comes to collect your soul, he might take your soul back too."

Bai Jun felt chilled after hearing this, and hurriedly bowed his head towards the two ghost messengers to express his thanks.

The two men, Black and White, laughed loudly, and their figures suddenly walked a hundred steps at a time. They disappeared in a few blinks of an eye, and the white mist in the valley also dispersed.

The moon covered by dark clouds appeared again in the sky, and the silver-white moonlight shone on the mountains, illuminating the canyon like a lamp, as if it was all a dream.

In his heart, Bai Yan preferred to see what he saw in a dream, but he was sure that what he just saw was definitely not just a dream.

If a snake hurts someone, it is not considered a sin. The city god will judge you, but he will not accept you because of impermanence?

Through these words, Bai Jun learned some things about the gods and ghosts in this world.

In the autumn of this year, Bai Jun also entered hibernation very late.

The group of humans who broke into the valley killed at least nearly a thousand snakes, and they were all the main force in reproduction. The number of snakes will not increase much in the coming year.

Bai Jun's injury was finally healed before the beginning of winter, and all the snakes in the valley had hibernated. Only his snake was still outside.

The faint sunshine exudes weak heat, and the cold air is filled with the breath of winter.

There are still many dead leaves that have not yet fallen on the willow branches, and they are gray and yellow, which is really beautiful.

Bai Jun is coiled on the tree, thinking about hibernating tomorrow.

But in the afternoon, the sound of human footsteps came.

Bai Jun shook his head, a little confused. How dare any hunter enter the mountain at this time?

He looked intently and saw a kind-hearted old monk walking out of the mouth of the Xianxian Canyon. He was wearing a dark yellow monk's robe, without a Zen staff or cassock, and he only held a string of Buddhist beads in his hand.

The old monk had no aura and walked towards the pool with ordinary steps, stirring up dust. Every step he took made a layer of ripples on the calm surface of the pool. He walked step by step on the small pool with ripples without sinking.

Bai Jun was stunned. He was definitely an expert, but it was hard to say whether he was a Buddhist monk like the old monk Yuanxi.

He coiled up his body, tilted the snake's head out of the willow tree crown, and spat out a snake message to warn it.

But the old monk remained unmoved. He walked straight to the ancient willow tree, raised his head and looked at a dead branch of the tree, and said with a smile: "How wonderful! In the spring and autumn, buds grow and leaves fall. Each year is a thousand years old."

When I was young, I met you as a poor monk. Now you have achieved Nirvana and will ascend to the upper realm soon. You are still the same as before and have not changed your mind."

Bai Jun quickly fell down when the old monk stood under the tree. The snake's body surrounded the old monk layer by layer, and he was about to stick out his tongue to bite.

But when he heard the old monk talking about ascending to the upper realm, he froze instantly. Upper realm? Ascension? How much cultivation does that require?

Bai Jun was confused. A great Buddhist man was being pestered by him?

The snake's body paralyzed, and Bai Jun swam away anxiously. He raised his head and looked at the old monk talking to the willow tree, quietly and obediently staying aside as a listener.

Did he plant this willow tree? Now that he is about to ascend, come and remember him?

Bai Jun knew in his heart that the person in front of him must be a thousand times more powerful than Yuan Xi. He only hoped that this Buddhist master would show mercy. Escape would most likely be useless.

After the old monk finished speaking a series of words, he stopped, without squeezing him to death with one hand, and Bai Jun's figure was reflected in his eyes.

"A very spiritual snake." He praised, "But he has a lot of karma."

Bai Jun's heart trembled, and he quickly bent his head to beg for mercy.

"Haha, if it had been a thousand years earlier, I might have taken you back to the mountain to teach you. Now that the poor monk has left this world, I will pass on you a meditation mantra to get rid of the demonic nature and maintain your original intention. I hope you can

Achieve true cultivation as soon as possible!"

After saying that, he stretched out his hand and the big snake suddenly fell down.

The old monk smiled faintly, made ten with one hand, and held a Buddhist bead with the other. He raised his head and looked at the willow tree and said: "I will recite this Mahaparinirvana Sutra for you again, poor monk."

"The Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses the ten dharma, which does not contradict the world and is not stained by the world's laws. What are the ten? The first is faith; the second is discipline; the third is closeness to good friends; the fourth is inner good thoughts; the fifth is

The sixth one is full of mindfulness; the seventh one is full of wisdom; the eighth one is full of right speech; the ninth one is happy with the Dharma; the tenth one is compassionate towards all living beings. Good man, the Bodhisattva has these ten dharma, does not quarrel with the world, and does not fall under the laws of the world.

Defiled, like Upala flowers..."

The gentle sound of Buddhist sutras recited resounded throughout the valley, autumn birds chirped lowly, and under the willow trees full of yellow leaves, monks held beads and chanted sutras, with a sleeping big white snake beside them.

The autumn wind blows, and the willow leaves fall, falling on the autumn pool, on the shoulders of the monks, and on the sleeping white snake. The Zen state of the valley is empty and peaceful, and the autumn sunshine slants down a beam to cover the old man.

Monks, even though old monks are old, they can shine in the sun and recite Sanskrit sounds, and the Buddha's Dharma is boundless.

When Bai Jun woke up relaxed, he found that the old monk had disappeared. His body felt as if he had taken a comfortable bath, feeling fresh from the inside out.

From the beginning to the end, the monk did not use any magical means, but everything he did was Zen.

There is a sutra and mantra in Bai Yan's head. Although he does not know the words, the Sanskrit sounds spontaneously sound in his mind. This sutra is called: "The Mahaparinirvana Sutra".

Shaking his head, he looked at the willow tree. Although it looked unattractive, he didn't expect that it had such an important background and was actually a tree planted by a Buddhist monk.

Is that monk going to become an immortal? No, the monk should have entered the Western Bliss of Buddhism.

Bai Jun thought that he should take good care of this willow tree in the future, maybe it might be of some use.

With his mind full of thoughts, he walked into the cave and began his eighth hibernation in his snake life.

This year's winter is much warmer than in previous years.

When winter snow comes to the world, every household feels that it is not very cold.

All the beasts in the mountains have also endured this winter.

People are talking a lot about why it snowed heavily in winter this year and it was still warm? Such a snow year is a real year of abundant snow.

Mortals live in the world of mortals, while immortals cultivate on high mountains.

On the New Year's Eve in the world, a boundless Buddha's light shines in the west, illuminating the nineteen continents of Tianyuan Realm, illuminating the demons, humans, immortals, Buddhas, demons, witches, and ghosts in this world. A heavenly gate opens wide, and an old monk
