Chapter 5 His Appearance(1/2)

(Part 2)

The boy suddenly jumped up from his position and said as he walked: "Yes, yes, yes, I forgot about it, I haven't done it yet."

After the boy finished speaking, he ran out of the classroom. Yan Manjia quickly grabbed his sleeve and breathed a sigh of relief and said, "The office is locked."

The boy scratched his head and returned to his position in frustration.

Lunch break time came, and the students who were still noisy saw Gu Zhi passing through the corridor outside the window. The students sitting next to him quickly reminded the students who were talking to lie on the table and pretend to sleep. After a few seconds, they quietly opened their eyes and looked at Gu Zhi.

After walking through the classroom, they relaxed and then started to make a fuss again.

The boy in blue clothes walked hesitantly to the door of the classroom. He was nervous and afraid to teach him a lesson, but he also knew that it would be worse if he didn't go. He took a deep breath outside the classroom and walked into the office.

This ordinary girl has a scarred soul sleeping in her heart. When she is exhausted, she will choose to sleep in her own consciousness space. Now that she is awake, the sleeping soul is Yan Manjia herself.

The lunch break is over and the bell rings.

When Yan Manjia woke up, the first thing she did was open the notebook on her desk. On it was another person who had written in pencil what happened to her at school after she fell asleep.

One body with two souls is Yan Manjia.

Lively, cheerful, and self-absorbed is the disguised character of a soul that protects Yan Manjia. It is another self in her heart. She has no name.

She was the one who was depressed and taciturn. When she was on the verge of despair, her other self showed up to care for her, so she didn't disappear into this cold world.

The only person who cares about her is her other self, no one else including her relatives.

After class, she did not leave the classroom. She sat quietly looking at the scenery outside the window. She was not interested in playing and playing outside the classroom. She did not want to face the world, but she chose to live in this world for the sake of her other self.

A world in which she was utterly disappointed.

After school in the afternoon, Yan Manjia hurriedly squeezed out of the school gate and ran home. Panting, she climbed up the stairs and opened the door to see her father sitting on the sofa watching TV leisurely. She quickly changed her shoes and walked into the kitchen. There was something in the bowl.

Unwashed dishes and chopsticks after eating.

She looked at the clock on the wall and it was still half an hour away. She took the time to prepare the dishes and then hurriedly stir-fried them. In other homes, parents would prepare meals for their children to come home to eat, but she got up in the morning to cook noodles and serve them.

You can't wake him up in front of his bed.

When she came back from school to make dinner in the evening, she would be asked to make it again if she didn't do it well. Yan Manjia brought the dishes and rice to the table in the living room. She stood aside, clasping her hands nervously. Her father glanced at her and took the

He took a bite of the food with his chopsticks, chewed a few mouthfuls and spit it out on the table. He was so angry that he slammed his chopsticks on the table and asked Yan Manjia to make it again.

Yan Manjia quickly picked up the chopsticks, prepared the ingredients again in the kitchen and started cooking. She looked at the clock on the wall and saw that class was less than two minutes away.

In the classroom, the Chinese teacher who was lecturing looked at the only vacant seat in the classroom and sighed, then continued teaching the text.

Gu Zhi happened to pass by the classroom, looked at the absent position in the window, raised his hand to look at his watch, and left the teaching building.

Wave after wave of evening breeze blew the hair of the girl running on the street, and the dusk at night reflected on the girl through the gaps in the houses.

Strangers walking with their children glanced at her casually.

Soon the girl ran to the school gate. She didn't notice the pebbles on the ground. She fell to the ground all of a sudden. Gu Zhi, who was walking to the school gate, saw it and he quickly walked to Yan Manjia.

I want to reach out and help her up.

Yan Manjia got up on her own. She did not raise her head to look at Gu Zhi, but shook her head with a smile. Gu Zhi frowned slightly as he looked at Yan Manjia's back and the inconspicuous blood stains on the ground.

Yan Manjia didn't even look at the abrasions on her hands. She patted the dust off her pants and then gently patted the dust off her hands. As she walked along the silent campus corridor, she became less hurried and seemed to be in a hurry.

Enjoying the quiet moment, she thought of the hand just now and recalled the past.

During the school cleaning, Yan Manjia went to the toilet after cleaning the classroom. When she walked up the toilet stairs, a bucket of water was poured from above and poured down the stairs. Fortunately, Yan Manjia only walked a few steps.

The water only wetted her shoes and trousers, and the girl who splashed the water quickly apologized.

"fine."

Yan Manjia said generously with a sweet and melodious voice, smiling.

When the girl who splashed water saw Yan Manjia walking past her, she flicked the water in her hand onto Yan Manjia's back and blue clothes. The girl envied Yan Manjia's face, hated her generosity, and was jealous of her soft voice.

The sanitation in the toilet has not been completed yet. Several girls are still cleaning. Yan Manjia carefully walked to the end of the innermost toilet. The girls cleaning were very slow. There were all the trash cans next to the row of toilets inside.

It was piled up into a mountain and had not been cleaned. There was still freshly poured water on the ground, but it was contaminated by the dirty footprints of people coming and going and became very dirty. After Yan Manjia used the toilet, two girls came in and took it with one hand.

Mop the floor, very reluctantly.

When Yan Manjia passed by, one of the girls swung the mop at her back foot. She tripped over the mop and fell to the ground. Yan Manjia collapsed on the ground full of water. The girl looked at Yan Manjia in a miserable state.

He looked like he was laughing.

Another girl with a high ponytail quickly stepped forward and stretched out her hand to help Yan Manjia up. Yan Manjia looked up at the hand illuminated by the light and clenched it without hesitation.

"Thanks·····."

Yan Manjia smiled happily, her cute dimples faintly visible, but before she could finish saying the words "thank you", the girl not only let go of her hand, but also kicked Yan Manjia hard with her foot.

Yan Manjia was surprised and fell heavily to the cold ground.

The few girls who were cleaning the toilet finished cleaning the toilet perfunctorily and then left. No one glanced at Yan Manjia. Although one girl wanted to help Yan Manjia, she didn't have the courage. She was afraid of being isolated by them.

"let's go."

These cold words suddenly penetrated Yan Manjia's heart.

Yan Manjia raised the corners of her mouth and looked desperately at the small sunlight coming in from the small window on the wall. She slowly raised her hands to cover the sunlight. She laughed out loud and tears rolled in her eyes. She did not get up and closed her eyes with tears.

Drops fell from the corner of her eyes into the turbid water. She was not crying because of this pain, but because the world was unwilling to give even a little kindness to her, not even a little bit of care.

"Tell me how late you have been. This time it's even more extreme. It's longer than usual."

In the office, the head teacher was scolding Yan Manjia. Yan Manjia lowered her head and looked at the floor, pursed her lips slightly. The head teacher asked Yan Manjia to stand outside the classroom for a period of time. This class was chemistry. Gu Zhi took it.

He walked up to Yan Manjia with the textbook and asked her to return to her seat for class.

"The head teacher asked me to stand here as punishment."

Yan Manjia raised her head and looked into Gu Zhi's eyes and said.

"This class is mine, I have the final say, go back."

There was a hint of seriousness in Gu Zhi's tone, but it seemed to be a little gentler.

He stood at the door of the classroom, waiting for Yan Manjia to enter the classroom on his own initiative before he would start teaching.

Yan Manjia saw Gu Zhi standing motionless, so she had no choice but to walk into the classroom and sit down to listen to the class.

Yan Manjia pretended to listen to the class very seriously and take notes.

Just like that, the evening class ended. Yan Manjia was walking in a remote alley. She didn't want to walk on the streets where people were talking and laughing. She liked quiet alleys without any sound. But as she walked, she heard

There was a sound of footsteps coming from behind.

She stopped and listened carefully to the sound of footsteps getting closer and closer. She hugged her schoolbag tightly with both hands, held her breath, and did not dare to move. She only heard her heart beating violently, deeply.

Take a breath.

Looking at the flickering street lights in front of her, she was about to run when a hand suddenly grabbed her, held her mouth, and dragged her deep into the alley. Yan Manjia opened her mouth and bit his hand.

"Who are you?"

Yan Manjia did not run away or call for help, but asked who the boy wearing the black duckbill hat was.

Xiong Renfeng was very angry. He never expected that she would pretend not to know him, which made his original angry mood worse and turned into embarrassment and anger.

He blocked Yan Manjia in the corner of the alley and smoked a cigarette. The thick smoke made Yan Manjia very uncomfortable. She hugged her schoolbag tightly in her arms. She quickly stood up and wanted to leave, but was stopped by Xiong Renfeng.

Pushed against the lime wall, Yan Manjia fell heavily onto the wall.

Xiong Renfeng realized that he had exerted a little too much force. He saw Yan Manjia's uncomfortable look, which seemed to be a little shaken. Under the flickering small lamp in the alley, his eyes were attracted by the girl's fair and small face.

Seeing her eyes that seemed to be pretending to be innocent and pitiful, he recalled that he was furious at school because he had lost face in front of his brothers by seeing this girl in front of him.

He flicked the ash on Yan Manjia's face, threw the cigarette on the ground, stepped on the sparks on the cigarette butt with his toes, put his face in front of Yan Manjia, grabbed the dirt on the ground and wiped it on Yan Manjia

Jia's face was like a mud mask, leaving only his eyes and nose to breathe.

"I just want to rub your fair face with mud and let you taste what I felt like at that time."

Xiong Renfeng said through gritted teeth.

"What are you doing."

Xiong Renfeng stood up immediately, looked around in a panic, swallowed nervously, and saw a tall, powerful man standing under the flickering lights.

"Do you want to be punished?"

Gu Zhi said coldly and in an ice-like tone. Under the light, you could clearly see through his glasses that his expression was very serious.

Xiong Renfeng glanced at Gu Zhi and quickly put down his hat, covering his face tightly, and ran away in despair.

Yan Manjia glanced at Gu Zhi, then stood up slowly while holding on to the wall and left the alley. She didn't want Gu Zhi to know that it was her.

"Yan..."

Gu Zhi wanted to stop Yan Manjia, but he also guessed that Yan Manjia didn't want him to know it was her, so he looked at Yan Manjia's back walking upstairs.

Yan Manjia returned home and saw her dirty face through the mirror in the bathroom. She thought that Teacher Gu would not recognize her, so she washed her face clean and looked up at herself in the mirror.

After a while, she quietly opened the door and walked out of the bathroom, went to the kitchen, and turned on the light. There were still uneaten vegetables in the pot, the rice cooker had not been washed, and the dishes and chopsticks were still lying peacefully in the sink.

She rolled up her sleeves and worked harder.
