Chapter 25 Notebook(1/2)

The picture on Jiang Chenyu's side shook a few times, and an afterimage appeared. There was a muffled "bang" sound, and the picture on the phone turned into a black screen.

Visible panic.

Zhan Jin: "Jiang Chen met?"

On the sofa in the shabby living room, Jiang Chenyu stared blankly at the phone on the table, his cheeks turning red rapidly.

——The phone did not turn the camera, the camera was facing his face.

It was quiet over there, Zhan Jin called him again, and when he heard the curse word, the next moment, the screen shook a few times, facing a TV.

"I didn't hold it firmly and my phone fell on the table," he said.

Zhan Jin: "Did you listen carefully to what I read just now?"

"Listen."

"Where did I read?"

"..."

"Liar."

"I...I'm a little sleepy - just wait a moment."

Zhan Jin heard a "click" sound, "What are you doing?"

"Have a cigarette." Jiang Chen said in a rough voice when his breathing was heavy, "Wake up and continue."

After a moment of silence, Zhan Jin sighed softly, "If you're sleepy, let's rest first. That's it for today."

I can't see anyone, and I don't know what Jiang Chenyu is doing specifically. It's hard to tell whether he is studying or not. The learning efficiency is not high, and Jiang Chenyu doesn't seem to be interested in studying tonight.

You have to take your time, don't rush.

"Tsk, I didn't say I won't learn." Jiang Chenyu thought he was angry, so he put out his cigarette and said, "You can continue reading."

"Turn the camera over." Zhan Jin turned his pen, "Let me look at your face."

Only in this way can you determine whether he is listening based on his expression.

There was silence for a while, and Zhan Jin waited patiently. After waiting for a moment, the camera turned, and he saw a face whose scarlet color had not faded, with his eyes avoiding the camera.

Zhan Jin paused and suddenly smiled silently.

What did you see that made you so excited?

After the video call ended, Zhan Jin sorted it out. Lao Wu said that Jiang Chenyu's grades in junior high school were good, but he slowly declined after he was admitted to high school.

Grades represent the results of learning at each stage. Some people have good grades in elementary school, but their grades decline in junior high school. Some people have poor grades in junior high school, but after entering high school, they will overtake their classmates in the front row. It can be called a counterattack.

If you want to counterattack, relying on luck alone is not enough.

Zhan Jin took the test tonight and found out that Jiang Chenyu has some basic skills. He also has some habitual memory points and sense of language for things like phonetic symbols, so he hasn't forgotten them all.

In the early morning, at a breakfast stall on the street outside the school, Qin Rui took a bag of xiaolongbao and asked Zhan Jin if he wanted to eat. Zhanjin looked confused and took a xiaolongbao, "Thanks."

Qin Rui: "You didn't have breakfast?"

Zhan Jin: “No appetite.”

Qin Rui chuckled, "I understand, you'll have an appetite after seeing me."

Zhan Jin turned around and looked around.

Qin Rui: "What are you looking for?"

"Let's see where they sell water." Zhan Jin said in a casual tone, "I feel like vomiting."

Qin Rui smiled and cursed: "Damn, your uncle."

Zhan Jin casually glanced around, his eyes stagnated, and he met a face looking this way in the crowd.

Jiang Chenyu stood under the tree pushing his bicycle.

The crowd surged between the two of them, and the next second their eyes met, Jiang Chen Yu turned his head away and dodged, as if he was a thief with a guilty conscience.

Zhan Jin narrowed his eyes and said, "Qin Rui."

Qin Rui: "Your orders."

"Are you watching Brother Jiang?" Zhan Jin said, "Call someone over for breakfast."

Qin Rui: "Don't you want to vomit?"

Zhan Jin turned his head and looked at the breakfast shop next to him, "I'm a little hungry."

When he was about to pass, Jiang Chen Yuneng got on his bicycle and flew away.

After the two confirmed their relationship, they became close in private. On the surface, Jiang Chenyu was more careful to keep a distance from him than before, for fear that others would notice something, and he was very deliberate.

After a while, the three of them bought breakfast together in front of the breakfast shop and walked side by side to the school, chatting from left to right. Qin Rui stood between the two of them, feeling the sights from all directions and enjoying it very much.

But after a while, I felt uncomfortable being flanked by monsters. There was a strange feeling of being unable to integrate between them. The pressure was very great, so I simply went around to the other side and bumped into Zhan Jin. Zhan Jin went to Jiang Chen to meet him.

There was another bump there.

Jiang Chenyu raised his hand to support his shoulder.

Zhan Jin glanced at him sideways, and he quickly took his hand back without looking sideways.

Entering the classroom, there were scattered people sitting in the classroom.

Zhan Jin sat down, unzipped his schoolbag, took out a notebook and handed it to Jiang Chenyu.

Jiang Chenyu: "What is this?"

Zhan Jin: "Love Letter."

Jiang Chenyu: "..."

He opened the notebook. The notebook was very new. The handwriting inside was neat. The knowledge points were divided in detail and clearly, and different colors were used to distinguish the key points.

Jiang Chenyu turned over two pages and turned to look at Zhan Jin. Zhan Jin's eyes were half-closed, and he was vaguely tired. When he raised his eyes, the fatigue turned into laziness, "If you don't understand, just ask me."

Jiang Chen felt his throat was dry and cleared his throat, "Thank you."

Zhan Jin tilted his head and chuckled: "You're welcome, prepare a thank you gift."

Jiang Chen's face turned red, and he held his notebook and his eyes wandered.

Zhan Jin leaned towards his ear, his low voice blowing like a spring breeze, "Just use your report card at the end of next month to repay me, classmate Jiang."

Jiang Chenyu: "...Oh."

He put the notebook on the table with an expressionless expression.

"Of course, you want to give me something else." Zhan Jin put his hand on the corner of Jiang Chenyu's stool and said, "I will also be very surprised."

Jiang Chenyu lowered his head and straightened his back.

"What other surprises?" Qin Rui, the campus telegrapher in the front row, turned his head with keen ears and saw Zhan Jin's notebook on the table.

Jiang Chenyu stared at him: "Nothing."

The notebook Zhan Jin took notes for Jiang Chenyu was the same as his own. Qin Rui thought it was Zhan Jin's notebook and said, "You might as well borrow mine if you borrow his notes. His notes are all understandable."

It’s not like an ordinary person, it’s like a book from heaven.”

In the past, people often borrowed notebooks from Zhan Jin, but usually they would not borrow them a second time after borrowing them once.

The notes Zhan Jin took in class were concise to the point of being rudimentary, and there were some omitted things that others could not understand. Only he knew what he had written.

Zhan Jin raised his eyebrows: "Is it okay if I can understand my notes?"

He usually takes notes once, reads them again, and can almost remember and comprehend them once he goes through them in his mind. He rarely needs to study a certain knowledge point over and over again.

"Qin Rui, please come on." Qin Rui's deskmate complained, "Your handwriting is no different from that of the Heavenly Book. The notebook of Jin Zhan is at least pleasing to the eye and makes you feel good. Your handwriting is the same as that of a dog."

Qin Rui: "Is there anyone who likes you so much?"

Zhan Jin caught a glimpse of his deskmate stuffing the notebook into the drawer quietly, and then secretly took it out to take a look at it. He gave it a slight smack.

Jiang Chenyu heard the sound, stuffed the notebook into the drawer, pressed the corner of his mouth, took the pen on the table, and pulled the pen cap back and forth.

Qin Rui didn't know that Zhan Jin was secretly keeping Jiang Chen Yu in check, not only taking notes for him, but also having a video connection for an hour or two every night.

The video call lasted for a week. Just after school that day, Zhan Jin received a call from the address book on his mobile phone that Jiang Chen had met his sister.

The little girl called him with her phone and watch and asked him if he wanted to go to Jiang Chenyu's house for dinner tonight, "I'll go too tonight!"

Zhan Jin asked her: "Where is your brother?"

The little girl hesitated and couldn't speak.

There were clear lights and shadows in the alley, and the joints on the back of Zhan Jin's hand as he answered the phone were covered with dark red abrasions. He leaned against the wall and looked down at the young man kneeling on the ground, clutching his stomach. There was coldness in his lowered eyes.

There was a gentle smile on his lips, and a contrasting expression appeared on his face. His expression was frightening, and his gentle face was like a murderer in a TV series.

"Lying is not a good thing for a child."

The child didn't hold on for a few seconds and apologized softly. Her brother wouldn't let her go, but she missed her brother and didn't dare to go alone. She broke something in her brother's room last time. The kid was so clever.

Find someone to support you.
