Chapter 439

The next day, the sunlight outside the window fell into the room and shone on Jiang Lan's pale face.

Her eyelashes trembled, and she slowly opened her eyes. The cold sunlight dazzled her, and she raised her hand to block the light in front of her eyes.

After a moment of relief, Jiang Lan sat up from the bed.

Turning her head, she saw the note on the bedside. She picked up the note and looked at it. After a long silence, she put the note back.

A puppy barked outside the house. She didn't know what she thought of, so she quickly got out of bed and ran out of the bedroom.

After coming out, she was stunned.

Lu Jingchi was squatting on the ground with his back to her, feeding two puppies.

She wasn't sure if it was Lu Jingchi, there was only a back view.

Jiang Lan stood there for a moment, raised his feet and slowly approached the man, came to his side, tilted his head and looked around, and saw a familiar profile.

Lu Jingchi seemed to be aware of it, and he also raised his head and glanced at Jiang Lan.

Jiang Lan blinked, then turned his head, looked around, looked at all the unfamiliar surroundings in front of him, and then cast his questioning gaze on Lu Jingchi's face.

Lu Jingchi stood up, tilted his head, and stared at her, as if waiting for something.

After a while, Jiang Lan raised his hand and gestured: Why are we here?

Lu Jingchi looked at her dancing fingers and felt dazed for a moment.

Seeing that he was distracted, Jiang Lan reached out and pulled his sleeve. Lu Jingchi came back to his senses and said in a deep voice: "Come and take a look at these two dogs."

She looked at the dog on the ground again.

It seems that his words are not convincing.

Lu Jingchi put his finger on her face and asked, "Did you remember anything?"

Jiang Lan shook his head. Apart from knowing that he was sick, he couldn't remember anything. To be precise, he couldn't remember why he was here.

Lu Jingchi raised his eyebrows without leaving any trace. He bent down again, picked up the two puppies that were still eating on the ground, and stuffed them into the cage.

Then he took Jiang Lan's hand and said, "Now that you're awake, let's go."

Jiang Lan was confused now. She didn't know what to do except follow Lu Jingchi.

Lu Jingchi put the cage on the car, raised his chin, and motioned for her to get in the car.

Jiang Lan got into the car, put on his seat belt in a dazed state, and followed him back to Yujiangting in confusion.

Lu Jingchi let the dogs out, took out a bag of dog food from the utility room, and refilled the two dogs with dog food.

Then he handed Jiang Lan two notebooks.

Jiang Lan turned it over to herself. It recorded what happened during this period and her work at Lu's.

But this notebook has been torn off, and quite a few.

She flipped through it in two or three times, but didn't get any useful information.

Jiang Lan put down his notebook and gestured to him: Why is this one torn?

Lu Jingchi said seriously: "You tore it yourself, how do I know?"

Jiang Lan frowned even more. Why did she tear these off?

Doctor Hu came just at this time. He bought a bunch of ingredients and the first thing he did when he saw Jiang Lan was to say hello.

He also habitually asked her: "Ms. Jiang, do you still remember me today?"

Jiang Lan nodded, remembering him.

Strangely enough, she did remember him, but she only remembered him and knew his name and what he did.

Don't know anything else.
