Chapter 251

On the stone steps of the path, a man and a woman were sitting and talking quietly. Under the dim street lights, the two figures were elongated.

"What did you use to hit them just now?" Zhao Yazhi rested her head on his shoulder.

"Hey, it's not a unique hidden weapon." Lu Dongjie smiled and opened his palm to reveal a few coins.

Zhao Yazhi looked at him with a half-smile but not a smile, "If you are not afraid that they will report the crime, they might find the murder weapon and follow the clues to catch you."

Lu Dongjie held the credit card in his hand and replied with a smile: "I'm pretending to be half a rich man. Why do I carry coins with me? Credit cards are a status symbol."

Zhao Ya was startled. Seeing what he said was so witty, she laughed out loud.

"My family won't blame you for your situation, right?" Lu Dongjie put his arm around her shoulders.

"I'm just worried about affecting them, so I rarely go back, so as not to cause gossip in the neighborhood." Zhao Yazhi shook her head.

"It seems that I, the culprit, must have been on my aunt's blacklist." Lu Dongjie sighed helplessly.

"People say beauty brings disaster, but you didn't blame me for putting the blame on you." Zhao Yazhi smiled secretly.

"Then I will sentence you to life imprisonment in my heart." Lu Dongjie shrugged, "Let's go, lest I be charged with another crime."

Lu Dongjie clapped his hands and stood up, reaching out to pull Zhao Yazhi as he stood up.

"Click."

Suddenly, a white light flashed in front of the two of them, and their photos were immediately taken.

Lu Dongjie reacted quickly, jumped over and subdued the reporter immediately. His technique was also very skillful, as if he had experienced hundreds of battles.

Zhao Yazhi was startled, but now she came back to her senses and looked at this uninvited guest carefully.

It was a girl with a refreshing ponytail, a small figure, wearing a suspender denim suit, and carrying a light-colored bag. She was not conspicuous at all in the crowd.

"Miss, you have to be lucky that you have a camera in your hand, otherwise you would have suffered a lot more than that." Lu Dongjie shook his head, twisted the girl's arm and put it close to the wall.

"Oh...it hurts...let go." The girl shouted loudly that it hurts, and the camera in her hand relaxed.

Lu Dongjie caught the camera with his other hand, pushed and pulled the switch, and saw a string of black film negatives clattering to the ground.

The girl cried out in pain and shouted unwillingly: "I want to write this out. You are having an affair with this woman, and I will ruin your reputation."

When Zhao Ya heard this, she was a little nervous and at a loss. She didn't expect that both of them had deliberately disguised themselves and dressed up, but they were still followed and discovered by someone who wanted to do it.

Lu Dongjie was not a soft persimmon, so he smiled coldly at the threat of this yellow-haired girl.

To deal with such self-righteous people, you have to be tough if you can't do it softly.

"Let me see which newspaper you are from. If you have anything to say, I can tell you." Lu Dongjie smiled slightly.

He lifted the girl up with one hand, walked a few steps forward, opened the car door, and stuffed her directly into the car.

The two seemed to have had a cordial and friendly conversation in the car. Although the girl was a little emotional during the conversation, Lu Dongjie was not angry and remained a gentleman.

Ten minutes later, both parties finally reached a consensus, one letting things go and the other expressing slight regret.

After the girl got out of the car, she glared at Lu Dongjie angrily, packed her things, and left without looking back.

It seems that the result of this negotiation was in Lu Dongjie's favor. I don't know what means he used.

"Let's go. It's a rare time when the flowers are out and the moon is under the moon. I didn't expect anyone to disturb me." Lu Dongjie helped her open the car door.

"What's wrong? Did you bully someone else's girl?" Zhao Yazhi rolled her eyes at him.

"How can that be considered bullying? It's a despicable act for her to expose people's private information for no reason." Lu Dongjie smiled, "I already understand it and I believe she has a sense of proportion."

"How did she know we would be here? She wouldn't have discovered anything." Zhao Yazhi was a little worried.

"We probably met by chance." Lu Dongjie nodded affirmatively, "But she must have remembered my license plate number."

Lu Dongjie had a strong sense of counter-reconnaissance. If he had been followed, it was unlikely that he would have noticed it in advance.

The only reasonable explanation is that the female reporter had already obtained his information before and happened to be passing through here tonight.

Fortunately, this is not the period when dog squads are popular. Serious reporters still have moral integrity and don't bother to sneak around and take photos of others like thieves.

However, this female reporter is a little overconfident and really thinks she is the uncrowned emperor.

"What will we do next?" Zhao Yazhi asked stupidly.

"It is necessary to get an extra car, otherwise it will be inconvenient to get out." Lu Dongjie breathed out softly.

Although this is an isolated case, it also reminds Lu Dongjie that some measures must be taken to prevent these reporters from being targeted.

It is said that a cunning rabbit has three holes. If you drive this car around every day, it will not be difficult for someone to notice you.

"Then go buy a car and put it in my name." Zhao Yazhi suggested.

"Okay, I'll take you to the car dealership in a few days, and you can choose which car model." Lu Dongjie nodded.

"Concentrate on driving, driver." Zhao Yazhi held her head and smiled. She was so lucky to meet this considerate man.

Half an hour later, Lu Dongjie returned her safely upstairs, and the two hugged each other in the dark corridor and said goodbye intimately.

Fortunately she had the key to get in, otherwise her family would be embarrassed to open the door and see Lu Dongjie if they knocked on the door in the middle of the night.

Lu Dongjie returned to the car, then turned around and headed back home.

Unexpectedly, when he was about to arrive, he encountered an inspection by the police. Lu Dongjie had to stop on the side of the road and wait.

"I'm sorry, Lu Sheng, the flood has really washed away the Dragon Emperor Temple." When the policeman saw it was Lu Dongjie, he could only shake his head and smile.

"What happened? Why is there an inspection here in the middle of the night?" Lu Dongjie asked casually.

"A dozen Vietnamese escaped from the refugee camp tonight, and the superiors asked us to search them closely here." The policeman sighed.

"They are unfamiliar with the place and they probably haven't traveled far. They should be hiding nearby." Lu Dongjie deduced.

"We also judged this way, so we strictly checked the entry and exit of this area." The policeman nodded.

"Then I won't disturb you in your official duties." Lu Dongjie nodded and prepared to leave.

"Brother Jie." At this moment, a childish cry turned his attention.

"Hey, sister, why is it you?" Lu Dongjie showed doubts.

This elf-like little girl looked at him timidly and helplessly, with an expression of surprise and grievance.

"Lu Sheng, do you recognize this thin girl?" the police officer asked with a slightly surprised smile.

"I know her. She lives in a building near my house." Lu Dongjie smiled and nodded, then asked, "Why is she here?"

"Oh, she was wandering alone on the street in the middle of the night, and she happened to be seen by a patrolman. He couldn't tell her her home address when he asked her, so we had to take her back to the police station and wait for her family to report the crime and pick her up."

The guy explained.

"I'll take her back." Lu Dongjie shook his head and smiled, waving to the little girl: "Come and get in the car."
