6, Chapter Six(1/2)

This is a canyon in the lowland of the red rock bed ridge. Opal looked at the heavy snow that buried the rocks, stood in the open space of the canyon, and used the power of faith to sweep away the snow.

The layer of snow that was stronger than ice shook and loosened, and a small piece was moved out. Driven by Opal's spiritual power, it slowly flew high into the sky and landed on the snow.

One piece after another, the snow was cleared away, revealing a rust-colored rock bed, and a spacecraft lying quietly on the ground. Its injectors were filled with sand.

Opal said to Rector: "Teacher, can you use your faith to help me fix it?"

Rector said: "Is this your mother's spaceship?"

Opal nodded, and Lecter stared at the line of signs on the lower right side of the spacecraft - above it was a mark of flames, numbered Era vi703.

"The Empire's Flame Army." Rector said, "Small battleship No. 703."

Opal said: "Yes, she mentioned it! What does it mean? Is it related to my life experience?"

Lecter said: "Twenty years ago, the empire's battleship force suffered a defeat and was disbanded."

Opal asked: "Is my mother's hometown in the Leo Galaxy?"

Rector nodded and said, "Maybe, does she have an ID card?"

Opal shook his head and said: "It's lost. She said that she made an emergency landing here and the spacecraft was broken. There were only a few people on it and they lacked medical conditions. They all died. The miners on this planet were unable to help her. From Chi Yan

The merchants from Xinglai wanted money, but she didn’t have enough money, so she wanted to use the spaceship as collateral, but the merchants didn’t want the spaceship.”

Rector asked: "Were you born at that time?"

Opal shook his head blankly, he couldn't explain clearly.

Rector said: "Who is your father? She didn't tell you?"

Opal shook her head.

Rector checked it once: "It's very damaged. The shell and the atomic furnace were blown up, and there's no star map. You have to repair it first."

Opal said: "Yes, teacher, please, can you complete it?"

Lecter muttered: "I mean, you complete it."

Opal said: "There are no replacement parts. You can use the power of faith to make some parts. I can't do it."

Rector said: "Then I can't do it either."

Opal said: "You can do it!"

Rector said: "So, you can do it too."

Opal: "..."

Lecter stopped joking with him and said seriously: "The power of belief is not like physical power. It is not restricted by any rules. As long as you believe you can do it, it will have the desired effect."

Opal asked: "I can't do it, teacher, you promised me!"

Rector said: "This is your mother's relic. Your faith in her will definitely make it happen."

Opal said: "I really can't do it. I haven't even seen what the parts look like. What is the limit of the power of faith?"

Rector said: "There is no limit. It is small enough to affect an atom, or stop the propagation of light. If you believe you can do it, you can also use it to disintegrate a planet and move an entire galaxy."

Opal was dumbfounded, and Lecter added: "If you are firm enough, the power of faith can even destroy the entire universe."

Opal said: "You...teacher, do you have such a strong ability?"

"I'm not that crazy, or I don't believe I can do it," Rector said.

Opal thought hard about the spacecraft and said, "But I have never seen those parts before!"

Rector said: "I haven't seen him before either. We are the same."

"No." Opal said, "Teacher, you must have seen it before. Please do me a favor. I will practice hard in the future."

Lecter put his hands behind his back and said casually: "Then meditate here until you understand it."

Opal said angrily: "Whoever said 'yes' just now, you didn't keep your word!"

Lecter ignored him and turned around to leave. Opal sat in the open snow and began to meditate like Lecter. His spirit had the ability to initially turn into an entity, like many luminous roots.

Plunging into the ground. There was a huge red light deep in the ground, faintly emitting a painful sound.

Opal's heart trembled, she opened her eyes and regained her mental power.

"Teacher!" Opal turned around and said.

He found that there was a lot of metal around him, and the alloy skin was half a meter thick. He tried knocking on a piece of metal and knew that it was used to repair the outer shell of the ship's hull.

Lecter has gone nowhere. What was that just now?! Is that the consciousness of Planet B11? Opal breathed slowly, calmed down, and thought wildly for a moment. He stared at the spacecraft and tried his best to move a piece of metal the size of a door panel.

, it's too heavy.

Opal tried to use the power of faith to mend the broken hull, but it was very difficult to even let it fly off the ground, let alone weld it to the hull.

The metal piece slid down and made a loud clang.

Opal broke into a sweat.

The spaceship has been here for a long time, sixteen years, as old as Opal. Sixteen years is enough for the rocks of the mountain to blend into one with it. The erosion of rain and the gravel brought by strong winds will condense again after weathering.

The clay has firmly corroded it into a giant piece of scrap iron.

Opal pondered for a moment and began to adopt other methods. He tried to use a big sword to clear away part of the surrounding soil and observed where it was broken. This work lasted a whole day, and Opal was so tired that he was sweating profusely.

I grabbed some snow to eat and lay down on the open ground, intending to rest for a while.

Not knowing how long he had slept, he was awakened by a sound of metal friction. Opal opened his eyes, staggered up and backed away, subconsciously looking for the source of the sound.

The dilapidated and almost rotten small battleship was suspended in the air. Its suspension formed a huge black shadow. Thousands of metal pieces shone with silver light and flew towards the battleship. They were like snow flakes, covering the rusty outer shell of the battleship.

Every metal piece is attached and integrated with the hull.

And there was a man standing at the top of the cliff—Lecter.

He held the big sword in his right hand and pressed it weakly with his left hand, saying: "Opal, you can't do it because subconsciously, you never believe that you can do it."

Opal breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Thank you, teacher."

Rector said: "You're welcome." After saying that, he withdrew his hand and turned around to leave.

At that moment, the small battleship standing across the zenith lost the support of the power of faith and fell from a height of nearly ten meters!

Opal yelled and shouted: "Teacher——!"

Opal didn't care to look at Lecter anymore, rushed towards the center of the canyon, pushed his head with both hands, and yelled: "Stop -! No! Don't do this!"

The falling battleship gradually slowed down and then floated diagonally one meter above the ground.

Opal: "..."

His pupils contracted violently, and his mind went blank. All distracting thoughts were expelled from his mind. His whole body was shaking, and he slowly put it down. There was a loud bang, and the surrounding snow flew up under the shock wave of the heavy object falling to the ground.

Opal gasped violently like a convulsion, his back was covered in cold sweat, and his whole body was as wet as if he had been fished out of water. He slowly shook his head in disbelief.

"So, you see, you can do it." Lecter hugged one knee and sat on another stone, saying thoughtfully.

Opal's eyes were empty and he nodded slowly. Lecter smiled and said, "This is the power of faith. Just believe in yourself."

The winter nights were getting warmer, and they had almost cleared away the earth-boring insects in the cave. Opal went to move some supplies back to the ground, and opened the outer shell of the battleship. It was already a mess inside.

The atomic furnace was damaged, the flank engine was blown out, and a new jet engine needed to be replaced.

The navigation system lost several parts when it hit the mountain, and the star map could not be found.

"What do you want to do with it?" Rector stood aside and watched Opal busy.

Opal collected all the usable parts and placed them on the snow to observe their appearance. He planned to take them apart but was afraid that he would not be able to put them back together.

He said: "I want to make some parts and repair it. Teacher, you don't keep your word! You violated the code of the Star Knight."

Lecter smiled and said: "Which code did I violate? You just asked me to help you repair the spacecraft, but you didn't ask me to help you repair it."

Opal was speechless for a long time, still thinking about this matter, and then said: "You also deceived the businessman who sold dark energy batteries..."

Rector said: "That's because you lied to him, I didn't lie to him."

Opal: "..."

Opal muttered something dissatisfied, which made Lector very amused. He packed up all the parts, came over and sat in front of Lector, and said, "Teacher, what are you going to learn today?"

"There is nothing left to learn." Rector said casually: "Teacher, there is nothing left to teach you."

Opal said: "No...no way, you know so much."

Lecter smiled gently and said: "There are many things that you need to leave here and understand firsthand. Those are things I cannot teach you."

Opal nodded and said: "I... will find energy for you. I also need to find some parts myself. Thank you, teacher... don't leave in a hurry. I... don't want to leave you."

Lecter glanced at the box in his hand and said: "We still lack 100,000 points of energy. We still have a lot of time, so there is no need to rush. I know you also have a plan of your own."

Opal now is completely different from Opal a year ago. He is no longer a simple miner. Thinking back to more than five hundred days ago when he was digging for rhodolite in the dark mine, it seemed like he was a miner.

The dead self is like a walking corpse.

But now, he truly has his own soul and his own life.

As he left the canyon, he suddenly thought of something: With Lecter's ability, he could grab a lot of energy. Why didn't he do this?
