Chapter 27: A mess

After class, the kitten hid in Su Li's schoolbag and kept silent. She peeked several times worriedly, but every time she saw it curled up inside, like a ball of snow, quiet and well-behaved, so she felt relieved.

Come down.

This cat is really cute. Every time Su Li looks in, she will see its beautiful eyes like gems. She begins to look forward to going back from school early so that she can buy delicious food for it and decorate it.

A cozy little nest.

But what I didn't expect was that the kitten was discovered before school was over.

It was discovered in the second class in the afternoon. Halfway through the class, the kitten suddenly meowed "meow". Although the sound was not loud, it was very abrupt, and it immediately interrupted the conversation on the podium.

Teacher Zhang spoke with great joy.

Teacher Zhang stopped and glanced around the classroom. After finding no trace of the cat, he asked with a gloomy face, "Who is peeking at the video in class?"

No one answered, and everyone was a little confused as to what was going on.

The kitten meowed a few more times, and a classmate whispered, "It doesn't seem like the sound in the video, there is a real cat."

Everyone then looked around with curious eyes, no less serious than when listening to the lecture.

Teacher Zhang also heard that it was a real cat meowing, and his sharp eyes swept over the rows of students, "Who brought the cat here? Stand up, or I will go down and search."

Chen Xi moved and was about to stand up when Su Li pulled her back. She had to take responsibility for her own affairs. She stood up and whispered, "I brought it."

Teacher Zhang glanced at her, got off the podium and walked to her, "Where's the cat?"

"In the bag!"

"Throw it out right away."

Su Li did not move. She lowered her head and glanced at the cat with its little head sticking out. It kept meowing, its big eyes full of fear, and it was wandering around as if looking for someone to rely on.

She didn't know why it barked suddenly. Maybe it was bored after staying there for too long, or maybe it was hungry.

The teacher glanced into the schoolbag. The kitten didn't know whether it was frightened by him or just a coincidence. It peed all of a sudden. The yellow urine flowed from the book to the bottom of the schoolbag, creating a piece of light yellow filth, exuding bursts of odor.

The pungent smell of urine made the surrounding students cover their noses, and some even screamed.

Teacher Zhang frowned, picked up her schoolbag, and threw the cat into the corridor with a look of disgust on her face, as if she was throwing away a bag of garbage.

After throwing away his schoolbag, he walked to the podium and said with a gloomy face, "The school has a clear rule that pets are not allowed. The school rules are clearly written on the back wall. Please come to my office after school."

Su Li did not respond or sit down. The teacher ignored her and continued to teach the lesson just now.

The students around him were still talking in low voices, "I just felt the smell of cat. I thought there was something wrong with my nose, but there really was a cat."

"I don't know what she was thinking. Why did she bring the kitten to school? She's not an ignorant primary school student. Didn't she know that she would violate the rules?"

"Who knows her? She is always weird."

The teacher finally shouted from the podium, "Stop talking and listen carefully."

Everyone became quiet.

Su Li was still standing. She didn't dare to sit down until the teacher asked her to sit down.

But it didn't matter whether she was standing or not. Her position was right next to the window. Standing there and tilting her head, she could see clearly what was going on outside the corridor.

While the teacher was writing seriously on the blackboard, she turned her head and looked outside. She saw that her schoolbag was thrown near the railing wall, and the books and stationery inside fell out, making it messy like a pile of paper.

There was a brutally dissected corpse, and the yellow cat urine looked like its blood.

The kitten had completely walked out of the schoolbag, looking around with wary eyes. It stayed next to the schoolbag and did not dare to go far, looking pitifully frightened and helpless.

A fat teacher walked over from the corridor at this time. He took a curious look at the messy schoolbag and the frightened kitten on the ground, and then looked at Su Li standing in the classroom. He seemed to understand what was going on, and stepped over

The schoolbag and the kitten left in a hurry.

After a while, another tall teacher came over. He also took a curious look at the messy schoolbag and the frightened kitten on the ground. Then he looked at Su Li standing in the classroom. He seemed to understand what was going on and stepped over.

The schoolbag and the kitten left in a hurry.

After a while, a boy came over holding a pile of homework books. He was tall, handsome, and had an indifferent expression. Su Li took a closer look and saw that it was Xu Chen.

Xu Chen curiously took a look at the messy schoolbag and the frightened kitten on the ground, and then looked at Su Li standing in the classroom. He seemed to understand what had happened. He squatted down, took out a pack of tissues from the pile of books, and put

Carefully wipe away any cat urine on the floor and books.

Su Li was stunned, not expecting him to do this. After taking a look at his face, the other party did not show the slightest trace of disgust. Instead, he looked solemn as if he was doing something sacred.

After wiping the books, he neatly packed them back into his schoolbag, zipped them up, picked them up, walked to the window and handed them to Su Li, his expression still very indifferent.

Su Li first secretly glanced at Teacher Zhang on the podium. He was still writing seriously on the blackboard. He quickly took the schoolbag and whispered, "Thank you!" The voice was so low that he was not sure whether the other party could hear it, thinking that there would be more in the future anyway.

Taking the opportunity, it's not too late to say thank you, and quickly stuff the schoolbag into the desk.

Xu Chen turned around and picked up the poor kitten on the ground. Su Li thought he would pick it up and hand it to her. She was already ready to take it and stuff it back into her schoolbag, but to her surprise, he didn't do that.

, I saw him roll up the hem of the black T-shirt he was wearing, put the kitten in his pocket, picked up the homework book on his side, and left.

Su Li frowned and looked to Chen Xi aside. She was writing class notes carefully and did not see what happened just now.

She thought that she should talk to her after class and ask her to help her get the cat back from Xu Chen.

Just as I was thinking this, the bell rang for the end of get out of class.

As soon as the teacher left, the students left the classroom one after another talking and laughing.

Chen Xi immediately stood up and looked towards the corridor and asked Su Li, "Huh? Where are your schoolbag and cat?"

"Xu Chen was passing by in the corridor just now. He helped me bring my schoolbag in, and the cat was taken away by him."

"Him?" Chen Xi's eyes immediately lit up and he smiled sweetly, "That's it. I'll go to his place that night to help you get the cat back."

"Okay, remember to say thank you to him for me. My throat was a little dry just now. I don't know if he heard what I said."

Chen Xi nodded, "No problem. In fact, you don't have to be so polite. He is my friend, so naturally he is also your friend. Friends should help each other."

Su Li laughed after hearing this, feeling warm in her heart.

************************

When school was over, Su Li picked up her schoolbag and went to Teacher Zhang's office. There were several teachers there. Some were immersed in writing, while others were chatting with other teachers sitting next to them.

Teacher Zhang was sitting at a desk near the door, looking like he had been waiting for her for a long time.

Su Li walked in, stood nearby and called "Teacher".

The teacher immediately asked, "Why did you bring a cat to the classroom?"

"I picked it up on the road." She was a little nervous. It felt like all the teachers in the office were looking at her. Her face couldn't help but feel hot again. She didn't know where to put her hands, so she could only put them vertically.

On both sides of her body, she felt that she must be stupid looking like this.

At this moment, Gu Ling'an came in from outside with a bunch of information. After the two of them looked at each other, they were both stunned.

Gu Lingan first regained his normal expression, walked to the desk in the back, and handed the information to a female teacher. His attitude was neither humble nor overbearing, "These are some manuscripts you asked me to translate last time."

The female teacher smiled with satisfaction, and a male teacher next to her stretched out her head with envy on her face, "It would be great if Ling An was my student."

The female teacher smiled proudly, "Just look forward to it, maybe there will be another one in the next session."

Teacher Zhang listened to the side and sighed. Maybe he felt upset due to the comparison. He began to scold Su Li, "What you did seriously affected the classroom discipline, you know? If the principal finds out, our class will be punished."

Points were deducted.”

Su Li didn't speak. She looked down at the floor. The red brick floor had been stepped on and faded. A line of ants were passing by, carrying some biscuit crumbs and walking forward in an orderly manner.

At this time, Teacher Zhang lectured her some more words, but she only heard the last sentence: "Today's students are not good at all."

Returning her attention from the ants, she heard footsteps walking softly past her, bringing with it a familiar scent of laundry detergent. She immediately buried her head lower. It was Gu Ling'an. It was so bad that she wanted to crawl under the floor.
