Chapter 90 Nightmare

The group stopped and climbed to the top of the tower again. After killing several disgusting and difficult flesh-and-blood beasts, they finally stepped onto the terrace at the top.

"Where is Arkanagos?" Tess asked.

"Shh-" Mad'an suddenly interrupted her: "I seemed to hear something, like the sound of flapping wings in the wind."

After hearing this, everyone looked up and vaguely saw a huge blurry figure in the dark night sky, like a nightmare traveling through the night.

"What a nightmare!" Khadgar looked solemn.

There are two moons in this world, and Lady Bai happened to poke her head out from behind the thick clouds at this time, exposing the scorched black bone dragon flying over Karazhan in the bright moonlight.

"Strange! How does a big bone frame fly with damaged membranes on its wings? This is not aerodynamic!" Jin Di asked.

Med'an shrugged: "Wake up! Is this the time to pay attention to aerodynamics?"

Fortunately, Khadgar also started out as a curious mage apprentice. After hard study and practice, he gradually grew into an archmage, so he could understand Jindi better. He explained kindly: "The Nightmare is no longer

Arcanagos is gone, and you cannot evaluate a dragon based on its flying ability. The Nightmare now is just a dead creature driven by magic."

Moros glanced at Khadgar with disdain: "Speaking of magic-driven dead things, I remember the time I asked you to help set the table, but you were lazy and insisted on casting automation spells on the teapots, cups and plates. As a result, they ran to the table by themselves.

We were looking for a spot, and they were fighting each other, and they all fell to pieces in the process of fighting for the position!”

"Is this happening? I forgot about it, hahahaha." Khadgar laughed awkwardly.

The Nightmare seemed to notice the laughter, and perhaps felt that the presence of these humans offended its rule on the terrace, so it swooped down and killed them.

"I'll come!" Tai Lan knew in his heart that this dragon was extraordinary and could not be compared with ghost guests and actors. He was afraid that his companions would be lost, so he stepped forward and raised his sword horizontally, preparing for a solid defensive line between the sea and the sky.

Take the first wave of blows from this bone dragon.

The next moment, an overwhelming force hit his long sword, which was as stable as a rock. In an instant, it was bent into an arc and almost collapsed!

"It's so heavy!" Tailan gritted his teeth and tried his best to push back the huge force. But the dragon's claw did not move at all. Instead, he pushed the long sword away. The tip of the dragon's claw passed by the side of Tailan's cheek, bringing it with him.

There was a burning pain.

Nightmare's huge body passed by Tailan and landed on the terrace, causing the tower to sway.

Tailan took four or five steps back in a row, feeling a little embarrassed but still succeeded in taking the Nightmare's first blow, thus saving face.

He said enthusiastically: "Huh, this dragon looks so powerful but that's it! I took a blow and was unscathed, wasn't it?"

Med'an stretched out his finger and said: "Since you are unscathed, then don't cover your face and say this, okay?"

Only then did Tailan let go of the red and swollen cheeks caused by the dragon's claws: "Who do you think you are, Med'an? You are so capable of causing trouble!"

No matter what they were saying, the Nightmare sprayed out a searing breath towards Khadgar and Jindi who were standing aside. Khadgar hurriedly held up an ice wall to barely block it.

"Hold the faucet and don't let it spray people everywhere!" Khadgar ordered.

"Leave it to me!" Tai Lan danced out several sword flowers and attacked Nightmare's head, attracting the dragon's target and taking over its main attack.

"Come together!" Tess jumped out of the shadows, the dagger flying and leaving deep scratches on the keel.

But she was eager to kill, and she stood too close to Tailan. The Nightmare raised her dragon claw and struck out with a cleave. Tailan managed to parry it with his sword in both hands, but the shock left her arms numb.

But the sweeping momentum of the dragon's claws was not over. After being parried away, it attacked Tess on the side. She couldn't dodge in time, so she had to forcefully catch it. She was carried forward by the dragon's strange power and hit the tower wall before stopping.

Down.

"Except for Tyran, no one else should stand at the leading position!" Khadgar ordered hurriedly.

But before he finished speaking, the dragon's tail swept out and brushed against the edge of Jin Di's robe. Just as Jin Di was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he found that a corner of his robe was hanging on the tip of the dragon's tail, and his whole body was immediately attracted by the rest of the dragon's tail.

He was so strong that he jumped up from the ground and hit the wall directly.

"You can't stand on the dragon's tail, or it will be swept down by its tail!" Khadgar immediately commanded.

Tailan said angrily: "Are you saying it too hindsight?"

"Then what can be done?" Khadgar smiled bitterly: "Do you think I have experience fighting a giant dragon?"

The five-person team has fought several battles since entering Karazhan, but this is the first time they have felt such tremendous pressure. The Nightmare is worthy of being a dragon, it is too powerful. Under its huge body is a terrifying body.

Power, coupled with the innate magical ability of dragon language, coupled with the terrifying breath that can be released casually, any attack has a fatal effect, which can seriously threaten their life safety.

Even Med'an, whose combat intuition was not very keen, felt unprecedented pressure in the face of the powerful Nightmare, knowing that if he was not careful, he would be injured or even die. People like Tess and Jindi were not familiar with the dragon clan's situation when they came up.

He made a mistake in his stance and suffered a big loss. Tailan, the only healer in the team, resisted the Nightmare's attack head-on and was unable to heal at all. Among the five, he was the only one who could receive the dragon's attack head-on.

Strange power.

"Can you put another spell such as a confinement circle, and control it first!" Tyran yelled at Khadgar: "Let me free up my hands to heal Tess and Jindi!"

"I'll give it a try!" Khadgar tried the confinement circle with the attitude of treating a dead horse as a living horse, but the Nightmare struggled easily as soon as the magic circle exploded.

Even a powerful mage like Khadgar seems to have lost his way. The blue dragon is the best at magic among the five dragon clans, and the Nightmare has both the magic ability of the blue dragon and the fearlessness of the bone dragon. Its

The spell resistance is extremely high, which is undoubtedly a nightmare for spell casters.

"Damn it, what should I do?" Khadgar was almost desperate. He thought of Medivh, who died 14 years ago, and of the scene where his teacher easily killed Akanagos in the Black Gate.

Teacher, I didn’t expect that after more than ten years of hard training, I’m still a world away from you! How wonderful it would be if you hadn’t been corrupted by the devil, and if I hadn’t been forced to kill you!

The sound of horrific explosions interrupted his thoughts. A dozen fireballs blasted at the side of Nightmare like machine guns, causing the Bone Dragon to roar again and again, and its huge body almost lost its balance and fell.

A figure wearing a mage's robe slowly walked out of the tower. His tall and thin figure, and the fireballs he continuously launched from his palms gave Khadgar a momentary illusion.

"Teacher, are you here to help us?" he murmured to himself.

But he was wrong. The visitor walked out of the shadow of the tower and stood under the moonlight. He was not Medivh, but Medivh's father!
