1, Chapter 1

On the endless plain, dead branches are covered with ice, and the ground is covered with thick white snow. Rugged stones are piled together randomly, and are blown cold and hard by the cold wind.
A husky is on the snow, and the ice reflects its fresh silver-grey fur, graceful shoulders and neck lines, powerful long legs, three fires on its head, and ice-blue eyes.
Elegant, handsome, and majestic...if he could just stay still.
"Whoops, whoops...where are you running?" Hang Shiqi stretched out his furry head, and the dog peeked out of the stone, swiping his eyes left and right. He couldn't find the fat bird grabbing the chicken legs, and he groaned angrily.
He stretched out his hind legs and sat down on the ground, muttering to himself: "Stinky bird, you eat so fat and snatch chicken legs from others, don't let me catch you, or I will pull off your legs and roast them."
After saying this, the more I thought about it, the more aggrieved I became. I raised my neck and howled: "Ugh - that's my last chicken leg."
Hang Shiqi came to the north to perform a mission. He liked to eat chicken drumsticks from Southern Xia. Knowing that they were not available in the north, he bought many in advance. But after eating all the way, it was already the last drumstick.
Hang Shiqi thought that as long as he completed the task early, he would be able to go back. He held the chicken legs in one hand and the information in the other and began to study the mission objectives. However, before he could open the information, a half-meter-tall snow sculpture suddenly swooped over and took it away in one gulp.
took the chicken drumstick from his hand.
Hang Shiqi instantly transformed into a beast shape and ran after the snow sculpture for an hour. Unexpectedly, the guy escaped.
After howling a few times, Hang Shiqi suddenly burped. He recovered from the sadness of losing the drumstick and suddenly patted his hind legs with his front paws: "Oh no, did I just lose my luggage?"
Every adult orc has a small space in which he can store his belongings when changing his animal form. He was just chasing the snow eagle and forgot all about it.
Not only did I lose my mission information, but I didn't even put the clothes on my body. All I had left was a metal dog tag hanging around my neck. If I didn't want to run away, I would have to keep my animal form.
"It's okay, it's not a big problem." Hang Shiqi comforted himself: "Although I seem a little lost now, although I have lost the map and information, and although I don't know what the target looks like, what its name is, and where it is, the northern border
King, how could anyone not know about it? You can find it just by asking anyone."
"Wait until I find him..." Hang Shiqi squinted slightly, a trace of confusion flashed in his ice-blue eyes. Completing tasks is an instinct rooted in his heart, just like eating and drinking. But occasionally he will
Doubts and resistance arise, and you want to think about what you are doing, but such thoughts will soon be erased.
Not far from Hang Shiqi, hundreds of young frost wolves lay quietly in ambush. Their formation was neat and disciplined, and they did not move in the face of the prey that was so close.
The leader of the frost wolf is exceptionally tall and strong, its light brown eyes staring closely at the prey, looking for the right opportunity.
"Ouch -" He raised his head and let out a long roar, stretching his body upwards like a taut bowstring. That was the signal to order the attack.
"Roar!" The frost wolves behind them roared in unison, leaping out of the snow and attacking their prey.
The Frostwolf clan, as the orc royal family that rules the north, are natural hunters on the snowy plains. Even in times of peace, they still maintain the habit of winter hunting and training.
The person responsible for hunting today is the newly adult frost wolf. The target of the hunt is the snow antelope. There are usually hundreds of these antelopes in a group. They move together to pick up grass seeds and tree fruits buried under the snow. They are very fast and can move around.
The hooves are long and useful, allowing it to leap high from the snow and kick the enemy's head hard.
The young frost wolves are not afraid of the opponent's attack. They have a clear division of labor into groups of three or five, and some are responsible for feigning attacks to attract the attention of the snow antelope and lure them to attack.
Some are responsible for harvesting, quietly approaching from behind, waiting for the moment when the snow gazelle falls, and then pounce on it quickly, killing it with one blow.
Some are responsible for surrounding and driving them away, blocking the escape route of the snow gazelle from all sides and never letting go of a single prey.
Ao Wu, the leader of the frost wolves, stood quietly watching the actions of the wolves, with evaluation and scrutiny in his eyes.
"Boss, how do this year's new batch of newcomers look?" Ao Jing followed Ao Wu and whispered.
He and Ao Wu were training partners who grew up together, and they are also the most trusted subordinates of the other party's successor as the Wolf Queen. They are also the trainers of this group of young frost wolves.
Mad Dog Ao Jing. Madness refers to his reckless ferocity and fearlessness in fighting, and Dog refers to his illustrious loyalty towards the Wolf King.
"Report the law and obey the order, but you don't know how to adapt." Ao Wu's voice was as cold as if it had been soaked in ice water. His speech was neither fast nor slow, but it carried a kind of compelling power, which made several subordinates around him unconscious.
Tucked their tail: "The battlefield situation is changing rapidly, and rigid implementation of tactics is not enough. They must learn to observe the situation and respond flexibly."
"Yes, I didn't train well." Ao Jing lowered his head and his ears followed suit.
"They are just newcomers with no experience. After three months of training, Brother Ao Jing is already very good. Boss, please don't be so strict." Shuang Yue came out to smooth things over. As the only daughter of the Frost Wolf Priest, Shuang Yue has an aloof status.
Ao Wu was usually quite polite to her. At this time, other orcs did not dare to say anything, but she had no scruples.
Ao Jing, however, did not appreciate it and said for Ao Wu: "I just like the boss to be strict with me and love me deeply."
He raised his eyes again and looked at Ao Wu's expression: "Boss, everything you said is right. If there is any problem, please teach me more. I will definitely do better next time."
"Yes. Personal ability and tactical coordination are acceptable." Ao Wu turned and walked away. After a few seconds, his faint voice came from the wind: "Make up for the shortcomings, and we can look forward to the future."
Ao Jing became silly and happy when he heard this. Ao Wu had always been strict, so such a comment could be regarded as a rare compliment.
The newcomers still have many immature aspects, but they also have great potential. Ao Wu saw the bloody nature of these newly adult wolf cubs. Ao Jing trained them well.
But it is also true that they are too rigid in their orders. In one aspect, they lack actual combat experience. In addition, it is also related to the nature of the Frostwolf clan. Frostwolves pay attention to absolute order. These young Frostwolves have done a good job in obedience and discipline, but...
Perhaps too much emphasis on obedience has led them to rely too much on the order itself and give up on self-thinking, which has led to the fact that their independent judgment and adaptability are indeed worse than ever.
While Ao Wu was thinking, he walked to a quiet place next to the battlefield and transformed into a human form. He wore a white linen suit on his upper body and a pair of single trousers on his lower body. He had a wolf tooth hanging on his chest and a wolf tooth-shaped pattern on his face.
He is about 1.9 meters tall and looks fierce, like a hunter from an ancient tribe.
This hunter was different from ordinary humans. He had a pair of black wolf ears on top of his head, and a fluffy gray tail trailed behind him. It swung gently behind him unconsciously as he moved.
A snow sculpture shuttled through the clouds and swooped down.
Ao Wu stretched out his strong arms, and the snow sculpture flapped its wings twice and landed steadily on Ao Wu's forearm.
The snow sculpture had a chicken drumstick in its mouth that it got from nowhere. This thing is not common in the north.
The snow sculpture snored twice, stretched its neck, and brought the chicken leg to Ao Wu's mouth. Ao Wu glanced at the cold chicken leg and reluctantly reached out to take it.
He knew that if he didn't pick it up, the stupid bird would find a way to put the drumstick into his mouth. No matter how many times he taught him, it would be useless. Feeding is the stupid bird's instinct to express its love.
Ao Wu looked down and saw that the chicken leg had been bitten. It was obviously snatched from a passerby by the snow sculpture. Snow sculptures usually go out to play and do not fly too far. The unlucky guy who had the chicken leg stolen from him should also be on this ice field.
.
It's just that it's freezing in the north. Except for the aboriginal people and the frostwolf tribe who hunt in winter, few orcs come here in winter.
Chicken drumsticks are not a food from the North. It is somewhat intriguing that this man brought food all the way to the far north ice field at this time.
"Where did you find it?" Ao Wu asked.
"Tweet, twee." The snow sculpture shouted, gestured, and danced, trying to tell Ao Wu that this chicken leg was hard-won. It had been chased by the man for an hour, and it almost turned into a roasted bird.
Chasing a bird for an hour for a chicken leg? Ao Wu thought to himself, it seems that this guy who broke into the northern border is not very smart either.
Hang Shiqi, who was not very smart, successfully lost track of the snow sculpture on the ice field and lost his direction. After running for so long, he was hungry and thirsty. He recalled the smell of chicken legs and became more and more angry.
The smell of blood drifted along the cold wind. Hang Shiqi was not in the habit of eating raw food, but he was so hungry at the moment that he couldn't help but swallow a few saliva and subconsciously ran towards the source of the smell.
From a distance, Hang Shiqi saw a large group of canine animals similar in appearance and coat to himself eating.
The same kind? Hang Shiqi shook his ears, sped up his feet, and ran towards the opposite side.
"Ouch——" Alert!
A frost wolf on guard outside saw Hang Shiqi rushing over from a distance and issued a warning command.
Hang Qi didn't understand the wolf pack's code. He just felt that the other party was welcoming him, and shouted happily: "Ooooooooooooo-"
The alert Frost Wolf was stunned. The voice was very similar to theirs, but Frost Wolf did not have the habit of shouting endlessly like singing.
As Hang Shiqi approached, his frost wolf-like appearance was also exposed to the sight of all the frost wolves.
The wolves that were still eating stopped and looked at this strange outsider.
The outsiders are smaller than them, could they be cubs? But if the cubs don't all stay in the royal city, how could they appear on the Arctic ice sheet with the harsh climate?
Alien race? But I have never heard of any race that looks so similar to frost wolves.
"Hello!" Hang Shiqi didn't notice the danger and swung his tail excitedly: "Is this hunting? It's my first time to come to the north. I didn't expect to meet the same kind. It's the first time I've seen so many of the same kind.
.You are so awesome, you caught so many prey?"
Unlike me, when a fat bird snatched away a chicken leg after eating it, I was very angry when I couldn't catch it.
"Roar!" Take it!
Ao Jing didn't care whether Hang Shiqi was a cub or not. If he showed up at the frost wolf's hunting ground, he was acting suspiciously. He should be arrested first.
Before Hang Shiqi could figure out the situation, he saw several frost wolves rushing towards him.
The tips of the sharp claws were shining brightly in the sun, and he greeted him without hesitation.
"Ouch! Why are you arresting me? Tell me what you have to say!" Hang Shiqi shouted loudly while standing on his hind legs, but the orcs did not stop at all and rushed towards him together.
Yaoshou, the dog was killed. This was the first time Hang Shiqi encountered this situation. He yelled for help, turned around and ran away.
Several young frost wolves followed closely behind.
Hang Shiqi's original Husky is a sled dog, with good speed and endurance. It runs silkier on the snow than on flat ground.
But the frost wolf is also adapted to the climate of the ice field. Because it is taller, it is not slow at all in pursuit.
Hang Shiqi was about to be caught up when he suddenly saw a tall orc standing with his back to him in front of him, with a big white bird lying on his shoulder, which looked familiar.
But at this time, he could no longer care about identification, and shouted for help, his voice swirling in the cold wind: "Help, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, help"
Ao Wu was a little surprised when he heard the sound. Except for the frost wolves hunting in winter in the extreme northern ice fields, there were generally no other orcs. But the frost wolves would never come to disturb him, let alone roar like this unruly.
