Chapter 54: Christmas Eve(1/2)

Tang Qian spent the next time feeling "uneasy" until at 6:30 in the evening, his cell phone rang again.

"Hey, Don, I'm right outside the Toyota Sports Center. Have you packed up?"

"Uh, clean up? What else are you packing up? I'm still practicing, and besides, I'm only 6 now..." Before Tang Qian could finish, Taylor Swift shouted: "What? You're still practicing.

?You haven’t cleaned up yet??? Asshole!!! Go take a shower right away, and then change into the clothes you will wear for the music festival that day!!!”

"Isn't it just a Christmas? Is it necessary to make it so grand?" Tang Qian muttered to himself, but unexpectedly, Taylor caught him and yelled: "Tang, you'd better hurry up!

One thing, I have never liked waiting for others since I was a child! I will only give you half an hour, remember it is half an hour!" After saying that, Taylor Swift hung up the phone.

"Now, isn't it only 6:32? Didn't it say 7 o'clock in the beginning? Why did it change in the blink of an eye? Alas, women are women, it's really difficult!"

At 6:42, Tang Qian finished packing and walked out of the Toyota Sports Center. As soon as he came out, a bright red Maserati was particularly conspicuous. Even though the sky was already dark at the moment, Tang Qian still saw it at a glance.

"Um? Don, why are you so fast?" After Taylor finished speaking, he looked at his phone and said with a surprised look on his face.

"Aha? What's the problem? Didn't you tell me to move faster?" Tang Qian looked puzzled, thinking that this woman is really strange.

Unexpectedly, after Tang Qian finished speaking, Taylor actually put his little nose over and sniffed, and then said something that made Tang Qian extremely speechless: "Tang, tell me honestly, have you taken a shower?"

"Ah?" Tang Qian was speechless.

After leaving the El Segundo area and entering the bustling city of Los Angeles, night has completely fallen. Since today is Christmas Eve, most of the houses are decorated with lights and colorful decorations from top to bottom.

Various Christmas decorations. Christmas is definitely an extremely important holiday for the American people, but for the Chinese Tang Qian, it is dispensable. After all, his heart is still on the other side of the ocean.

"How's it going, Tang? This is your first time coming to the United States for Christmas. The atmosphere in Los Angeles is great, very festive." Taylor said to Tang Qian while driving through the bustling main streets of Los Angeles.

"Well, this is my first time celebrating Christmas." Tang Qian replied absentmindedly while looking at the feasting and feasting outside the window.

"Really? Have you never celebrated Christmas in China?" Taylor Swift said in surprise.

"That's not true, it's just that I'm old-fashioned." Tang Qian replied.

"Aha~ So you know it too~" Taylor Swift said.

"Why are you talking about this, Taylor? You are a big star and have as many friends as dogs. On this great holiday, if you don't go and have a good time with your friends, why are you asking me?"

"Do you think I have a lot of friends?" Taylor asked.

"Uh, isn't it?" Tang Qian said.

"Of course not." Taylor Swift said: "To tell you the truth, I have only had one real good friend in my life, and that is Selena. But today she has a date with Justin, so I can only

Looking for you."

"What? Aren't you willing yet?" Taylor Swift said with wide eyes.

"Uh, no, no, I'm honored." Tang Qian said innocently.

In fact, to be honest, Tang Qian is reluctant to come out. The first is that he wants to practice, the second is that he has no interest in Lao Shizi's Christmas Eve, and the third is that he is a little afraid of Taylor Swift. Because

He always felt that he was quite restricted and uncomfortable when he was with a top star.

Being friends with a top star was a scenario that Tang Qian might have fantasized about during his adolescence, but as he grew older, this unrealistic thought faded away.

It wasn't until I came to the United States and met Taylor Swift that this almost YY feeling emerged again.

"Where are we going?" Tang Qian asked.

"It's not far away. I have reserved three restaurants. Don, you can choose for yourself." Taylor Swift said.

"Three restaurants? Why do you have to book so many? Even if I were a basketball player, I couldn't eat so much, right?" Tang Qian said in surprise when he heard that Taylor booked three restaurants at once.

"Oh, you misunderstood Tang, because I don't know your taste, so I directly booked three restaurants to avoid having no place to dine." Taylor Swift replied casually.

"Ah? Isn't this too extravagant and wasteful for you?" Tang Qian said.

"What's so extravagant and wasteful? I paid half of the booking fee. If we didn't go, not only would they not have lost anything, but they would have made a lot of money. I can guarantee that such a good thing would happen every day."

"Okay, okay, you are a capitalist, I can't speak to you." Tang Qian went back to check Taylor Swift's personal information. As a top European and American singer who became famous in 2006, she was already sixteen or seventeen years old.

She made a lot of money. And Tang Qian still vaguely remembered that it seemed that in 2012, the woman sitting next to him topped the list of Forbes' youngest richest people, beating Justin Bieber and LeBron James.

Hana. Think about yourself, you are 18 years old, you have accomplished nothing, and the money you make every year is not even a fraction of what others make, so what qualifications do you have to criticize others?

"Capitalist? By the way, you are Chinese and China is a socialist country. No wonder you say this word." Taylor Swift turned around and asked: "Have you made your choice? A few pieces of torn paper

Is it necessary to watch it for so long?"

"Uh, wait a minute, you're driving too swaying, I can't see clearly."

"You are so troublesome!" Taylor Swift complained, but still slowed down the car.

Tang Qian looked at the leaflet in his hand and secretly cursed in his heart:

They say you are a little queen of country music and an American sweet girl. How did you get in touch with such a "ladies man"? Oh, I really can't believe the media propaganda!

“Gottsui? Japanese Okonomiyaki? Japanese food?”

&.Korean.BBQ?Korean BBQ?Korean food?”

Tang Qian had just finished reading two of them and immediately asked: "Taylor, do you usually eat this kind of thing?"

"No, but I am the host. When I treat you to a meal, of course I have to take care of your taste." Taylor Swift replied.

"Let me tell you, why do you like to eat this?"

"What? You don't even like it? This is the Oriental restaurant I Googled specifically." Seeing Tang Qian's face, Taylor quickly responded.

"Thank you, thank you for taking so much trouble, but I am Chinese, not Korean or Japanese." Tang Qian said with a wry smile.

"Ah? Isn't China in the East?" Taylor Swift said in surprise.

"China is in the East, but we Chinese all eat Chinese food and rarely eat Japanese or Korean food." Tang Qian knew that Taylor had put a lot of thought into it, so he was extra patient when explaining.

"Ah? I didn't know there was such a thing, damn it!" Taylor Swift discovered her "mistake" and said with a very annoyed expression.

"It's all my fault to that little girl Hannah, she was the one who told me that these oriental dishes taste very good! See if I don't take care of her when I get back!!!"

Looking at Taylor Swift's angry expression, Tang Qian couldn't help but smile: "Don't blame her. What she said is correct, but there is still a big difference between Oriental food and Chinese food."

"Don, I noticed that you seem to be very protective of Hannah? What, have you fallen in love with her?" Taylor seemed to have remembered something, and stepped on the accelerator with his right foot.

"What? No, it's nothing. I only have basketball in my mind. I won't think about this male-female matter for the time being." Tang Qian was knocked backwards and said immediately.

"Really? That's more like it! You have to know that as my personal assistant, you are not allowed to fall in love privately. If you find out, you will be fired immediately. There is no room for negotiation." Taylor Swift said with a serious face.

"Well, well, I understand." Tang Qian didn't know how to reply to this sentence, so he could only nod his head blankly.

Seeing Tang Qian's good attitude, Taylor's speed also slowed down, but the next second, she frowned and said, "Then what should I do? You don't like it, where should we go to eat?"

"I'm fine with that, as long as I don't eat Korean or Japanese food, just go to the places you usually go." Tang Qian said.

"That can only be like this, Tang, it's all my fault, my understanding of Chinese culture is too shallow."

Tang Qian listened and laughed out loud: "Actually, let alone you as an American, even I, a Chinese, can't understand Chinese culture."

"Really? Don't lie to me!"

"Really, I absolutely did not lie to you, beautiful lady."

"Okay then, let's go to Outback Steakhouse. The steaks at that restaurant are very good. I usually don't dare to go there."

"Don't you dare to go more? Why?" Tang Qian asked, "Is it because the things inside are particularly expensive?"

"That's not true." Taylor Swift shook her head and said, "The main thing is that the food in it is so delicious. I'm afraid that I will gain weight if I eat too much, which will affect my figure."

"Well, that's true. It's not easy for you to be a star." Tang Qian was stunned for a moment and nodded.

"But it doesn't matter today. It's Christmas Eve. It doesn't matter if you indulge yourself occasionally." Taylor Swift smiled and said.

"Okay, I'll listen to you then." Tang Qian said and felt "greedy" in his stomach. He has been in the United States for so long and has never tasted an authentic American meal. Last time he went there

Although there was a lot of food at the private party at the American Music Festival, most of it was light food. Moreover, Tang Qian basically didn't eat much during the whole show and spent most of his time and energy on it.

On talking and speaking.

So Tang Qian still has high expectations for this Outback.Steakhouse restaurant.

It was obvious that Taylor Swift was not lying. The people here were indeed very familiar with her. As soon as they saw her coming, they immediately ushered her in through the back door. It was obvious that the confidentiality measures in this restaurant were quite complete.

Los Angeles is called the City of Angels, and it’s not for nothing.

"How's it going, Don? Isn't the environment here pretty good?" Taylor said somewhat showily.

"Well, it's very good, but there are only two of us, so being in the VIP room is a bit..." Before Tang Qian finished speaking, Taylor Swift said with a smile: "Unless you want to make entertainment headlines tomorrow, you still have to

Put away your Eastern frugality."

"Uh, this, that's true." Tang Qian thought about Taylor Swift's identity and couldn't help but nodded and smiled bitterly.

"Miss Swift, are you doing as usual?" the well-proportioned male waiter asked Taylor respectfully.

"Well, that's right, but the steak may need to be a little cooked, because my friend is an Oriental." Taylor said familiarly.

"No problem. Orientals often come to our restaurant to dine. May I ask this gentleman, are you Japanese, Korean, or Chinese?"

"Chinese." Tang Qian said, but thought to himself: The division of labor in this restaurant is so detailed. It seems that Taylor has really good taste.
