Chapter 39 Refuge in the Temple of Confucius(1/2)

Chapter 39: The Confucius Temple Refuges

Jiang Peng looked at Zhou Chen's face and said lightly: "I have a boat, right at the door."

Zhou Chen's face suddenly became exciting.

"If you don't believe it, you can go out the window and take a look." Jiang Peng pointed to the direction of the window and whispered.

Zhou Chen immediately closed the people, and about a minute later, the door was opened again.

"Wait."

After Zhou Chen finished speaking, he closed the door again.

Jiang Peng listened to the sound of knocking on the door and rustling sounds in the house.

It should be the sound of Uncle Le getting up.

After a while, the door was opened again.

"Xiao Jiang, it's you." Uncle Le rubbed his eyes and had already put on his clothes. Looking at Jiang Peng outside the house, he continued, "I didn't expect that the rain was so heavy, and after sleeping for a while, it flooded the second floor."

"Uncle Le, please put on your clothes quickly and follow me. I have a boat, let's go to a safe place." Jiang Peng said anxiously.

"Okay, okay, I'm really troubled you." Uncle Le nodded, took only an umbrella and left the door.

"Xiaochen, hurry up." Uncle Le shouted into the house.

"Stop urging me, right away." Zhou Chen's impatient voice came from the room.

After waiting for another five minutes, Zhou Chen finally changed his clothes and walked out, but he was still carrying a big bag in his hand.

Jiang Peng's brows immediately frowned.

"Xiaochen, when did you still have a backpack?" Uncle Le was also a little dissatisfied, but Zhou Chen's face was quite natural and he had no sense of shame at all.

"The bag is not big, let's go."

Uncle Le shook his head and looked at Jiang Peng apologetically.

If it weren't for Uncle Le's sake, Jiang Peng wouldn't have looked at Zhou Chen in person.

Holding back the anger, Jiang Peng took Zhou Chen and Uncle Le back to the second floor.

The water has flooded to the second floor and is close to the calf. Jiang Peng's hiking boots have high heels and waterproof, so there is no feeling.

However, Zhou Chen and Uncle Le both came to the window with water.

"Brother Peng, you're finally here." Pan Da outside the window breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Jiang Peng coming.

"Let Uncle Le get on the boat first."

Looking at Zhou Chen who was about to take the lead, Jiang Peng suddenly blocked him and asked Uncle Panda to get on the speedboat first.

Zhou Chen looked at Jiang Peng with resentment and snorted.

After Uncle Le got on the boat, Zhou Chen threw his bag onto the speedboat first, then jumped up, and the speedboat immediately shook violently.

"Can you be gentle?" Pan Da quickly stood firm and saw the handbag thrown by Zhou Chen, he knew that there was something wrong with this person.

"I know, I know." Zhou Chen waved his hand, glanced at the people on the speedboat, and immediately saw Jiang Yitong and Jiang Xiaohu. He recognized Jiang Yitong.

After snorting, Zhou Chen held his handbag, found a corner, opened his umbrella and sat down.

"Brother Peng, come on, be careful." Panda stretched out his hand and pulled Jiang Peng to the speedboat, started the engine, and the roar sounded.

With Zhou Chen and Uncle Le added, the speedboat suddenly became a little crowded.

Panda was operating the speedboat and was about to say something.

A loud noise suddenly came from my ears.

A bungalow not far away collapsed, and the broken bricks and tiles and furniture flowed downstream, were engulfed by the surging river water, and soon disappeared from everyone's sight.

Everyone's faces changed, and there were already houses that could not bear it.

"Hurry, go quickly." Zhou Chen's mouth trembled a little, and a house turned into rubble in front of him. This impact made him feel a little unacceptable.

Turning his head and looking at the room beside him, Zhou Chen suddenly felt cold sweat.

"Wait a minute, I promised Mrs. Chen to pick her up, Panda, drive forward a little, not far away."

The rain flowed down Jiang Peng's hat, and his eyes were firm and unquestionable.

"You, are you crazy?" Zhou Chen held the bag and shouted with a pale face: "You didn't see that you already have a room

Has the son been washed away? If he doesn't leave, will he stay here and wait for death?"

Jiang Peng glanced at Zhou Chen, ignored him, and shouted at Panda: "Panda, drive the boat, I'll give you the way."

Panda grinned and said, "Received, Brother Peng!"

Zhou Chen wanted to say something, but Uncle Le was stopped.

"Xiaochen, everyone is a neighbor. When you encounter such a thing, you have to help each other no matter what you say."

Zhou Chen glanced at Uncle Le, then looked at Jiang Peng, snorted, turned his head to the other side, and muttered in a low voice.

"Sooner or later I will be killed by him."

Panda drove the speedboat and headed towards Jiang Peng's discovery.

The water flow was very fast, and there were so many people on the speedboat, so the speed was much slower than before.

Jiang Peng controlled the headlights of the speedboat, turned on and off rhythmically, and shouted loudly: "Mrs. Chen, Mrs. Chen!"

Soon, a response came from the house on the other side.

It was the light of the flashlight, accompanied by Mrs. Chen's voice, which was so clear in the sound of heavy rain.

"Xiao Jiang, is it you?"

Jiang Peng patted Panda on the shoulder, pointed at the other side and said, "Panda, have you seen the light over there? Drive there."

Panda nodded, and the horsepower was fully activated, and the engine rushed straight towards him with a violent roar.

"Mrs. Chen!" The river water had flooded one-third of the second floor, and the speedboat was parked on the second floor of Mrs. Chen's clinic.

"Brother Peng, hurry up, the water flow is too strong." In the wind and rain, the speedboat kept shaking, and there was a danger of being washed away at any time.

"Xiao Jiang! You're here." The window opened and Mrs. Chen's figure poked out from the window.

"Mrs. Chen, hurry up, get on the boat." Jiang Peng stretched out his hand and wanted to pull Mrs. Chen over.

Mrs. Chen wanted to turn it out of the window, but the window was a little small and Mrs. Chen was a little fat. In addition, the water had spread to the knee and could not exert force. Mrs. Chen could not turn it out.

"Mrs. Chen, please get out of the way." This is not a solution, Jiang Peng shouted at Mrs. Chen.

Seeing Mrs. Chen move out of the way, Jiang Peng picked up the harpoon from the speedboat and knocked it hard on the window on the second floor of Mrs. Chen's house.

"Bang." "Bang bang." After knocking three or four times, the glass finally broke, revealing a wide space.

Jiang Peng put down the harpoon, Fu reached out and grabbed Mrs. Chen, pulled her hard, and pulled Mrs. Chen onto the speedboat.

However, Mrs. Chen fell on the speedboat, causing violent shaking.

Fortunately, Panda was quick-witted and stood on the other end to control the balance, so the speedboat did not capsize.

"Damn!" Zhou Chen shouted, and just as he was about to have an attack, his shoulder was pressed down by Panda.

"Boy, if you compare, I will throw your bag down." Panda whispered.

Zhou Chen glanced at Pan Da and was silent.

"Mrs. Chen, what are you holding in your hand?" Jiang Peng saw that she was holding a big thing in her hand.

"Megaphone speaker?" Jiang Peng's eyes lit up. This was a good thing.

Mrs. Chen said a little apologetically: "I was afraid that you wouldn't hear it just now, so I responded with this thing and brought it out just now."

"Can you lend me some money?" Jiang Peng asked, pointing to the loudspeaker.

"Of course." Mrs. Chen handed over the speaker. "It's useless for me to ask for it now."

Jiang Peng took the speaker. On such a rainy night, it would be much more convenient to have a loudspeaker. After shouting for so long, Jiang Peng's voice became a little hoarse.

"Is there anyone else in the room?" Jiang Peng looked at the dark room and asked.

"It's gone. My husband is in the city center. I contacted him in the afternoon. It should be safer than here." Mrs. Chen nodded.

"Okay, you can find a seat first." Jiang Peng comforted Mrs. Chen and walked to Panda's side.

Before Jiang Peng could speak, Pan Da took the lead and shouted: "Brother Peng, no!"

Jiang Peng asked in confusion: "What's wrong? What's wrong?"

Panda pointed to the speedboat and said, "There are too many people and the boat is too heavy. The oil now cannot support it."

This is also the question Jiang Peng wants to ask.

"Do you know where the safest place is nearest?" Jiang Peng called.

"Of course, the closer we get to the city center, the safer it is, but our ship cannot get there." Panda replied.

Everyone was saved, but Jiang Peng was in trouble again.
