Chapter 55 The biggest doubt
Four people were sitting at a long table. There was food on the table but no one was using their chopsticks. After a week of visits, I finally asked all Zhang Lan’s classmates, but the answers they got were basically the same: I don’t know. I also had class the next day.
Just found out.
"It doesn't matter if two people give the same answer, but nearly 40 people all give the same answer, which is the biggest problem!" Yunxing summarized the interview.
"Yes!" Wu Daoshen nodded in agreement: "I also asked Tan Shuang, but she seemed to want to say something to me but didn't dare to say it."
"Only the school can allow so many students to speak on the same page." Zhang Qi looked at Wu Dao: "Didn't you also find Zhang Lan's best friend? What did she say?"
Wu Dao picked up his chopsticks: "Her answer was similar to Tan Shuang's. The two of them must know something but dare not say it."
"In that case, let's go find them again. I'll go with you!" Yunxing looked at Wu Dao.
"Okay!" Wu Dao nodded.
"Then hurry up and eat. After eating, go back and rest. Tomorrow is Saturday, so they both have a rest!" Yun Xing said and picked up the chopsticks.
Hei Zai looked at Yunxing: "Master, I found a house, I will live downstairs from you!"
Yunxing looked at him doubtfully: "Is it downstairs? The fourth floor?"
Hei Zai smiled and shook his head: "No, it's on the third floor, and the rent is quite cheap!"
Yun Xing and Wu Dao looked at each other and looked at him: "Where did you see this house?"
"It was listed online last night. I made an appointment with the landlord to view the house tomorrow." Hei Zai smiled happily: "Two bedrooms and one living room only cost 800 yuan a month. Isn't it very cheap?"
Yunxing looked at him: "Look at other houses, but don't look at that one!"
"Why?" Hei Zai had disappointment in his eyes.
Wu Dao picked up a piece of vegetables: "There was a death in that house last month. Your master and I investigated the case. If you are not afraid, you can live there."
"What?" Hei Zai's eyes widened in disbelief.
Yun Xing added: "And not just one of them died, her husband died in the living room, and her lover was stuffed in the refrigerator."
Hei Zai shuddered and took out his mobile phone to make a call.
Zhang Qi looked at Yun Xing and Wu Dao: "How much did you two earn from that case?"
Yunxing took a bite of the food: "That one didn't make any money, he just practiced his skills. He only started taking business after checking."
"How many have you picked up?" Zhang Qi picked up a piece of meat and put it in his mouth.
"Including this one, this is the third one." When talking about this Yunxing, he remembered that there was still a lot of money that had not been dealt with, and he didn't know how Lu Qian'er was doing now.
"How much does it cost to be the first one?" Zhang Qi asked.
"You're not short of money. Why are you asking for this?" Yun Xing glanced at her: "Two million, but I didn't ask for it, it was all given to the client."
"What? Two million?" Zhang Qi was stunned.
Hei Zai put down his phone and looked at Yunxing angrily: "Master, I told the landlord that I should look for a house in another community!"
Yunxing nodded: "Okay, look for it near us. The houses in that area shouldn't be expensive."
Zhang Qi closed his mouth and looked at Yun Xing in surprise: "What kind of case do you pay so much money for?"
"The general population is missing!" Yunxing said casually while eating the food.
"Is the customer a rich man?" Zhang Qi continued to ask.
Yunxing was a little impatient when asked, and replied with a frown: "I don't have any money, the case is more complicated. Hurry up and eat, I will be back after I finish, but I won't wait for you!"
Zhang Qi looked at Wu Dao: "Can you tell me?"
"It's quite complicated!" Wu Dao repeated Yunxing's words.
Zhang Qi stared at Wu Dao without saying a word, picked up a chopstick and put the dish into Wu Dao's bowl: "Eat, eat quickly!" He picked up another chopstick and put it into the bowl.
Wu Dao was stunned and looked at her: "Thank you!"
Yun Xingbai glared at her.
Hei Zai looked at the two of them and laughed.
The sun lay lazily in the blue sky, and the burning yellow leaves jumped off the branches to find shelter. A wisp of breeze happened to pass by, so the leaves jumped into the wind and ran away happily.
A black car parked on the street. The man in the car covered his eyes with a mask and dozed off with his arms folded. The other girl lay on the steering wheel and looked at the dance studio opposite. She got up and put down the sun visor and leaned on the back of the chair.
He turned to look at the young man beside him, raised his hand and patted the other man's arm: "Watch carefully, why are you sleeping?"
Wu Dao's face turned to the other side: "Aren't you watching?"
"My eyes hurt from staring, just stare for a while!" Yun Xing angrily pulled his arm.
"Hey", Wu Dao pulled down his mask and looked towards the dance studio with squinted eyes: "Watching it before get out of class is over is for nothing."
Yunxing glared at him angrily: "What does it mean to watch in vain? What if I take a break midway?"
"How is that possible? The class has only been in charge for one and a half hours. If I take a break in the middle, it would be too bad to earn money, right?" Wu Dao frowned. As soon as he finished speaking, he saw a girl in dance clothes standing at the window.
Meanwhile, others also stopped training.
"Call her out?" Yunxing looked at the girl by the window.
"I know!" Wu Dao opened the car door and got out of the car, waving to the girl. She was Zhang Lan's best friend Liu Xiaolin. The two of them did not attend the same school but both learned to dance in this dance studio.
Liu Xiaolin turned around and looked behind her, then quickly walked towards the door after hesitating.
Wu Dao stood in front of her: "Sorry for delaying your dance practice."
Liu Xiaolin pointed to the car: "Go and talk in the car!" After saying that, she quickly walked down the steps.
Wu Dao unconsciously raised the corners of his mouth, feeling that this time was not in vain.
Yunxing smiled and looked at Liu Xiaolin who opened the car door and introduced herself: "Hello, I am his colleague."
Liu Xiaolin nodded and got into the car: "We only rested for ten minutes in the middle. Let's keep the story short."
Wu Dao closed the car door: "Okay, I hope you can tell us what you know. Don't worry, what I said to you last time will definitely stand and no one will doubt you."
Liu Xiaolin looked at Wu Dao: "Someone already knows that you are here, so you have to protect me in the future!"
Yun Xing looked at Liu Xiaolin suspiciously: "You mean Zhang Lan's death has something to do with this studio?"
Liu Xiaolin shook her head: "No, it has something to do with the people dancing here!"
Wu Dao and Yun Xing looked at her without speaking, waiting for her to continue.
She looked at the studio: "Since Xiaolan's death, a dance teacher has come here. She once came to me privately and asked me if Xiaolan said anything to me before jumping off the building."
Wu Dao glanced into the studio: "Is this the teacher who teaches you dance now?"
Liu Xiaolin nodded: "Yes, she came to me more than once, induced and threatened me, but I didn't say anything."
Yunxing looked at her and assured: "Don't worry, we will follow you from now on until the murderer is brought to justice."
