There are three types of court meetings in Daliang.

In the true sense, the Great Court Meeting is held on the Zhengdan day, which means "spring meeting is called Chao, summer meeting is called Zong, autumn meeting is called Hao, and winter meeting is called Yu". The meeting of the Great Court is held once a year, with extremely high standards, and books need to be displayed.

Ceremonial guards and great music were set up to inspect the officials. The civil and military officials stood up according to their ranks, and the officials from the thirteen prefectures came to present the official objects. When the time came, the emperor ascended the throne, the drums and music sounded, and all the officials knelt down to worship.

Congratulations and etiquette.

There is a court meeting on the first and fifteenth days of each month on the first and fifteenth day of each month. There is a regular court meeting every day. At the beginning of the month, the emperor will summon his ministers to discuss state affairs.

In comparison, the Great Court Meeting held on Zhengdan Day is more of a ritual celebration, while the latter two are of a daily official nature.

The difference between the Shuowang Dynasty meeting and the Chang Dynasty meeting lies in the number of participants. Emperor Gaozu once said, "All the civil and military officials in Beijing who are in the ninth rank or above will watch the imperial court at Shuo Wang; those who are in the civil and military officials in the capital and above are in the fifth rank and supervising censors, they will attend the court every day." That is, those in the eighth rank and above

Officials can all participate in the Shuo Wang Dynasty Meeting, and the lowest grade of officials participating in the Chang Dynasty is the fourth grade.

The Great Court Meeting and the Shuowang Court Meeting must be held, but the daily court meeting is relatively free and is decided by the emperor. Emperor Kaiping has been very diligent since he came to the throne. Even so, he will take five or six days off from court every month to give time to important ministers, especially older ministers.

Time to rest and relax.

The court meeting was held in the Chengtian Hall in the imperial city. The main hall here was spacious and bright, enough to accommodate thousands of people. The buildings in the hall were cleverly designed by craftsmen and had a sound-focusing effect, so the emperor's words could easily reach the ears of the officials.

The imperial meeting held on October 29th in the third year of Kaiping was a high-level imperial meeting that Emperor Kaiping decided to convene at short notice.

The court meeting begins at the first quarter of Mao Shi (5 a.m.), and Kyoto officials need to go to the imperial city at the first quarter of Yin Shi (3 a.m.) and wait in the square in front of the palace after entering Chengtian Gate.

Pei Yue probably only slept for more than three hours. When he opened his eyes, Deng Zai was waiting outside.

He seemed quite calm, but the teenagers had been up almost all night, with uncontrollable excited smiles on their faces.

After washing up and eating a bowl of hot noodles, Pei Yue came to the atrium wearing a clean and decent moon-white robe. Today he combed his hair, tied it at the top, tied it into a bun, and tied it with a jade hairpin.

Although in ancient times, men were required to be crowned when they were twenty years old, this rule has been loosened for thousands of years. In some places, men can be crowned when they are fifteen years old. Pei Yue's age is a bit embarrassing, he was just fourteen years old, and he didn't have time to do it in a hurry.

If you are formal or crowned, you can only dress up in this way.

People rely on their clothes, as if they rely on gold. Pei Yue's outfit is enough to make people shine. The thin and frail appearance he had at the beginning has disappeared, and now he is like a handsome young man.

Four tall men with sharp eyes stood in the atrium. They were Gu Liang's soldiers and came specially to escort Pei Yue to the court.

Ye Qi came to Pei Yue and reached out to help him straighten the wrinkles on his clothes. His eyes were as bright and soft as stars.

Everyone else turned around when they saw this.

Pei Yue looked at her with a smile.

Compared with usual, Ye Qi looked calm and acted naturally. Such a slightly intimate action did not make her feel shy, and everything seemed to fall into place. After taking back her white hands, she said softly: "I will wait here for you to come back."

She had said this sentence once before, but this time Pei Yue faintly heard something different. He nodded and said, "I will deal with it carefully."

"Just go."

"good."

At the door of the store, Pei Yue mounted his horse and galloped away, escorted by four brave soldiers.

Although there are only five horses, there are thousands of horses that can roll up the mountain.

Ye Qi stood outside the door. Next to her were Deng Zai and other young men. Everyone's eyes were fixed on Pei Yue's gradually blurring back in the night.

After leaving the west city, Pei Yue turned to the north and slowed down his horse. Although he still didn't understand many rules, he would not make such a low-level mistake, not to mention that there were soldiers from Guliang along the way to remind Yue.

As we approached the palace city, we met more and more officials on the road, countless of them on horseback and in sedan chairs.

Arriving outside the palace, everyone dismounted, and Pei Yue successfully passed the inspection by the imperial army with the warrant sent by the palace supervisor yesterday.

He walked through the six-foot-long doorway of Chengtian Gate alone, while the soldiers sent by Gu Liang stayed outside the palace and waited.

When we arrived at the square in front of the palace, there were already many officials gathered here, with pine oil torches burning around them. We could barely see the scene in front of us clearly. It was still more than half an hour before the court meeting started, and many important figures had not yet arrived.

Most of the waiting officials are of lower rank. After all, today's standards are equivalent to the Shuowang Court Meeting, and officials of ninth rank and above are eligible to participate.

People were divided into groups, and officials in twos and threes gathered together to chat in low voices. Most of the topics focused on the bandits who had been harming the outskirts of Kyoto for half a year. Pei Yue's appearance was very noticeable. After all, he was an official regardless of his rank. Like him

It's hard to ignore such a white body, not to mention that he looks very young.

Pei Yue stood on the edge of the square and let these scrutinizing eyes look at him without any inappropriate or panic reaction.

For him, he has seen too many scenes like this. In his previous life, when a company staff meeting was held, he was not talking in front of thousands of people. Although these people have different identities now, under the cover of the night, Pei Yue still

Don't lose your composure.

He just felt the whispers were slightly noisy.

After a while, he noticed that the square suddenly became quiet. He turned around and saw a middle-aged official with a long beard striding towards him.

When the man passed by him, he suddenly stopped, looked at him from head to toe, and asked, "Are you Pei Yue?"

Pei Yue cupped his hands and said, "This junior is Pei Yue. What do you call me?"

This man's expression seemed gentle, but his eyes made him slightly uncomfortable. In the words of his previous life, they were too aggressive, as if he wanted to get into his mind and see through him.

The middle-aged official did not answer Pei Yue's question, but simply said: "It seems that you are more suitable to take the imperial examination."

These words made Pei Yue a little confused.

What does it mean to look suitable for the imperial examination? Do I have the face of a No. 1 scholar?

This person could silence the surrounding officials, and act and speak so wildly. Pei Yue thought about it for a moment, and a name came to his mind, so he replied with neither humility nor arrogance: "Your Majesty, the ruler of the country, is ridiculous."

The middle-aged official is Luo Ting, the right-hand governor of the Dongfu. He is forty-two years old this year. He can be said to be in the prime of life and has a bright future. If there are no major changes, after Mo Haoli retires and returns to his hometown, he will be the head of the officials in Daliang.

He has a tough and direct personality, so it is no wonder that most of the officials in the square became very well-behaved after seeing him.

The rest of the nobles looked normal, but that was all. No noble would go crazy and provoke the right-wing governor who was highly regarded by Emperor Kaiping.

Luo Ting looked at Pei Yue's calm face, smiled softly and said: "You are very smart and you are still young. Do you want to try to take the imperial examination?"

Pei Yue was a little unhappy. I pretended to be a noble son. Isn't it inappropriate for you to tease me like this? Of course, he was just thinking about it. In such an occasion where hundreds of officials were watching, he was not stupid enough to do something like this.

What harsh words should be said in front of the government leader?
