Chapter 3 The Imperial Marshal

That orc was different from the orcs Jiang Tang had seen so far.

His figure was upright, and he had the tough temperament unique to a military soldier.

Wearing a black military uniform, his shoulders are dotted with silver epaulettes that can only be worn by the Imperial Marshal.

A head of slightly long black hair accidentally slipped out of the military cap, and it was unexpectedly gentle.

He raised his eyes and met Jiang Tang's eyes coincidentally, feeling a subtle atmosphere between them.

He came to Jiang Tang in three steps and two steps at a time, looking at Jiang Tang who was like a little cub, with a smile as carefully calculated as a ruler on his friendly-looking face.

As soon as Su Ze saw the orc, he stood up straight, gave a military salute, and his face became serious: "Report to the marshal, ruin number A0012, found humans, now hand over to the First Legion of the Empire."

Jiang Tang seemed to understand something, and consciously walked to the side of the orc, remaining silent.

The orc smiled and nodded, returning the military salute: "Well done Ruin a0012, may the glory of the empire be with you."

Su Ze looked at their figures walking further and further away, and shook his head in confusion.

Su Ze: "Strange, why do I feel like she looks so similar to Marshal Wei Ye?"

After saying that, he laughed at himself: "How is it possible? They are obviously not similar at all."

One is delicate and weak, the other is tough and strong.

They are obviously completely unrelated, yet they seem to blend into each other.

Jiang Tang sat silently on this dark blue warship.

She looked quietly at the universe outside the window, her amber eyes reflecting the magnificent universe.

It is the blending of stars and the Milky Way, and the beautiful rose nebula blooms in the darkness, which is a rose that will never wither.

An independent life like human beings is so insignificant that it will become extinct without warning and disappear into the dazzling Milky Way.

Jiang Tang lowered her head and half-closed her eyelids. Until now, she still had no sense of reality in her heart.

From birth to now, she has lived like a puppet on strings.

The meaning of her birth is to contribute to the study of human life. She is an experimental subject and does not need emotions or her own thoughts.

She has read many books, but has never measured the earth with her feet.

Unexpectedly, the day I woke up would be the longest road I had walked.

Thinking of this, Jiang Tang kicked his feet and raised a slightly stiff smile at the corner of his mouth.

Very happy.

She is finally free.

Jiang Tang followed Wei Ye off the warship. This place was even more different from the ruined city of ten thousand races.

If the ruins of Ten Thousand Races can still vaguely glimpse those backward civilizations, then there is no trace of filth here.

Even though he was wearing a military uniform, Wei Ye looked polite. He nodded slightly at Jiang Tang, then looked down at the land beneath him, and said, "Welcome to the main star of the empire."

"This is where you will live for the rest of your life."

Jiang Tang's movement of lifting his foot down paused for a moment, and then walked down as if nothing had happened.

The breeze blew through the hem of her skirt, causing ripples and waves, disturbing the peace.

The smile at the corner of Jiang Tang's mouth suddenly disappeared. He looked quite peaceful, but there was a sneer in his heart.

Where to live next...

Oh, isn't this a different kind of imprisonment?

Jiang Tang calmly lowered his eyes and hid all his thoughts.

She has already survived in the future, how can she live in peace with her husband?

The freedom she wanted was clearly within reach.

But it doesn't matter, she will wait quietly and wait until the time is right before leaving here.

The stars and the sea will fall into my arms.

Unbeknownst to Jiang Tang, she had already become famous in the Imperial Public Star Network.

This kind of news always spreads quickly, and citizens of the empire left messages on the Star Network one after another, and even discussed it under the official empire account.

[I don’t want to get up today: I want to see pictures of humans! I heard that ancient humans were very good-looking!]

[Vegetable flavored nutrient solution is the worst to drink: I heard that they are just like skinny monkeys, very ugly. Do you have any photos? I want to confirm. 】

[Monkeys are the cutest: The dangerous beast upstairs assaulted me. I reported it and actually started a fight. The monkey beast is so cute. Tsk, I really don’t know how to appreciate it.]

[Living in the Marshal’s Pear Vortex: Photos of the Marshal’s single orc are also rare. I want to see the Marshal!]

[I want to have wings: This is the only human being in the galaxy, the most precious one!]

[Three pounds of fat in a bowl: There’s no need to praise human beings so highly, right? He (she) has created no value. 】

[Want to have wings: The existence of human beings is the wealth of the interstellar world. Whether it is in terms of species diversity or genes, humans are indispensable. 】

However, these words did not affect Jiang Tang, and they will not reach her ears yet.

She looked at the world in front of her that only existed in fantasy back then, and her eyes gradually became brighter.

They walked into the research institute. The place was just as Jiang Tang remembered it, with everything still white.

Wei Ye even set out to look at Jiang Tang and found that she still had the same indifferent attitude. He felt that she seemed too fearless.

I don’t know if he is just pretending or if he is really not afraid of death.

The institute, imperial officials, and the Institute of Rare Species decided Jiang Tang's next fate in a very short period of time.

Although citizens in the interstellar world are well adapted to the interstellar environment, they have strong bodies and evolved strong mental powers, so they should be invincible.

But after any race reaches overwhelming combat power, it will be accompanied by inevitable flaws.

What the orcs have to face is genetic disease.

The reason for the genetic disease is that the genetic stability of the orcs is extremely low. The higher the mental power of the orcs, the easier it is for their genes to collapse. In the later stages, the orcs will completely turn into beasts and swing their claws at their compatriots.

And mental power has become an inseparable and necessary ability for daily life in the interstellar world. In other words, they are rushing towards death while they are alive.

During the long research process, the orcs also thought of many ways, and finally they discovered that only "human" genes in the entire universe are the mildest and most stable.

As long as they establish an intimate relationship with human life, their genetic diseases will be alleviated and they can peacefully end their lives.

But what disappointed the orcs was that after the Blue Star disappeared, humans disappeared into the stars.

No orc knows where they have gone, or whether they are dead or alive.

Now that they have found Jiang Tang, they have found new hope.

Of course they couldn't waste this opportunity.

Jiang Tang was sitting on a chair that was obviously much larger than her. Her petite figure was deeply sunken into it, as if she was surrounded by chairs.

Next to her sat Wei Ye with a gentle smile, which seemed to protect and imprison him at the same time.

The director of the institute frowned deeper and deeper as he looked at the physical examination report on Jiang Tang in his hand.

The goat ears on his head flicked, as if he was a little irritable: "Malnutrition, delayed growth, weak body, and an F-level constitution."

"Isn't this just like glass? Tsk, how can you live so big?" The director of the institute was a little surprised, and then continued to read, mumbling, "Mental power, spiritual power..."

"s?" His voice was a little sharp due to extreme surprise.

He glanced at the human being with the old god, and then looked down at the intelligence information in his hand.

Name: Jiang Tang

Age: 18 (minor)

Mental power:s

Physical fitness:f

Jiang Tang didn't pay attention to the old dean's state. Instead, she looked at Wei Ye beside her.

The smile on his lips did not change, as if he had known it for a long time.
