Chapter 68 Extra Story: The Adventures of Teenagers 21 Fever

Roger has no concept of time now. He feels that he has been drifting for a long, long time, maybe a century.

He heard Ola declare: "**, here we are, Ruggiero, let's go up and I will support you, can you walk?**, please, you are as heavy as a dead pig."

Roger was dragged and pulled up to a rocky beach by Aura.

He lay there like a corpse.

Aura asked him: "Ruggiero, how do you feel? Can you move around?"

Roger was dizzy. He just wanted to sleep. He was not happy to answer Aura's questions.

"*, I know what to do," Roger listened to Ola muttering to herself, "I have to make a fire, oh no, fucker, I have to dry you first, it won't work if you're wet like this.

"

Roger felt that Ola was taking off his clothes.

"Come on, Ruggiero, cooperate."

Roger felt like he was being stripped naked. When he opened his dim eyes, he saw that Ola was still dripping with water, but she just wringed out his blouse, and then used it as a rag to wipe his whole body dry.

"Okay, you ** rest here for a while, I'll get some food."

Aura was talking purely to herself, and she turned and ran away.

Roger's naked body was basking on the stone slab, like a fish waiting to be dried.

The afternoon sun was a bit strong, burning his exposed skin. He didn't sweat, but the pores all over his body seemed to have relaxed a bit, no longer shrinking into small pimples and shaking from time to time.

He felt comfortable, he was drowsy, maybe he fell asleep for a while, or maybe not, he didn't know.

When Roger felt that he was about to turn into a piece of dried fish, Aura came back and brought back some fruits. She helped Roger sit up and fed him.

Roger didn't know what kind of fruit it was. His mouth was so bland that everything he bit felt like chewing wax. His throat was as dry as a desert full of gravel, and he couldn't swallow it.

He croaked, "Water."

"Wait a minute, I'll get some clean water."

Roger didn't notice Aura leave, nor did he notice she came back.

His lips touched a broad leaf, and then water poured into his throat. He drank and slurped happily, not letting go of a drop of water, just like a baby sucking its mother's vagina.

Roger felt that he had a little strength now. Although his whole body was still sore and his head was swollen, as if he had been beaten up in a sack, he had finally evolved from a mollusk to a reptile.

Aura put the smock on him and said, "We have to go, we can't spend the night in this bloody place."

Roger felt that his blouse was basically dry, but when he touched Aura, he felt that the clothes on her body were just wringed out, but were still damp.

Roger stumbled and was supported by Ola.

He didn't look at the road or where he was going. He stumbled and fell several times along the way.

Ola always said: "*, can you just watch the road?"

She picked him up again and again and continued to help him walk.

"We have to hurry up. It's getting dark. It's getting dark, and I can't make a fire."

Aura urged, but Roger couldn't control the speed at all. He didn't know how long he kept walking like this. He thought maybe crawling would be faster.

"*, we're finally here, we can camp here."

Aura gently helped Roger lie down.

Roger didn't care where Aura put him, he just collapsed there, motionless, like a salted fish.

Later he felt the warmth of the fire and fell into a deep sleep.

The next day, Roger's brain was always groggy. Sometimes he would feel better and his hands and feet would feel a little stronger.

Better, over and over again.

So Ola sometimes helped him walk, sometimes dragged him, and sometimes carried him on her back.

She would complain: "You are as heavy as a pig."

She would be frustrated: "When will we be able to walk to town like this?"

But in the end she always persisted and refused to give up.

Roger heard her murmuring to herself: "Come on, we are almost reaching the town. You will get better when you get to the town. There is food and doctors there."

Roger was very happy and his steps became more brisk.

"When the doctor lets you bleed, you'll be fine."

Roger fell down. He struggled a few times and couldn't get up. He felt like a waste and was angry with himself.

He said hoarsely: "Go away and let me die here."

"*, I** won't watch you die. Since I brought you out, I won't watch you die in front of my eyes."

Aura struggled to pull Roger up, but Roger lost his temper and refused to leave, so she carried him on her back. When she couldn't walk anymore, she stopped to rest.

By this time Roger's anger had subsided, and he said regretfully: "I'm sorry."

Aura gasped: "Can you go?"

So Ola helped him walk again, until Roger fell again, and then he gave up on himself and lost his temper, then Ola carried him on her back again, and then Roger blamed himself again, over and over again.

Until they reached the town.

But can't get in.

"Go away!"

"Why won't *** let us in?"

"Just leave when I tell you. Tramps are not welcome in this town."

Roger looked at himself and Aura. The blouses they were wearing had long been torn apart by the branches and sharp rocks along the way. They were mixed with mud and dust, barely covering their bodies covered with dirt, bruises and blood scabs.

, even beggars are more respectable than them.

"We are not homeless people. I know people. I know the aunt at the inn."

"It doesn't matter who you know. If you don't leave, I'll give you something to show you."

The guards waved crude wooden guns in threats.

Roger thought, if my hands and feet are not weak now, give me a sword and I will pick you two.

Aura instead begged: "Okay, let us go in, my companion is sick."

A guard explained helplessly: "It's not that we don't want to, the mayor said that there are important people in the town, and vagrants like you are not allowed to enter. He said it is an obstruction, but what is it?"

"It's an eyesore," another guard added.

"Yes, it will hinder the viewing of the battle, so you have to leave. You are not allowed to go in. Don't make it difficult for us."

Aura begged repeatedly, but the two guards refused to agree, so Aura had no choice.

She had no choice but to help Roger and go to a tree near the entrance of the town. She asked Roger to sit down and leaned against the trunk of the tree. The shade of the tree covered Roger's face.

Aura said to Roger: "You wait here for a while, I know there is a hole you can go in. But it is too small, I can't drag you in. Just wait, I will get you something to eat."

Come."

Roger's head was very hot, but his body was shivering. His hands and feet were weak and he had no strength at all. His throat was hoarse and he couldn't talk to Aura.

Aura didn't wait for his answer, she turned and left.

I don't know how much time passed, but Roger was in a state of confusion as if he was about to die. He knew that it was time to reach the peak of his fever.
