Chapter 13 Three Rules

When Xuanli woke up, it was just dawn outside. She lifted the quilt and got out of bed, looked down at the bandaged wound, and was slightly startled.

The palms of her hands were also wrapped with several circles of bandages, and the knotted areas were tied with a small bow like a mischief.

Looking at her pale face in the mirror, Xuanli lowered her eyes quietly, avoided the wound and washed herself again.

There were not many seasonal clothes in the suitcase. She took a long-sleeved shirt with a printed collar and an extra cardigan sweater. In order to allow the knee wound to breathe, she wore a beige pleated skirt.

.

Xuanli looked at the rabbit satchel on the table and then remembered that the gold card had not been returned to Jiang Cheng.

She limped with her right foot and opened the door, just in time to meet Jiang Cheng who was going out.

"Are you going back to school?"

He said "Yeah" and his eyes fell on her hand hanging by her side, "Does the wound still hurt?"

Xuanli was actually very afraid of pain, but she would never say that she was in pain. She shook her head gently, "It doesn't hurt."

"By the way, your card."

She walked towards him with a slightly difficult pace, wanting to return the card to him.

As soon as he took a step forward, Jiang Cheng walked over and said, "You don't have to pay me back. This is my meeting gift to send you back to the courtyard."

He paused and said, "Brother Xuanzhu is no longer here, so it's your duty to take care of you for him, so just keep it."

When Xuan Zhu's name was mentioned, Xuan Li lowered her eyes, covering the emotions in her eyes, and responded in a low voice.

Jiang Cheng patted her head, "I have to go back to school to do some experiments, and I can't take you to visit Kyoto today."

Xuanli nodded obediently, "Be careful on the road."

After watching him walk out the door, she turned and returned to the room.

The cell phone in my pocket vibrated, and the caller ID showed an unfamiliar number, and the address was Kyoto.

Xuanli hesitated for a while, then pressed the answer button.

"Hi, hello."

When the person opposite heard the sweet voice, he was stunned for a moment before explaining his purpose: "Hello, Miss Xuanli, I am Teacher Xie from the Admissions Office of Kyoto No. 1 Middle School."

She immediately understood that it was Xuan Zhiyuan who had arranged for her to enter the school before, and responded politely: "Hello, Teacher Xie."

Hearing her being so polite, Xie Duan felt good about her, "Mr.

."

Xuanli said slowly: "I have already studied high school textbooks at home, so there will be no problem."

"Okay, then come to the Academic Affairs Office on Monday to go through the enrollment procedures."

"Thank you, teacher."

After she hung up the phone, she breathed a sigh of relief. She was finally going back to school.

Yanyu Town is a place with backward education. The only junior high school in the town does not have many students. Even the teacher has just returned from high school in the city to teach.

Every time Xuanli finished a class, she would go back and read the book again, filling in the parts that were not covered with the blunt knowledge in the class.

Although there is no high school in Yanyu Town, she still went to the county town to take the high school entrance examination. Because there was no place to check her results, and because she was in poor health, she could not stay outside Jiangnan for a long time, so she had to give up studying in high school.

Huo Lishen and his wife also knew about her physical condition and went to the mountains every day to collect medicine to replenish her body. Jiangnan Feng Shui nourished people, and her health gradually improved.

Xuanli was afraid that Xuan Zhiyuan would be worried when he saw her injury, so she just called him and told him that she could go to school the day after tomorrow, using the excuse that she had to study at home, so he didn't think too much about it.

Yu Tingxuan wanted to come to her several times, but Xuan Ran pulled her back by the ears.

Xuan Ran warned him: "You dare to leave the room before you finish your homework? Be careful, I will tell Brother Jiang Cheng!"

As soon as he heard Jiang Cheng's name, he gave up struggling and could only look at Xuan Li who smiled at him.

"Sister Xuanli, I will finish my homework early and come over to play with you!"

Yu Tingxuan wrote hard all afternoon and finished all the homework for nine subjects. He excitedly showed his homework to Xuan Ran for checking.

"Sister Ran, I've finished my homework!"

Xuan Ran frowned after reading it, and then he actually finished writing for him, and then poured out the test papers and homework books that he had stuffed randomly in his schoolbag.

"It's okay, I haven't finished my homework yet."

Yu Tingxuan looked at the small mountain of homework and felt like crying, "Sister Ran, I don't know how to do your senior year homework!"

She obviously didn't believe it, "I heard that you have met the requirements to skip a grade. It is impossible that you don't know high school knowledge."

He had no choice but to continue doing his homework with tears in his eyes under Xuan Ran's gaze.

Xuan Ran was busy staring at Yu Tingxuan and did not find fault with Xuan Li, so she had some free time and read quietly in the room.

On Sunday night, Xuan Ran opened the door and walked in with a bad look on his face. When he saw Xuan Li studying, he couldn't help but feel contempt in his heart.

"Grandpa asked me to take you to school tomorrow, but I have a few points to explain in advance. First, don't say you know me in school. I will ask Uncle Cheng to let you get off at the intersection at the side entrance. You can't tell him that I said it.

.

Second, because I never study in the evening, I didn’t ask Uncle Cheng to pick me up. You can contact him yourself in the evening or find a way to get home.

Third, don’t cause any trouble in school, I don’t have time to care about you. If grandpa or brother Jiang Cheng finds out, I will give you some trouble."

Xuan Ran finished speaking in one breath, and when he saw Xuan Li lowering his eyebrows quietly without any sign of resistance, he felt even more irritated.

"Did you hear that?"

Xuanli raised her face, her eyebrows were calm, and there was even a little smile in her eyes, "I know, cousin."

Xuan Ran always felt that the punch hit a ball of cotton. It was neither painful nor itchy, but a breath stuck in her chest, which was extremely uncomfortable.

She looked even more displeased at Xuan Li and frowned, "Okay, you're not allowed to tell them these three rules. Do you understand?"

Xuanli nodded obediently, "Understood."

Watching Xuan Ran go out angrily, she closed the door that creaked in the wind, sat back at the table, and continued reading.

Xuanli got up at six o'clock the next day and memorized vocabulary for half an hour, but she still didn't wait until Xuanran got up.

She opened the door of the courtyard and saw a black Rolls-Royce parked at the door.

The driver's window rolled down, and a middle-aged man smiled kindly.

"Miss Xuanli, this is the first time we meet. I am Mr. Xuan's driver, Cheng Ming. I am responsible for transporting you and Miss Xuanran to and from school."

Xuanli also smiled politely and said, "Hello, Uncle Cheng."

Cheng Ming smiled and said, "Miss Xuan Ran is probably still sleeping at this time. Can you get in the car first?"

"good."

She opened the back seat door and sat in, holding a booklet of ancient Chinese poetry in her arms.

Cheng Ming looked at Xuan Li through the rearview mirror. She was extremely quiet and didn't make a sound. Her eyebrows were smooth. From this angle, she looked very much like the deceased Yue Yutong.

He sighed softly, it was a pity that the beauty had such a bad life, otherwise he would still be able to see such a polite and sensible third lady.
