Chapter 156 155. Master Wei’s reward

Earth·Gotham

Not wanting to disturb the reunion of the Bat Family, Jero and Donna quietly left Panissa Studios, returned to Gotham City, and sat down in a bar that was not too badly damaged.

After sweeping away the glass shards on the chair, Donna sat on the chair in front of the bar. She leaned on the bar with her elbows and her head on her palms. She looked at Jero who walked straight to the back of the bar with bright eyes and joked:

"It seems that you are very familiar with this kind of thing. Also, you are not of legal drinking age yet, right?"

"I learned some knowledge before." Jero found a few bottles of wine with complete packaging from the counter, put them on the bar, and then asked Donna:

"And I will be twenty years old this year. According to the laws of Delaware, where the metropolitan area is located, I will be free from restrictions."

"But we're still in Gotham right now. This is New Jersey." Donna said playfully.

"Why do you care so much? Will the FBI come to arrest me?" Jero said nonchalantly. After finding a few more ice cubes, he asked Donna:

"What do you want to drink?"

"Beverly Ice Tea, thank you." Donna immediately announced a name.

"A variation of Long Island Iced Tea? I know, but the ingredients here may not be all available."

Jero gave Donna a shot. With Gotham now like this, he might not be able to find enough materials.

"Just do your best."

However, Donna said it didn't matter. After all, this cocktail was just a drink to her, and it was impossible to get drunk.

Then, Jello poured all the ingredients needed for the Beverly Ice Tea except for the champagne into the shaker glass and started shaking it wildly. The shaker glass seemed to turn into a phantom in his hand.

Then add a few ice cubes to a random wine glass, pour the champagne and the liquor shaken in the shaker into it.

But Jero didn't find any lemons, so he had to make do with it.

"Beverly ice tea without lemon slices, please." Pushing the glass of Beverly ice tea in front of Donna, Jero looked very much like a qualified bartender at this moment.

After sipping the Beverly Iced Tea, which was very similar in color to black tea, Donna also began to praise Jero's craftsmanship.

"Not bad, which bar do you plan to go to to bartend in the future?"

"It's just a matter of interest. I've never thought about such a thing." Jero mixed himself a glass of fizz, then shrugged his shoulders and told Donna the reason.

"My parents wanted me to find a decent job, like a scientist or a clerk."

"That's a pity." Donna reluctantly took a sip of the Beverly Ice Tea, looking as if she was a little pitiful that Jero couldn't continue to do this job.

"If you want to drink, just come to me. It's not that difficult. If you have time, I can make you a drink." After taking a sip of the piano, Jero said casually.

Hearing this, Donna arched her eyebrows and said with a smile, "I've been waiting for your words."

"If you say that, I won't help you mix drinks~" Jero looked at Donna and said this deliberately.

"Haha~ Then just pretend I didn't say it." Donna said with a smile.

‘ding dong’

At this time, someone pushed open the door of the bar, and two figures, one red and one blue, appeared at the door. It was Dick and Jason. Dick was holding two small boxes in his hand, and he didn't know what was in them.

It has to be so mysterious.

Seeing this, Jero raised the corner of his mouth slightly and said to Dick and Jason:

"What do you two guests want to drink?"

"A glass of 'Tequila Sunrise' with ice." Dick Grayson, who was still wearing combat uniform, said to Jero, and Jason who was following him also said what he wanted to drink.

"A glass of Matador with ice."

"Matador and Tequila Sunrise? Coming soon."

Hearing this, Jero found the ingredients at the counter, but the ingredients were a bit incomplete. Although they were mixed, the taste was a bit strange.

Looking away at Jason, who was still hunched over, Donna asked while drinking, "Have you reconciled with your family?"

"Not yet." Jason spoke, but his tone was a little low, "Although he forgives me and the old man is willing for me to come back, but... I can't forgive myself."

Pushing the incomplete Matador and Tequila Sunrise in front of Jason and Dick, Jero said to Jason: "It's not entirely your fault, the guys behind the scenes hide it very well."

"It's done, it's done, there's nothing to say." Jason said indifferently.

After saying that, Jason looked at Jero who was mixing drinks for him for the first time. After looking at him for a moment, he finally remembered where he had seen Jello.

"Are you the boy you were in Metropolis?"

"It's me." Jero said proudly, "But the name of Cheresa K. Gargulas was made by me."

"What a strange name, but it's very similar to your style." Dick joked from the side.

"What a coincidence..." Jason murmured.

Seeing that Jason ordered a drink but had no intention of drinking it, Jero looked at Jason curiously and asked:

"Have you not decided what to do yet?"

"Absolutely." Jason looked a little lifeless.

Looking at Jason like this, Dick shook his head helplessly, and none of this could be hidden from Jero. He drank his own Qinfeish and said:

"Instead of being depressed like this, why not find your own reasons? Besides, since you can be confused, doesn't it mean you still have a way to go?"

"Does getting lost mean there is still a way to go?" Hearing this, Jason was startled. After pondering for a moment, he laughed, "I like what you said."

"As long as you know what to do." Jero drank the wine in one gulp without any taste and began to clean the wine glass.

"Even if there are no clues?"

Next to Jason, Dick asked him.

"As long as it existed, there must be clues left." Jason answered Dick silently.

"But that would be very dangerous." Donna said on the side, "Their killer can even suppress me for a short time, you are an ordinary person?"

"It's true that I'm an ordinary person, but I don't know how to use ordinary means." Jason said coldly.

After saying that, Jason drank the ‘Matador’ that Jello had prepared in one gulp. He slammed the glass on the table and praised Jello.

"The craftsmanship is good, but it's a pity that I don't have anything valuable on me."

After thinking about it carefully, Jason handed a communicator to Jero and explained.

"Take this communicator. If you need my help, use this to contact me."

As soon as he finished speaking, Jason turned around and left the bar without giving Jero a chance to refuse.

Watching Jason leave, Dick shook his head, and then put the two suitcases he brought into the bar on the table.

"Come and see the gift someone gave you."
